Friendly welcome at reception. The unit was large and we had two bedrooms. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we could park outside the room. There was a table with chairs but no sofa. We stayed there twice and would stay there again.

The walls are thin so we could hear everything. We lived through a night of coughing and vomiting by the poor man next door. Our handbasin soap dispenser drained completely during the night so spent ages mopping it up in the morning.

Well maintained property . Great room , has microwave , fridge , a/c and is of good size . Room was clean Has a kitchen and laundry ( with reasonable price to wash and dry clothes . Friendly staff . Main office has wine and snacks . Near a roadhouse for other snacks .

Access can be a bit tricky due to site being on a hill and Bruce Highway . But no complaints on value or service .

Was just an overnight stay so we could get up early (for us!) and take the kids to the Reptile Park. We have stayed overnight before to break up our trips, and I am sure they have upgraded since we last stayed. Either that or we lucked out and got newer rooms!

Staff did not understand rules around Support Dogs. I understand they had a bad experience in the past, with someone claiming their dog was a support animal, and it obviously wasn’t considering the damage it did. So I do get their hesitation. But further research on their part to educate themselves would go a long way. Once they understood that the dog we had was actually registered, and was very well behaved, and never left his stroller when in the room, they were much more accommodating.

Clean, comfortable, nice bathroom, spacious. I liked the seperate dining table and chairs. Friendly, welcoming staff. Good air con. Nice pool. Beautiful views behind the motel and grassy areas around. Shared kitchen if you want to cook your own meals too which is great.

A bit of highway noise but that’s the usual for motels. Otherwise everything spot on.

Everything clean and neat. Nothing was too much trouble, very accommodating for our family travelling with young children. We were happily surprised they had smart TV so we could entertain the kids with YouTube while we got dinner sorted. Very comfortable beds, I slept very well

We missed the turn for it at first: you have to turn on to butchers Rd to access the motel driveway, it doesn't connect directly to the highway.

The owners and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great being just before the township of Childers. The area was very quiet and pleasant. No trouble from other guests or from the smell of cigarette smoke that sometimes is an issue at other places we've stayed at. The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable.

Would have been nice if the plates and cutlery were in the actual room, but not a big deal. Otherwise all good.

We always stay here when we pass thru Childers. Such nice people. The rooms are spacious the beds comfortable and nice showers. The pool is easy to access and if you want to stretch your legs it’s about 15 mins into the town. There is a communal kitchen and laundry for guests to use.

Nothing the place is lovely

Lovely staff! Great location and comfy beds. The facilities are great too. They have a washer and dryer on site and plenty of parking space. The rooms are simple and comfortable. It looks like the bathrooms have recently been renovated, they look great.

No complaints. I think this must be the best place in Childers. I’ve stayed here a couple times now and I imagine that I’ll be back.

Big hot shower. Microwave, fridge and tea/ coffee in room. A great communal kitchen it you want to cook and a large freezer and also all the cutlery and crockery you may need. Comfortable bed and pillows. Wine, beer, noodles and chips etc available at reception. On the outskirts of Childers, so away from the noise, but a pleasant 15 minute walk back to the centre of town.

When travelling through this region and I need to stop overnight this is my motel of choice. Good clean facility with easy access off the Bruce highway on the southern outskirts of town. It is away from the main shopping area of Childers but easily accessed by private vehicle. Even with proximity to main highway any traffic noise does not present a problem at night for sleeping comfort.

Sometimes difficult to find a vacancy but this could be seasonal.
