The hotel is close to the beach, amusements, restaurants and other places. Breakfast is very good. Quiet place to stay with family.

There is usually no one at reception and guests may have to wait outside the hotel for long time to check in or to ask questions or request bath items. Maybe more staff is to be considered.in the hotel.

Very good value for money, Parking on site for only £5 or £10 for a van, Breakfast in the morning, Bed was old but comfortable, tea and coffee in the room. You get what you pay for and more.

None of this was a deal breaker for us, if we wanted more we would have picked somewhere more expensive but things to bare in mind. Hot water is only on for a set time in the morning and evening so you can't take a shower whenever you feel like it. You'll find yourself double parked in the summer so you might not be able to get your car in and out when you need it. The door to our bathroom didn't close, needs to be sanded down so it can shut properly.

The staff on Saturday morning for Breakfast were very happy smiling very talkative and Great service couldn't fault any thing at all 5 out of 5 😃👌

Sunday morning staff, we were the first down in the morning so very quiet we order 3 full breakfasts, two poached eggs on 2 pieces of toast (Only 1 egg on toast both) we only had 1 pot of coffee shared between 5 and 1 pot of tea, and No toast served, Time we were was served are food it got very busy and we tried to ask for toast and more coffee but the young girl was very busy. 3 out of 5 😔

Check in was quick and easy, the room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable, the tv remote didn't work very well, new batteries maybe? the shower was very good and breakfast in the morning was excellent

The bathroom is very nice but would benefit from having a shelf or something to put clothes on whilst in the shower or toiletries and a toilet roll holder ,not just left on top of the toilet

An inviting period hotel at an extremely good price. Adequate parking on site with a 10 minute walk to Bournemouth Square. On a bit of a hill, and if you're on the top floor, you'll enjoy the exercise. Continental breakfast was a welcome start to the day. Hotel bar availability states, "Bar door open, bar open. Bar door closed, bar closed" Honest accommodation. Recommended.

Stayed on the 15th Dec.. Great location, a short walk to town centre. Friendly lovely staff. Our room was no 19, was a very warm and clean room, a comfortable bed, loads of free coffee,tea, hot chocolate and little pots of milk in our room.. Breakfast was from 9am to 10pm.. lovely cooked breakfast, and especially on hot plates, which I love.. a sigh of a good chef.. thank-you.. a great getaway to see Bournemouth Christmas Market..

Some glasses would be nice.. different drinking wine and lemonade out of a cup..lol.. Hotel just needs some TLC..

Convenient and extremely friendly

Bit down at heel... Was moved from one room to another as the TV was broken, in new room main light did not work, ceiling rose was barely hanging from plaster which was cracked and as I showered the side panel of the cubicle fell in on me.

The location, the new decor, everywhere was clean and fresh, the room was well presented, new looking shower room. . The staff were very helpful, pleasant and went the extra to make my stay very enjoyable.

Nothing really. It isn't a large national chain hotel but friendly family run offering a good service and velean well maintained bedrooms
