We raved about this property because of its cleanliness and location near the beach. The staff also receives high praise for friendly and helpful service. The rooms were spacious and modern, with comfortable beds and updated amenities. We had no trouble getting a good night's sleep here.

There is no elevator, and my 80-year-old mum cannot reach the 2nd floor. Next time, I will be more careful when booking to ensure we can have a room on the ground floor. She struggled to climb up the stairs with her luggage, and I felt terrible for not considering this beforehand.

Very close to the beach and pier, was very clean and we had a coffee machine and complimentary bottles of water and chocolates, which was a pleasant surprise, that added just that little touch to our stay, the lady at the reception provided exceptional service, very attentive and friendly.

Just the shower cublice was really small, would be great of it was a bit bigger or even have a bath, as we booked a family room.

The staff were so helpful and friendly (especially Rhea) and the room exceeded our expectations. It was clean and facilities were great. Parking was great as well as location.

My friend found her bed a bit uncomfortable but mine was fine. It would have been great to have a small table and chairs or just another chair if no table.

It was clean and good value it would appear they have been recently refurbished. I've seen complaints about going to the sister hotel for the keys, I have no idea why it's basically across the road.

Our room was on the third floor, the stairs are very steep. As we were in the room we had the eves and. I'm only 5ft8 and I had to make sure I didn't bang my head in the toilet. Likewise I could sit upright in bed

It didn't phase me but I'm 5ft but my partner did wack his head off the TV 4x in less that 24 hours I found it funny but maybe in those small rooms the TV sticking out in the middle of the walk way to the bed at eye hight for some could be a potential problem maybe having it the opposite side so against the wardrobe would be a safer option

Location was fabulous, although there is a massive hill to walk up yiur only a few mins from the beach. Rooms are basic but adequate and restaurants and shops near by. Would suggest a mini fridge in rooms and curtains on windows that can be looked in at street level.

Nothing not to like, only suggestion would be to offer a breakfast, even if it was delivered or collected to rooms/reception but as no breakfast is on offer, a mini fridge in all rooms to allow guest to accommodate themselves

Location was great. Just the hill coming back was a challenge but I'm not the fittest of people haha. Honestly room size, cleanliness and location was great

Not anything I didn't like really, maybe some net curtains on the window as people can see in from the car park (room 608), air con or a fan in the room would be better and a mini fridge as no food options provided.

Really nice hotel, brilliant location 5 min walk down to the beach and to the town centre. Bed was really comfortable. Big and spacious room and bathroom. Got to park the car an it earlier and make the most of the beach. Good communication with staff members regarding check in and needing toilet roll.

We didn’t have any toilet roll when we first checked in b it the staff were very quick to bring us some.

Location was perfect for our needs, apart from being up a steep hill so my legs had a work out haha! Parking was a bonus and so helpful, Was also helpful to be ale to get in and out with a code to the door.

Stairs within the lodge are very steep for anyone who may struggle, The single bed was REALLY comfortable but the double was not as much No plugs visible near the bed more spare towels please :)

Room was spacious and well decorated with large windows. There was an adequate television with many channels accessible and tea and coffee facilities. Good lighting and cooling facilities available as well.

Some of the shower and sink drainage was potentially blocked but not entirely. Room can get cold at night. (Perhaps ask how to raise the central heating provided before bedtime...)
