The location is very good. It's quite an uphill walk back from main town centre for old legs but it was fine. Being able to leave the car in the hotel car park to explore the town centre was a great bonus. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. It had more of a B&B vibe than a hotel one but a very good B&B. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was more than enough to set us up for the day.

The room smelled of damp clothes although everything was perfectly dry. Maybe the bed linen was not dried thoroughly when laundered....? The shower water took a long time to heat up but there was a notice to say this so we expected it and waited patiently as requested. It could not be helped as it is not in their control but some guests in the opposite hotel were up very early and sitting outside chatting quite loudly. It was warm so we had the window open. These were minor things and they would not put us off rebooking another stay. We had a enjoyable 2 nights.

The host ( Tina ) was incredible, super friendly and flexible- I had to be up quite early for work and she adjusted the breakfast time for me. The Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the city centre and the room is clean, comfy and quiet, and has all you would require. The car park is spacious, which is a bonus. Now, let's talk about the best thing-- breakfast! I don't know how, but I have had the best cheesy omelette of my life here. I will definitely go back. Felt safe and comfortable, I highly recommend it.

The overall stay at the Tregonholme Hotel was very good. Despite exceptional value for my single room with bathroom, it was comfortable, clean and very well located. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were lovely. The lady in charge (didn't get her name) was brilliant. When I arrived she moved her own car so that I could get a parking space. Later in the day, when I got locked out of my room at midnight (going to the car), she organised for her son to let me in, despite my having woken her up when I called the emergency number, and was very gracious about it the next morning. I'd recommend the hotel for a very good value simple stay.

The hotel was excellent value for money, very clean and tidy, breakfast was ideal, the manager and staff were helpful polite and flexible - the room was ready early, so when we arrived they let check in straight away, even though we were hours early. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

The car park was a little small, but we managed to park both cars that our group brought. The shower head lifted out of its holder when I turned it on, due to the high pressure so I had to hold it in my hand to shower. A very minor issue though - better that than the pressure being too low!

The host Tina was very pleasant. Breakfast was lovely and a great bonus to our stay. The location was on point. Both close to the town centre and beach. I would advise exploring the area to avoid going up steep hills. There are other ways to get around with less steep hills. The rooms had everything we needed including a small fridge. Windows can be opened.Overall We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider coming back. Tina advised me to book directly next to receive some discount next time.

Freshly cooked breakfast was great, free parking, good location (although hilly so may not be a good option for everyone), manager/ host was great and highly amenable. Very reasonable price for what you get- have stayed previously and will probably stay again! We were even allowed to view two different rooms and was offered a choice of either- great service!

The shower temperature was highly temperamental and was a complete 'luck of the draw' if it was lovely and hot or just tepid/ cold. The carpet on the communal stairs could do with replacing as extremely thin and fairly worn so when guests come up and down the stairs it can be noisy if near your room.

The hotel is in an excellent location! We came down from London to go to the BIC center. It's literally down the road (a hill) to get there (the BIC) and then a few minutes from there you're in the town. Walking distance !hilly so great exercise esp in heels! The bed was very comfortable, did not want to get out of it. The breakfast was made fresh to order. Staff were friendly.

The shower in our room wasn't the best in terms of how it came out of the shower head but it was working so not too much of an issue. Just as a personal preference, there could have been a bit more beans with the brekkie :-D but honestly, we'd stay again- might become our regular place to stay when we come down!

I was extremely happy with staff's communication and efficiency! During check in I had an extremely tight turn around of 15 minutes as I had to go spectate a team at a competition taking place at the BIC which is only 5 minute walk away. They checked me in within 5 minutes and did not take my flustered-ness personally at all... in fact they were really calm about it and understood my rushedness without judgement! I also had an issue where I couldn't check out during the check out period as I was competing at that time. I had messaged them about this when I had booked them (quite late at night) and I was very surprised they were quick to respond saying they were fine with keeping my bags safely at the hotel until I was ready to collect. 2 Separate staff members clearly remembered this request as well and immediately knew who I was - again, excellent communication, care & attention to detail. The cooked breakfast was also good - it was quick and I was attended to super promptly!

Ah now, what a fantastic little hotel! Stayed here for 3 nights attending the Bob Dylan concert and MCFC v Bournemouth. Perfectly located, 5 min walk to town centre and local buses, 5 min walk to seafront, 2 mins to the BIC. Hotel itself is spotlessly clean, room well ventilated. Hearty freshly cooked breakfasts, with lashings of hot buttery toast and freshly brewed coffee. Nothing more to add other than a sincere thank you to the excellent staff, and the friendly (and rather beautiful) receptionist with the gorgeous smile!

Amazing hotel, nothing was too much trouble for the lovely lady who checked us in. She showed us to our room, which was a 2 bedroomed suite. Very well equipped with fridge, microwave, shower gel, hand wash and plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Also 2 bottles of fresh drinking water. As we were checking out very early the owner said she would cook our breakfast extra early for us. Breakfast was delicious and the children loved their pancakes from the special children menu. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing to dislike, this hotel is just perfect.
