Room was nice and modern, clean and a nice a view. Location on the beach was great too. Breakfast had lots of choices and when I asked if I could have poached eggs the lady I spoke to said no problem and got it done. Brilliant. Also the Italian lady on reception was very helpful, very welcoming and personable. The guy in the bar, Australian was brilliant as well. Your staff are a credit to your organization.

The back of the hotel looks a bit shabby but would not stop myself and my wife staying again. I find the 4pm check in time a bit odd, most hotels anywhere in the UK including most hotels in Bournemouth itself have a 3 pm check in time. I understand rooms must be cleaned but. I think 4pm is a little late.

Loving the decor in the lobby and in the restaurant and bar, bedrooms were lovely and the bed very comfy and big. Breakfast was really good and lots of choice, something for everyone. Loved the long walks along the coastline.

Thought parking a bit expensive on top of paying over £306 for our room. Tea and coffee tray very poor for a 4 star hotel. Some of the furnishings in bedroom were very dusty and hadn’t been done for some time, light fittings in bathroom, picture and door frames

The room was lovely, well decorated and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and the restaurant and bar food was delicious (better than the Ivy). All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located near to the beach, town centre, entertainment and our family. I recommend going on the full day Jurassic Coast coach tour with Discover Dorset tours.

I wish we paid more for the superior room with view, our deluxe was excellent so the superior must be fantastic. As we stayed for a week it would have been useful to have more drawers, but there was lots of open storage for our luggage.

We like the location of the hotel and it had an outside pool.Rooms have been updated.Quiet night sleep.

Pool area was not manned,lots of children and adults had no regard for other people staying at hotel.Throwing balls ,jumping in,more like Butlins.There was a cheer leading competition,there where practicing in the water,saw a young girl doing cartwheel down corridor.We paid a lot of money to stay at the hotel and parents and children should be reminded/staff more vigilant,because we didn,t see anybody who was bothered about what was going on.

Hotel location at West Cliff could not be better. Beautiful views of the sea and beach and an easy walk to the beach, buses and the town. Beach Lift just across the road in front of the hotel could not be more convenient. Reception staff and breakfast staff at the hotel very pleasant and helpful.

Out of a 7 day stay it seemed quite regular for some item of hot breakfast to be missing, not kept topped up. Fried eggs I think the favourite to have gone. Even baked beans!! No teaspoons on the tables with other cutlery but drinks served at tables & milk jugs on the tables. More attention to detail and the service at breakfast needed. Annoying little things. Food hot and cold choice was good.

loved the view. The bar I enjoyed my stay. The room and view were great. The staff were lovely and I enjoyed a few drinks in the bar in the evening. The location was great. There is a cable car down to the beach as you are up the hill.

We stayed in the cottage rooms which were a little detached from the hotel. I have stayed twice and this has happened twice.They were lovely but if I had mobility issues this would have been issue. Just feel it fair to say contact them so it doesn’t effect your stay as the hotel itself is lovely.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the endless blue ocean every morning was truly a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience. The peaceful ambiance and serene surroundings added a touch of tranquility to my stay, making it a truly relaxing retreat. Furthermore, the amenities and facilities at the Marriott Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I found everything to be well-maintained and conveniently accessible. The comfortable accommodations, delicious dining options, and convenient location all contributed to making my stay a memorable one.

Car parking in great demand with spaces tricky to get into. Bathroom door not able to be closed as top hinge was not seated properly. The television in the bedroom was a Smart TV but as it did not have an internet connection, all the Smart facilties weren't available, nor was it posible to use the screen cast facility from a mobile phone as that too required the TV to have an internet connection. Very disappointed that we couldn't access Netflix or iPlayer during our stay. You pay premium prices for a highly rated hotel so you expect your room to be top notch. I've stayed in many better.

Our stay at Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott on a bleak February Sunday warmed our hearts! Our cottage room was spacious and light with windows on 2 sides, one of which looked out on Bournemouth Bay. The staff (Gemma) was welcoming and helpful. We arrived early and were checked in right away as our room was ready. We had a great meal at the restaurant. It was a great base for our visit to Russell Cotes Art gallery! Above all, the off-season price was excellent value for money!

Couldn't adjust the height of the hand held shower holder. On first night my kohlrabi dish was tough and near inedible. It was changed and the second version was delicious. However there was scant apology for an incident which impaired our enjoyment of what was for us a special meal. The breakfast buffet took some getting used to nor was it clear what sort of coffee was included in the breakfast price. The restaurant staff were friendly and charming but in my opinion need to learn not to appear to be under pressure even if they are. These criticisms did not prevent us from enjoying our stay but could and maybe should be addressed in an hotel of this standard.
