It was lovely to get away with the family. We had 4 lodges in total. The welcome food extras were excellent. Everyone commented on how good the bread was. We were able to get a large food delivery to the lodge door which was fabulous. The hot tubs were a massive hit with children and adults alike. The owners were very helpful and always answered any questions that I had. Highly recommend.Many thanks

One observation was that some of the party got bitten by mosquitoes (nothing to do with the lodges but time of year and sitting outside) …so I would pack mosquito spray and ointment. I did have some with me but more by luck than judgement.

Myself, friend & her dog stayed at the lodge. We didn’t travel anywhere, it was perfect. We just wanted complete rest & relaxation away from people & everyday life. It was wonderful! Being disabled, the lodge was excellent. Shower seat provided & everything that was needed was available. The hot tub was the best I’ve had. Stepping down into the hot tub was ideal. We had a grocery delivery upon our arrival with ready meals (something we don’t normally have at home) No proper cooking needed which was bliss. We had a takeaway one night, delivery time was only 20 minutes! A fabulous stay. We shall definitely be returning.

Signal & WiFi would have been helpful. Purely, to let my husband at home know everything was ok. This is the first time being away without my husband, therefore he worried if he didn’t hear from me each day. Personal circumstances due to my disabilities, & probably not a negative for others who stay here.

Had the most peaceful break in a very long time.Loved the facilities hot tub log burner and all the little extras that were left for our arrival fresh bread/cake /milk/coffee/tea it was really lovely. We also had jacuzzi tub in the log cabin. The only little problem for us was that we had 2 dogs and if there had been a little picket fence the dogs could have gone outside without leads on. On saying that there was cabins with fenced off bits, and when we return the next time we would ask for those particular cabins.

We booked last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation's flexibility in catering to our needs, from tailored room setups to thoughtful complimentary treats like cake and bread in the lodge. The wooden lodge exudes a beautiful aesthetic, ideal for a charming getaway. While it's worth noting that there's no WiFi in the lodges, this turned out to be a blessing for us, as we, being workaholics, were in dire need of a true break to unwind. Disconnecting from the online world allowed us to genuinely relax and immerse ourselves in the tranquil surroundings. The highlight was undoubtedly the hot tub, a luxurious addition that surpassed our expectations and while relaxing in the hot tub we were lucky to see the breathtaking display of the northern lights on Saturday, the 11th. A truly unforgettable experience. Check-in was effortless, as the lodge was prepared and unlocked upon our arrival. Similarly, checking out was a breeze; we simply needed to leave the key in the door before departing. Overall, it was a truly fantastic stay—one that we wholeheartedly recommend to family and friends. We're already looking forward to returning soon!

Frying pan (although states on bottom suitable for all hobs) wasn't suitable for hob, would be good to have a broom and dustpan and brush as well as a hoover for the floors, not enough coat hangers

An amazing place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, a gorgeous fully equipped lodge, with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and sitting outside was so peaceful and relaxing. So many things to do and places to visit, we needed more time. Whoever made the lemon drizzle cake needs to get themselves on Bake Off, as that was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The lodge was fabulous, so clean and comfortable and the facilities are such good value for money . We will definitely be back . The home made bread and cake as a free extra was a lovely touch and delicious. The hot tubs being checked daily was also very good and efficient. The owners were more then hospitable.

Signal wasn't great but we didn't expect any different being in a secluded area . Location was beautiful

We loved our stay pretty much everything we needed was supplied the fresh cake and bread were amazing having milk in the fridge was also a nice touch The Lodge itself was stunning just a very beautiful place to stay having sky tv was unexpected aswell even though the weather was lovely we had to try out the log burner very cozy we will definitely be back

Absolutely nothing the best place

Lodges were clean and well equipped.

Although no WiFi is mentioned, the fact that there is no mobile signal either is disappointing. As other reviewers have said, at least having some signal would allow customers to enjoy a bit of music of their choice whilst enjoying the hot tub. One of the beds in lodge 4 was really poor but thankfully we were only a couple and the other was ok. Also when entering the site, I thought I'd arrived at the wrong place as its not at all appealing and indeed off-putting too. Other than that, had a lovely stay

Wonderful place to unwind and get away from technology and hustle bustle. Around an hour from Durdle Door and the Sandbanks ferry for a lovely little trip out to the coast, and located nearby to a local Morrisons. The cabin was roomy and spacious with a brilliant electric reclining sofa, very comfortable. Extra plug-in heater was great to have as it did get chilly once the fire went out of the evening. Great hot tub with entry from around the back for more privacy. The indoor spa bath was a bonus and was great to be able to bring the dog away with us. Owners were really lovely to talk to and brought us more logs to the cabin to use on the fire, they even brought us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our anniversary which was so sweet of them.

Very small thought, but it would have been great to have an enclosed area around each cabin as there were many other dogs around, just to give that extra bit of security especially of an evening when taking the dog out for a last bathroom break before bed. The phone signal was very low in the area (not a fault of the accommodation, just worth the mention if you rely on technology a lot.)
