Breakfast is the best part of being here. They provide lots of different breads, meats, cheeses, two types of fish, as well as the option to have eggs in one form or another and with bacon. There is also a jar of melon pieces each, a type of yoghurt drink, and for the sweet toothed, 3 small different chocolates fulled with a type of cream. I am Coeliac, and I also get properly catered for. We did stay at a 4 star hotel in Saarlouis, but their gluten-free bread was terrible; you also had to serve yourself, unlike here. The Guesthouse is out in the countryside, so it is much safer than being in a city, and it gives you a chance for a country walk. This trip was the 3rd time we had been here, and the 2nd time this year. We love coming here.

This is the second time we have been there, and it didn't disappoint. The guest house is out in the countryside, so it gives you a chance to experience a different and tranquil environment to that in England. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and they provide you with a bottle of water, towels, hair and body shampoo, and a hairdryer. Breakfast is provided in a restaurant at a different location, so you have 200-300 yard walk to get there, which is pleasant on a sunny day. Breakfast is amazing. You can have boiled, scrambled or fried egg, the latter two with bacon. Then there are cold meats, cheeses, tomatoes with mozzarella cheeses, salmon, a melon and grape cocktail, a liquid yoghurt type drink, as well as fruit juice, coffee and different forms of bread buns. I am Coeliac, so they provided me with 3 different types of bread and sweet slices of cake. Nearly forgot, 3 small white, milk and dark chocolates with a cream filling and also marble cake. The staff are very helpful, friendly and obliging.

Great location for exploring surrounding area and Koblenz. Room was bit basic but clean and bed super comfy and nice modern bathroom. Parking fine, right in front of the building and breakfast excellent. Also kitchen with free tea, coffee ,biscuits etc.

Arrival was strange, there is nobody there and no reception. There is a number to ring, but they didn't speak English. We found out from another guest where to get our key and how to check out. Also found out from another guest about the kitchen and other facilities where to find the place for breakfast, which is quite a way from the building at the lindehof saye restaurant down the road.(which is really nice)... in fact if you struggle on arrival go to the restaurant they should be able to provide the details.... some details of this would be a benefit before arrival.... saying all that, now we know the procedure we would definitely stay again.....

Beautiful location, very peaceful and green. I could have stayed a few more days and enjoyed the area. Breakfast was very good. Big new Samsung TV, nice! Beds were comfy, and there was an extra separate room for kids. The view from the big windows in the room was beautiful.

Breakfast is in another place around 200 metres from the hotel. It took me a while to find it, but I managed. The good thing is that those 200 metres are very pretty and crossed a beautiful river over a medieval bridge. Very enjoyable. It would have been nice to have instructions to find the key beforehand, but I enjoyed the mystery and was able to find the secret spot where the key was waiting for me.

- No staff. No information for check in & how to get breakfast even I asked to send the details in advance. I have to take a look by myself in other guest comments and we are lucky to met another guest when we arrived so they told us where to get the key. - The mattress and pillows is not suitable for people with allergies

This place is out in the country, so you have the opportunity to go for a walk and see a different countryside to England. The breakfast is marvellous, lots of choice. They also provided Gluten Free bread, as I'm Coeliac. They offered a boiled egg or fried egg which you could have with bacon. I opted for fried eggs with bacon and got 2 eggs with bacon, which was really well presented. There were 3 or 4 different types of meat, salmon, cheese, fresh fruit in a glass per person, a liquid type of yoghurt in a glass per person and two jams. The staff serving breakfast were friendly and helpful.

The one thing that might be inconvenient when it is raining is that you have to walk to another building for breakfast, about 500 yards away. I didn't mind walking there in the sunshine. Breakfast is only between 8am and 10am, so a bit restrictive.

It was a little bit complicated getting into this place because you first have to go to the reception which was based in a restaurant to get the keys then come back to the Abbey. However the accommodation in the Abbey was great because the rooms were absolutely enormous and the grounds around the Abbey were fabulous and of course the parking was free. The breakfast the next morning in the restaurant was probably the best we had in our entire trip.

The room could do with a mini bar fridge

Very spacious suit room with a separate room for kids. They have toys and books. Very beautiful area and surroundings. Forest, green, climbing place in the forest right behind the hotel. Comfortable parking. We arrived a little earlier checkin time. There is a phone on the door that you can call. A nice lady on the phone arrived in 5 min. Explained and showed everything. Breakfast place is super close. Nice walk of 3 min. In a beautiful place too, along a stream in the forestry area.

Could be nice to have a mini fridge. Also, in order to get to the bathroom you have to pass kids’ room. If they sleep well despite noises, then it’s doable. Otherwise, you’ll wake them up as the light switcher is also outside the bathroom.

Very frendly personal. Room and Washroom vas clean and enought big for two persons. Temperature in the room was confortable 22 degres ,NOT to Hot. Breakfast was tasty and also for people that are hungry in the morning enought. Hotel is Pet friendly and the price for Dog 9€ is akceptable,fair price. Location is top for valking,cycling.....

Please change mattress on the bed. I fell to the bottom because it is so soft. I didn't sleep well at night.

We had a five minute walk to breakfast - a restaurant near the abbey. The breakfast was stunning in presentation and taste. We had tiramisu for desert (at breakfast!) along with some kind of white, milk and dark chocolate treats. Only in Europe!
