I found the rooms to be spacious, exceptionally clean & well maintained. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Answered all my questions. The pool area was good. quite private surrounded by plants. I really enjoyed the quietness of the whole property. No traffic noise. Highly recommend

Nothing really but it would have been nice to have a more comfy dining area. Being a lone traveler at times its nice to have a comfy communal area, somewhere to sit outside of the motel room

The name Oasis says it all really. Fantastic location behind the main street but connected to it via a private courtyard. Once in the street the Isis Club is about 2-3 minutes walk up the road. There you can get a terrific meal and cold adult beverages. I was very impressed with the entire stay, from accommodation to nearby facilities, including an EV charger very close by.

The fact that I didn't make it into the swimming pool, which looked very enticing and clean in its tropical setting.

Right in the middle of town, but set back from the highway. I’ve over-nighted in Childers a couple of times and spent the whole night being woken up by semi trailers driving through town… I didn’t hear a single truck all night at The Oasis. Wonderful hospitality from Chad and his wife. Both were bang on with dinner suggestions and coffee recommendation in the morning. Looking forward to staying at The Oasis on our next trip north.

Communication from the hotel was excellent as we were arriving late. Room was clean and comfortable. Bedding was excellent and location was fantastic. Our room was at the back of the property and was very quiet, but still walking distance to pubs and cafes for breakfast.

Spotless, modern and clutter free rooms with complete amenities and free bottled water. Bed and pillows are super comfortable - I slept like a baby!! Not to mention it is very quiet considering its central location. Beautiful gardens and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here from now on. There is a pool, laundry facilities and communal kitchen I didn't use but thought worth mentioning here for other guests.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I thought the rooms were well appointed. The place is very clean. The motel is right in town, so you can walk to everything you might need. I also loved that my room had a Bible in it. Most people don't realise that Bibles were introduced to motels and hotels as a form of suicide prevention. If motels and hotels remove them, they need to provide something else. I will definitely stay here again.

If the wall mounted TV bracket turned, to face the lounge more, I would have scored them 10 out of 10. It was the only thing that I would suggest as an improvement.

superb location. Very roomy rooms - lots of space. had all amenities you would need. Nice to have the microwave, but no crockery or cutlery so couldn't really heat up a takeaway meal - not that I really expected to do that. I would definitely recommend this place.

There is a communal kitchen with cutlery, crockery, cooktops, bbq etc so you have the ability to cook all your meals there if required. The motel has a laneway that leads out to the main road of shops and eateries. There is a Subway out front, a club and taverns and an IGA within 100m.

There was a bit of noise from foot traffic but that was mainly due to the location of our room.

The motel has a great location - very quiet but close to the main street/highway. We had a great counter meal at the Federal Hotel across the street and breakfast from the bakery nearby, all within a couple of minutes walk. We enjoyed watching Netflix in the motel room and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the town after dinner, looking at the charming historic buildings and beautiful trees that were lit up.

The bathroom lacked bench and adequate hanging space for 3 adults, but was otherwise clean and modern.

Located in the heart of Childers and so is very close to shops, cafes and pubs etc. Motel is off the main road and is very quiet. Off street car parking at the rear. Short walk down a laneway to access the main street. All amenities were excellent.

Only issue would be no undercover parking, which is definitely preferable in storm season.
