We really like the location and really friendly stuff who are trying to feel you really comfortable. Very recommended for families as place is clean and has a great pool area and surrounding.

The only thing that we would “upgrade” Is breakfast. It was still delicious but we stayed 6 nights and having same breakfast menu all the time. Would suggest to include more fruit, variations of yogurt and a couple of different choices of milk.

Loved the tranquility. A beautifully styled Masseria. The staff were all so attentive and kind. The location was very good with access to nearby places of interest. The breakfasts were so good with plenty of choice and home made produce. Lots of books ..per tutto, great. Grazie a tutti and I hope the arrival of your baby will be safe and swift but, not too soon! Nothing to be negative about, perhaps a slightly more comfortable chair in the room..but..there were plenty of comfortable sofas in all the public spaces.

Beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The staff were fabulous, very attentive. We ate there the first night and that was great. Easy parking no fees. It was easy to get to Matera Sassi from there only 10 mins drive. We did find getting there tricky as google maps didn’t pick the address up so we used maps instead via booking.com. Would’ve liked to have stayed longer and used their facilities but didn’t have time

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Annalisa! She explained everything, answered all of my questions, and even walked around to check in with all the guests on several occasions. She was overall a very friendly hostess! The pool area is fantastic after a day of exploring or for a full day of rest on a longer trip. They offer drink service at the pool which is a real treat! My room also had a terrace where I could lounge and have my own drinks and snacks within walking distance to the pool. Wifi was strong throughout the property, which is not always standard in such a remote location, so bonus points for that! The maids were flexible and always confirmed when the best time would be to clean the room. Very friendly ladies always greeting the guests! If you are staying in the satellite building by the pool, you can park in the lot right next to the side entrance so you are not walking on pebbles with your luggage - a nice thoughtful, gesture. Lastly, it is very accessible to the city of Matera (only 10 minutes drive) or the beaches of Metaponto (1 hour with traffic, shorter if no traffic) It goes without saying you need your own car to stay here.

My only suggestion is to put up a more visible sign as to where to check in upon arrival - I followed the sign to the main building and tried multiple doors before contacting Annalisa, who answered me immediately and came out to find me. I'd put up a little sign directing people to go around into the courtyard. Otherwise, I have no complaints, everything was fantastic - I will be back!

Wonderful place, great location, beautiful area surrounding it, very peaceful. Very comfortable room, spacious and comfortable. Great breakfast and dinner, even prepared dishes to our request. And most of all the staff and service. The best possible, both reception and restaurant. Highly recommended.

Lovely Masseria with great views of the countryside. We had a large refurbished room with a beautiful little garden. Good value for money and ideally situated to visit Matera.

The restaurant lacked ambience as hardly anyone ate there, despite the food being of a high standard.

Junior suite room was outstanding. Staff super helpful. Beautiful views and very clean. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Marvelous Hotel!!! One of my unique and bucolic experience in my entire life! You feel like a real “Don” in a Italian Villa. The room and bed are very comfortable. The air conditioner is on the perfect perfect tenperature. Cleaniless is King. Breakfast suberb and the view is unforgetable. Everything is great on this Hotel! Worth every penny of it!

Th location of the Hotel is countryside. No problem about that. In fact, that is the charm of the Hotel. The only problem is, if you dont have a good gps, it is possible to have trouble to find it, since there is no signs.

This is such a spectacular property set a few kms from Matera. The staff are total pros, service was impeccable and the environment so so relaxing. Pool is totally dreamy. A special nod to the chef - dinner was exquisite and inventive which was a welcomed change to the the standard fare of the region.

Loved everything

We visited Matera as part of a road trip along Amalfi and around Puglia. This was one of my favourite hotels and one night wasn’t long enough! The rooms are very well done, the setting is stunning, the pool is lovely, and breakfast was great. A very very peaceful and rustic luxury-feeling stay that offered great value for money!

It’s worth noting that the hotel, being a farmhouse, isn’t that close to Matera and you will require a car.
