I enjoyed the location, the small room, the coffee maker, Syrus the staff member was very helpful and kind to me throughout my visit.

The TV was blocked by the cupboard in my room, on the first night a group of Indian men were shouting throughout the night at each other and running up and down the stairs, inside and outside my room which was really disturbing and I didn't sleep properly. Thankfully they left on Tues and the rest of the stay was peaceful, I hope this group of men are banned as they were knocking on each other's doors at 3am!! Walking to the beach and back is a strenuous experience as it is a very steep climb been and you'll build up your fitness for sure! The curtains didn't shut properly and let light in every morning waking me up There was a stain on the bed cover which was quickly removed when I pointed it out.

After reading further reviews I was about to cancel but found payment had been taken. So glad we didn’t! In our experience the poor reviews are very unkind,although the place may have been decorated since they were written. We were met by perfectly pleasant and polite staff who took our bags straight to our room on the ground floor overlooking a courtyard garden. We had requested a ground or first floor room. The place was attractively decorated in navy and white,fresh and crisp,with just a few seaside ornaments about to make it feel a holiday destination. Our room was good and similarly decorated with lovely fluffy soft white towels and white bedding. The bathroom was a good size with nice strong hot shower. No complaints there. Yes there was only one pillowcase, per person,but two pillows were in side so usual height as if having two pillows normally. It is in a very convenient position,walking distance to central Bournemouth,and to the cliff path. Buses along the road to various destinations,even to Swanage by open topped bus across the ferry! It is an older building so maybe if you look hard enough you might find things not as immaculate as in a modern trendy place,but perfectly acceptable.

The property is probably a better B n B than a hotel because they do not serve food or have a lounge sitting area. Never the less it is perfectly acceptable as a place to stay over and many outlets for food all around. We went to the Hop In just a few yards away and had the most delicious freshly cooked breakfast in a pleasant setting. Only negative comment was the TV which had a lot of disruption on it.

Shub was friendly from the start, eventhough we arrived us early he checked us in as a room was available. He also provided enough information for us if we needed any help. He was friendly, kind, attentive & very polite. Definitely made our whole experience in the hotel so much better. We loved How close the hotel was to the beach ! And I realised not to judge a book by its cover because it turned out so much more nicer and cosier than i expected!

Nothing to be honest, probably the only thing i would say is climbing up hills in bournemouth was hard so couldve done with having a lift instead of stairs haha but that’s ne being unfit

Near centre room was clean and tidy

Room was on top floor. Landing was dirty (chips on floor and washing left on heater over weekend. Tins of food on top of a cupboard the room).

As someone who stays in a lot of hotels bed and break im used to having coat hangers and they had a wardrobe but no hangers also bedside lamp no sockets by bed paying 50.00 incase anyone breaks anything i no they just hold it not take it but id expect that if it was stag or hen parties but a couple in a room were not used to that but needs must i still def stay again

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and very accommodating when we had arrived a little earlier than the check in time, our room was ready so they very kindly let us check in early so we could leave our things which gave us extra time on the beach, as we were only staying for one night it was great to have just that little bit of extra quality time :) The room was great, perfect for us and the children, when we next visit I think we'll be requesting the same room! So clean, towels were super soft, there was a nice big shower too. On our check out day the staff gave us a little extra time on the car parking as well, mainly because we were blocked in by another car and they were taking their time to come and move it, so they said it's ok leave it there and gave us a chance to go to the shops and back to the beach before we left to go home, slightly breaking the rules on the parking front but it really made a difference to the day not having to panic trying to find somewhere else to park and the expense as we were on a tight budget. It was the perfect hotel for our needs and the staff made our stay even better. Cannot recommend brooklands any higher. Only thing is I can't remember either of the staff's names :( which is annoying as id like to highlight their customer service again and again. They really got that when you're traveling with children it can be tricky and they just took every worry from my head as soon as we arrived, aaaaannnnd relaaaaxx!!! Thank you Brooklands!

Exceptionally clean throughout , quiet location , very friendly receptionist , free parking , free baby cot. New carpet in the room.

A little too small for my liking but very good value for money

Location and staff were fantastic, free parking on site if you arrive early enough and staff allowed car to stay a few hours after check out time for no additional costs. I loved the stay here, for a one night stay it was great value and a great location, of course some things can be improved but you get exactly what you are paying for so cant complain at all.

The beds could do with a better mattress, shower curtain needs changing

What a lovely gem right in the heart of Bournemouth! All members of the team were so friendly and welcoming. The room had a lovely ambience, and I liked the blue and white theme. Having a coffee machine in the room was also a nice touch. The mattress was a bit worn, but I am sure it will be replaced at some stage, so this is only a minor point. It looks like the whole building is undergoing some renovation, so I am excited to see what is to come for this gorgeous place.

The room was very spacious and super comfortable — I had a peaceful, uninterrupted sleep with no noise at all. The staff, especially Ria and Saras, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the stay feel welcoming.

The room looked a bit older than expected and didn’t quite match the photos online, but it was still clean and comfortable.
