Staff was friendly, helpful. Room was really big. Plenty of space. Enjoyed our time there.

there really is no breakfast. We bought food at the 711 across the street. In the eating area, I think there were 2 chairs, a bagel in the open. Maybe cereal in a container. I am not sure there was a drink or fruit. But nothing I wanted to eat. 711 offerings were much better. Parking is tight cause the lot is small, but it really was no problem.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was a great value for the price--very clean and great small amenities (coffee maker in room, fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board). The hotel is located right in front of a bus stop that made it easy to get back and forth around Berkeley with plenty of solid dining options nearby.

The room was a little small, did not have a closet, and only had a few (4) drawers and some shelf space. That worked out fine for me. I was on a long trip but traveling alone so it was just enough space for my things, but I could see the space being a challenge for larger groups with more luggage.

Nice location. Clean room. Easy access to the University, shops and restaurants. Close to an area of the city that I had family members.

Office was often unmanned, so staff not available at times. Air conditioner was close to the bed. For me, a little uncomfortable with air blowing right on me. But, that’s how the room is set up, so don’t see how they could change it.

For the price, it was the perfect spot for me to take an impromptu trip to the Bay for a weekend. It had everything I need: helpful staff, comfortable bed, blackout curtains, a roomy little fridge, microwave, cable TV, a nearby protected parking spot, and respectful guests around me. A huge plus was they allowed me to have an hour-late check-out due to unforeseen circumstances. Bonus - I was lucky to get a nice view of the sunset from my room.

The only things I would change is warmer softer lights by the bed & fixing the remote's volume controls.

I had everything I needed and had a comfortable stay.

There are not many breakfast options as I’m used to coming from Europe, but I’m not a breakfast person so I didn’t mind this. The shower pressure was bit low.

I like the location of it as it was only about a 10min walk to North Berkley stop on the BART and it was only about a 20min walk to University of California (Berkley)

The microwave didn't work, but we really didn't need it just for the one night we stayed

The location was close to dining, grocery shopping, and site seeing. Public transportation was more than adequate. The front desk was helpful and even provided me with a sewing kit to repair a garment.

I cannot think of anything unfavorable. It rained after we left. So, we felt pretty lucky, actually.

When I arrived, there was an issue with the sink, but I let the front desk know and they promptly fixed it. I was impressed! The room was clean and the location was great-- walking distance to tons of restaurants and parks, and a bus stop right outside. Also, we unexpectedly got a discount because they aren't providing breakfast (due to Covid).

I arrived about 5 hours before I could check in and had traveled for days by train and bus. Luckily, I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk, but this is a motel and there is nowhere on the property for guests to sit and wait if you don't have access to your room yet. There is only a parking lot. No benches. It felt hostile to pedestrians.

It was super clean. It had daily maid service. Television worked well. WiFi was good. Bed was comfy. Towels and amenities were nice and fridge and microwave were a bonus.

The parking was tough to maneuver but doable.
