Room was nice and modern, clean and a nice a view. Location on the beach was great too. Breakfast had lots of choices and when I asked if I could have poached eggs the lady I spoke to said no problem and got it done. Brilliant. Also the Italian lady on reception was very helpful, very welcoming and personable. The guy in the bar, Australian was brilliant as well. Your staff are a credit to your organization.

The back of the hotel looks a bit shabby but would not stop myself and my wife staying again. I find the 4pm check in time a bit odd, most hotels anywhere in the UK including most hotels in Bournemouth itself have a 3 pm check in time. I understand rooms must be cleaned but. I think 4pm is a little late.

Loving the decor in the lobby and in the restaurant and bar, bedrooms were lovely and the bed very comfy and big. Breakfast was really good and lots of choice, something for everyone. Loved the long walks along the coastline.

Thought parking a bit expensive on top of paying over £306 for our room. Tea and coffee tray very poor for a 4 star hotel. Some of the furnishings in bedroom were very dusty and hadn’t been done for some time, light fittings in bathroom, picture and door frames

Refurbished room great with sea view, location very good for excellent beach, staff very friendly & helpful, food & service very good.

Breakfast is self-service but, despite lots of staff, coffee & tea were not self-service so you had to wait to be served - they need to have coffee machines with hot water for guests as you'd normally expect. Car park was OK as long as you pay £12 per day at reception (cheaper) and not via the parking app (£48 per day, very expensive). Hotel gardens & pool area need a bit of a tidy-up and, because of the cliff collapse works, the front looks a bit scruffy.

Hotel location was excellent. Very pleasant & helpful staff. Meals at the hotel were excellent.

Lack of tea spoones at breakfast. Coffee & tea offered at your table but nothing to stir you milk in with. No tea spoons in the buffet area, at least not obvious? Have tea spoons gone out of fashion? Some staff a bit slow at clearing away dirty plates at breakfast, others more on the ball. A belief that guests sitting indoors for breakfast need the windows open ing so that they can sit in a brisk sea breeze. There was an outside dining area to do that!! Breakfast food was fine as we're the staff, just some things a bit annoying.1

The location for one, you really cannot go wrong. Beautiful views of the beach and sea. The staff were lovely and accomodating. Had wifi issues with my original room which the team tried to rectify but in the end facilitated a room change, upon my request. We didn’t try the swimming pool out sadly, but again this wasn’t advertised upon checking in. I did hear other people being told though- not sure why the lack of consistency. The beds were sooo comfortable I have to say. Slept sooo good.

Not for me specifically but for those who are in wheelchairs/have mobility issues or carrying heavy luggage have a stairs to lead into the hotel is a no no for me. There should be a ramp also to make it accessible for all withouf having to go around the back route. The times you’d check into a hotel and they’d point out where the facilities were etc, long gone and now replaced by an A4 piece of paper- not a fan of this but noted other hotels are starting to do this.

This is an amazingly well located hotel with beautiful sea views: from the entrance, the bar, the restaurant and from your room if you choose as such. The staff were the most welcoming and professional I have come across in a long time in the UK. The room was nicely decorated, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Good breakfast and very good restaurant in the hotel too. An historical building, well renovated, providing a pool and gym facilities. A few minutes from the beach for the pier or for a walk/run along the almost infinite promenade.

I cannot fault the hotel.

Gluten free options for breakfast could have had more options Staff should have a preprinted map of the area and more information about how to get to other places eg Poole. We have a very good trip . It was a lovely place to be. The accommodation was great a little on the expensive side for a 4 days stay. But I needed a break and so did my son and husband. I would have loved to stay longer but It was over the budget. The place was clean every day. I bit concerned about security as I saw a couple of people come from the street who were not guests via the car park and came to the bar on the outside pool areas. Trying to see they could get some alcohol when a staff member left the area. If they can get there they could get in to the hotel rooms and no one would notice. I was staying in one of the rooms which was situated near the car park band sometimes the door wasn't locked. This is the one next to the lift Otherwise we could find anything wrong. One of the guests told reception thatbshe had no electricity in her room. It a lovely hotel just needs a upgrade of the electric and flushing system. Toilet keep blocking up

The room was lovely, well decorated and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and the restaurant and bar food was delicious (better than the Ivy). All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located near to the beach, town centre, entertainment and our family. I recommend going on the full day Jurassic Coast coach tour with Discover Dorset tours.

I wish we paid more for the superior room with view, our deluxe was excellent so the superior must be fantastic. As we stayed for a week it would have been useful to have more drawers, but there was lots of open storage for our luggage.

Lovely bedroom facing the sea and the team kindly gave us some fudge for our anniversary celebration and some chocolate strawberries. Comfortable medium sized room. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Close walk down to the beach and pier. Probably the best located hotel in Bournemouth. Beautiful smelling 'This Works' products in the bathroom.

Swimming pool had a dirty rim so we decided not to use it. Parts of the hotel look like they need painting / some care and attention which is surprising for a Marriot and for £300 paid for one night. Bar area was nice but again could do with some attention to worn carpet etc / wear and tear. No bath in the room which was disappointing for the price. The shower however was very well designed.

Very comfortable room and an amazing bed. Clean and big bathroom with great selection of gels and lotions for use. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. Location is great, within short walking distance from the beach and town centre.

Breakfast service was slow. We had to wait a long time for our drinks (tea and coffee). Ordered poached eggs, when asked where they are as rest of the Breakfast was cold by then, I received boiled eggs. It was surprising that only filtered coffee was included in the breakfast. All other coffees were extra charge. My expectation of this hotel was to have a coffee machine available for customers. It would take pressure off waiters as we would help ourselves for hot drinks without waiting and asking for a top-up.
