I really enjoyed my stay, very well located in one of the best beaches around Mombasa, Bamburi beach. The hotel is very basic, you get what you pay for. Only two rooms ( apartments) have sea view all the others are facing the entrance or the way to the pool or a roof ( my case). Breakfast can be better and the staff are great.Rooms are outdated but comfortable.

My view from the balcony, really sad to have such a view ( if you call a roof and garbage around for a view( see photo) at least they could have give me another room with a more decent view. I really think they should clean the area. I understand if the hotel is full, one gets what is available but at least make it decent.

After living in Makupa with no AC or hot water, this property was luxury to me. Very clean, comfortable, private beach, security, decent breakfast, cheap wine and friendly staff plus sweet cat and cheeky monkeys. Reliable driver, although he does charge more than bolt, however his personality makes up for that.

The tide goes way out during the afternoon and in the evening comes back in cutting the beach off completely meaning to get to the other restaurants you have to walk along highway or use tuk tuk. Constant hassle from beach boys who don’t give you any piece. However these are not the hotels issue, but good to know

Really enjoyed my time in this little hotel right infront of the beach. It felt like home, really comfortable. Generous continental breakfast with some African dishes. Very family friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff very professional and helpful. You could also order for something to eat for lunch and dinner at very affordable prices without the need for leaving the premises. Like it's amazing to be enjoying frontline beach access, good food and accomodation on a budget and right next to high-end hotel complexes. The shower pressure is pretty high too.

Nothing. Just a design modification suggestion. The shower floor should be limited in such a way that water doesn't flow over to the toilet area as it's not really nice walking on wet floor to use the toilet and someone could slip and fall and hurt themselves.

Right we’ve seen the other reviews who were complaining about the water being salty, but that’s completely bogus. Sure you would get a hint of the water from the shower being a little salty, but I’d compare it more towards like chlorine rather than pure salty taste. It’s not like there’s water flowing from the ocean…So yeah that’s just to clear up some of the other reviews and apart from that this place is definitely worth the stay. The place is really cool, staff is super friendly and the food was also great. 100% recommend to stay here.

The only thing that was a bit unconventional was the smell of the room, since there’s monkeys all around the place and you could for sure smell them when you enter the room, but it’s nothing you can’t get used to, just start up the AC and open the balcony respectivelly and the smell was gone.

Loved the friendly and enthiastic staff of all areas Reception, restaurant, poolside and security. All very professional and helpful. The fully functioning air conditioning was a tremendous boon in the room it made life comfortable at night and meant I never heard or felt a mosquito. Breakfast was very comprehensive with a choice of eggs to order.

My room although always clean and tidy was a little tired in some parts with broken whicker furniture, a shower held together with plumbers tape and a window that opened directly onto another hotels walkway. So no view. The music around the pool area in the afternoons was often very loud and not a subtle background melody! Maybe they should turn it up in the evenings.

The food is amazing. The staff is fantastic.

The TV is too small and no do not disturb signs.

A decent accommodation by the sea. Life and activity revolved around the pool area at this place—dancing, singing, chilling, eating, and a lively atmosphere, all of which made the stay very enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and this hotel was one of the few among our nine stops that had a television with various channels. It’s not common to find TVs in Kenyan hotels, so it was a nice change to watch some European football. The breakfast was delicious, featuring international dishes alongside local options, fresh fruits, and juices. The staff, as is typical in Kenya, were very friendly and welcoming.

The best property I ever stayed in Mombasa. Great service, exceptional location and good value for money. The food was superb, especially breakfast! I can’t forget the tasty Samosas too! Simply intoxicating. Keep up the good standards and I look forward to being back sometime soon.

Honestly, the T-bone steak was poorly done. It was too grilled to turn the meat into a wood-like hard stuff! And over-salted! Notwithstanding, the chef was great at making nearly all the dishes we tasted. My honest complements.

I loved the location. You are right at the beach. The pool is clean. And there is someone to open the gate to the beach and back.The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are amazing! very professional and friendly. I also loved the variety of breakfast menus. It is cattered to different people, always something new and local. Other than breakfast, all their food have to be ordered and cooked. I loved that I could call and place my order while I'm still on errands, and the food would be ready on arrival.

Great location - right on the beach. Staff was friendly, helpful and provided good service. We loved the pool. The hotel wasn't too busy so there were lots of places to lounge. The breakfast is fantastic, great variety. We also had dinner at the restaurant one evening which was also good and decent prices. The hotel provides new bottled water each day. You will enjoy your stay here.

Hot water for a shower was lacking. Some more utensils in the room would be nice. But I'm sure if we had asked we would have been able to get some.
