Was very nice place to stay with great facilities.

Cooked breakfast wasn’t the greatest. Would of been better if the pool was open later of a night time. The hill was extremely difficult to walk everyday was unaware it was on a steep hill.

Had the most amazing weekend staying at hotel Collingwood with my mum. Beautifully decorated rooms which feel cosy and clean with everything we needed. We sat in the lovely hotel bar which has board & card games, a great selection of drinks and a pool table. It’s Close to the beach and park where the Christmas market and the spectacular Christmas tree trail is which is where we spent our entire day, however after getting in the festive spirit a little to much we got lost on our way back and had to ring the hotel to find out how to get back 🫣 The lovely James went out of his way and saved the day by finding us and bringing us back to the hotel. Great hotel perfectly situated lots to do we didn’t use the pool as had no time, can’t wait to return!

Steps from the car park at the back of hotel were a little tricky. But using the front door was great.

It’s a lovely hotel, well finished inside, lovely decor, friendly staff, surprisingly roomy, with nice facilities - spa with treatments, pool, jacuzzi and small spa garden. Very well located for the beach and conference centre. Bathrooms good, although shower did take a while to warm up, great once hot.

Rooms at the front can be a bit noisy due to the road, and breakfast doesn’t start til 8, which is quite late for business travellers, however plenty of small independent cafes in walking distance. No safes in the rooms, not a problem but just to be aware. However you need a fob to enter the area with rooms, which provides extra security.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning décor and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Oskar for his fantastic welcome and for taking the time to explain everything so clearly – a truly helpful start to our stay! Our family room was a delight – spacious, beautifully appointed, and boasting a lovely sea view. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room did get a little warm, but the fans provided were a welcome addition Breakfast was perfectly adequate and offered a good variety. While the continental buffet had a selection of cereals, fresh and canned fruits, yogurts, juices, water, coffee, jams, and hot drinks, the highlight was definitely the delicious a la carte menu. We enjoyed options like the full English (including a vegan version!), salmon and egg on toast, avocado and egg on toast, pancakes, and croissants – plenty to satisfy everyone. It's also great to know that brunch, lunch, and dinner are available, along with a well-stocked bar. The spa facilities were a fantastic bonus, especially for our family. Our 3-year-old absolutely loved playing in the pool. The jacuzzi was wonderfully warm and relaxing! My husband also thoroughly enjoyed the sauna. The hotel's location is convenient for beach access, just a 5-6 minute walk away. Overall, we had a truly happy and memorable stay at the Hotel Collingwood. We honestly feel this hotel is somewhat underrated and possesses the charm and quality deserving of a 4-star rating. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Bournemouth!

While the bathroom was a tad on the smaller side, and we did notice the noise from outside, these were minor points in an otherwise exceptional experience. The water in the main pool was very cold. Do be aware that it's a downhill walk to the beach and uphill on the return, which might be a consideration for some.

Lovely hotel. I booked for a weekend for my partners birthday and in requests let them know it was a celebration on arrival there were balloons in the room and rose petals. The room itself was beautiful with amazing views of the sea. The spa was nice and relaxing. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was tasty overall a very nice stay. Only downfall I would say was the room had no fridge. The spa was out of use for one of the days due to maintenance work. And you have to pay for parking. I would have gave the hotel a 10 if the spa worked on both days and the price included parking. But overall a lovely stay and I would defo stay again

Stayed in a Cozy Double on the 3rd floor. Amazing room. Comfy bed and love the Smart TV. Spa facilities were fantastic, such a great bonus. Even treated myself to a massage. Breakfast included too. This was lovely, great choice of hot dishes and selection of cereal and yoghurt along with juices and hot drinks :) Also so close to the front! What a hidden gem! Only negative I would say would be the shower. Took a while to heat up and while in the shower I picked all the limescale off of the waterfall head. Oddly satisfying but the cleaners really should do this. Other than that it was brilliant and so happy to have found a decent deal for a get away Definitely would recommend and visit again.

Great location for Bournemouth International Centre less than 10 min walk . Ideal . Room adequate bed comfortable with spacious ensuite. Breakfast had good selection but less choice than last year.. Staff welcoming and helpful.

Room again faced busy road noisy until late and early in the morning. Breakfast has become almost self service with only cooked being served. Tea and coffee now from a machine. Size of cooked also smaller. Parking at rear serviced by ANPR now £12 50 not even 24 hours only midday next so if you arrive later in day quite expensive. Not Hotels fault directly.

Great location - 5 minute walk one way is the beach, and a 5 minute walk the other is the town, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel has good car parking, a nice games room and pool, with hot tub and sauna, the rooms are clean and spacious and the staff were really friendly.

The room I was in was really nice 214, however, the shower pressure was poor and the toilet and sink location was silly. The sink is too large and means you can't sit on the toilet without hugging the sink or leaning to the side. Odd being that it was a large bathroom. (We are slim build, so larger people would really struggle).

Lovely decorated room on Floor 3. En suite finished to a high standard & no issues with hot water. Location of the hotel handy for the Bournemouth International Centre, beach, Pier & town centre. The Lindt chocolate bunny was a much appreciated nice touch for Easter. Staff were very welcoming & helpful.

The room was situated to the front of the hotel so was noisy due to the busy road & drunken revellers. I was woken at 0220 by a drunk resident shouting & slamming his room door. There was constant barking from a residents dog for at least 20 minutes when it's owner was having breakfast this morning. Not great on a Sunday morning when I hadn't slept well.

Great location. Tasteful decor inside and out, very warm and inviting. Hotel restaurant and bar wete fabulous, in terms of space and staff. Staff were extremely helpful. Room was comfortable, if not missing a couple of things. Staff brought up cooler for my med, which I had requested.

Not nearly enough power points in room. A small hairdryer in the room would have helped, even though I know the staff would have brought one, if requested. Only 1 room key available for couples/families. Hotel parking was a little steep (£12.50) but extending passed 12pm for £5 was reasonable.
