I loved the privacy after being in a few hostels. The room was warm and the gentleman that greeted me when I reported in was very kind and warm. And finally a room with towels! Plus the value per night was exceptional and I was able to have a lovely cup of tea and coffee in my room since they provided it with milk and sugar.

The shower took a bit to heat up and the water pressure was a little lacking but not a deal breaker. What made me laugh was how large the sink bowl was but how short the spigot was. I had to press my hand right up against the bowl to get under the water. Also the bigger bed was two mattresses put together and my back could feel it sometimes.

Friendly welcome. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Perfect location. The only negative was that our room opened on to the reception area. Consequently we heard talking at reception quite early in the morning. However, everything else was good and we would happily stay at the Fairmount again.

For the money this was the best value and most comfortable hotel with an excellent location that I have ever stayed in! At £31 for the night I had a double room (very small but completely adequate) with Tv, coffee/tea making, table and chair plus an ensuite bathroom. The radiators were hot, the water was hot, and it was clean. 5 minute walk into the center of Bournemouth. Fantastic value for money.

You could hear the road despite double glazing; the walls were thin so I could hear next door - fortunately no one was loud but there’s the potential for it …. But for £31 that’s fine!

Not a lot of pressure in shower but lovely and warm not much room in room very limited storage not toiletries but having said great value for money at 34pound per night quite staff make sure resident are respectfully to others at night

For 11 people, the hotel suited our needs very well. Plenty of beds, two showers in the room and a balcony. The staff were excellent and were very accommodating. They let us give our key to the night porter to ensure we didn't lose it (we were out on a stag so that would have been a distinct possibility!) The option of parking in central Bournemouth was also a massive bonus, costing £10 per car a night which, given the location, was more than reasonable. The location itself was excellent, only being a 5 minute walk into the town centre (excluding the massive hill leading into town).

The only issue for us was the combination of room sizing - it would have been nice to have a couple of family rooms to accommodate all 11 of us evenly, but we ended up having to get a 9 bed and a 2 bed. Still, that was hardly an issue and the rooms themselves were great. Checkout at 10am is a little early, but anything would be if you'd been out drinking heavily the night before!

Friendly staff although we didn’t see them much. Room and bathroom was spotless. Few minutes walk from the beach and town.

No toiletries provide and hand towels provided, nothing to hang your clothes on in bathroom when getting changed. Room was quite small for family but you get what you pay for as it was quite cheaper than other hotels in the area and after reading the reviews was the cleanest as well.

Martin was friendly. Miguel went above and beyond to make me and my family feel comfortable and welcome.

I didn’t like the fact the room had no outside view from the windows as it was downstairs (room 21) It was very hot. We were given a fan so can’t really complain. I think the room was a little outdated and could do with some touching up.

It was very basic, and we had everything we needed for a night's stay. They had tea, coffee cups, a kettle, and towels.

We had to run the tap to get hot water to have a hot shower, no shower gel, and lots of stairs to get to our room, which was at the top. There were no net curtains, so we were unable to open our curtains. We paid £10 for parking.

The hotel and room was very clean , bed comfortable , good decor , staff friendly , despite some traffic noise I slept very well . Central location.

hotel is located on a busy road and had to shut the window before I went to bed , which made the room a bit hot , maybe air conditioning may help , car parking is an extra 10 pounds .

Close to all amenities staff were fantastic polite and so helpful will definitely go back when we next go to Bournemouth I was given a room upstairs but I have bad knees and can't climb stairs the lady realised this and straight away gave us a down stairs room I would rate this hotel a 100 per cent.
