Beautiful place! The location is great, very secluded and relaxing surrounding. Rooms were clean with amazing view of the Hoa Binh lake. Staff were nice and always helpful.

We would give 10/10 if the food was good. Unfortunately this has been so far our worst food we have ever had in Vietnam. Tasteless and expensive. It's a pitty downgrade of such a nice place… :-(

I absolutely loved my stay at this resort! It’s the perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and quiet, far from the noise of the city. The secluded location offers total relaxation, with only the occasional ferry passing by—but the sound is brief and doesn’t take away from the serene atmosphere. The views of the lake are simply breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure everything was perfect. On top of that, the restaurant served tasty food (8/10) for lunch and dinner menus. We did not need to find any dinning place outside of the resort during the 2 days we spent there. However, breakfast was just at average level. A special mention to Dinh Thi Linh, who we encountered at the restaurant—such a responsible and friendly staff member, ensuring everything was just right. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with stunning scenery, excellent service, and great food, I highly recommend this resort!

The hotel is in a beautiful environment, overall very clean and well kept with stunning gardens. The food off the paid menu was very tasty and they have a mix of Asian and Western options. The views on a clear day are STUNNING.

This property is not in Mai Chau village, it’s a 1/2 hour drive away and the taxis are expensive. Dont stay here unless you are happy to hire a scooter. The breakfast was limited down due to the hotel being quiet, on the first day we arrived it was a full buffet and then from day 2 onwards it changed to eggs on toast or soup. The pool had algae on the infinity side which is difficult to access due to being a ledge so you could tell it was not cleaned.

We loved our 3 day stay here. For four star at this price it is pretty good. Nice rooms and comfy bed. The pool and views were lush, the pool bar could be tendered a bit more but no worries. Massage is good, food and buffet breakfast is tasty and the staff are really lovely.

Bit out of the way so will need a taxi but it is worth it You only get 1 small bottle each of water free in room per day, so possibly bring loads of water if you don't want to pay. If there was free water and we missed it, my bad

It was relaxing and peaceful ishThe room was lovely and the view over the lake was marvellous. The shower was amazing. Also it was the only place that provided helmets for cycling.The pool was a delight. I think it may have reached 20m in length so you could properly swim.

You do get the noise from the boats just next door early in the morning but then again that does make them very convenient for trips. The food is very expensive by Vietnamese standards but still cheaper than the UK. Our main problem was that there wasn't much you could do independently as the brakes on the bikes were poor and it's an 'undulating' area. Walking wasn't really an option unless you went along the roads. However if you just want to relax and make the most of the resort's activities then that would be fine. Having just come from the beautiful Pu Luong we really couldn't appreciate Mai chow as much as we would otherwise have done.

Tge location of this place is very unique. I have stayed with many hotel by the lake, but it is very different when your hotel is on the hill surrounded by the lake. The windflow and the energy of this place is amazing. You don't need to go anywhere, the hotel itself can be the destination. The place also feel old school in the very best way, reminding me of memories when I was young.

The Food, Expensive and does not taste good. Besides, the food at the hotel is the only option you have as there is nothing around.

Waking up to the view every morning is just spectacular! The staff were attentive to our every need. Beds were super comfortable, I thought food prices were fair and every meal was delicious. The hotel was able to get me a motorbike and we drove 40 miles over 3 days visiting around the resort, roads were easy and the local folks were wonderful! The pool was the perfect temp and has the same incredible views!

There’s a pool bar but no one there. It would be nice to offer some coolers with at least cold water available

Excellent views and location. Food and breakfast was good. Room big and clean. Didn't use pool as winter but looked nice. Staff great. We did tour on lake and got private transfers from Hanoi. Driver and service very nice. A bit out from Mai Chau but easy transfer into the valley with worth the quiet and views staying on the lake.

The property was almost deserted so was extremely quiet. The food for dinner and breakfast was wonderful and worth the price. We stayed in Bungalow 120 beside the pool and had this mostly to ourselves. It may be noisy/ busy during peak times but during the off season was wonderful and quiet.

There were mosquitos around in the evening and no mosquito net or flyscreens. A net over the bed would be a great addition as being directly on the water and not being able to open the windows to get the breeze was a shame.

Well maintained and beautifully located little hotel resort. Pool at the lakefront. Rooms modern and spacious. Breakfast enough buffet choices and dinner OK to tasty (had whole grilled chicken which was really good. Lunch less to our liking. So hit and miss).

Far away from anything but that is what you get being inmediately at the lake. There was a dance at night which was not advertised by staff so that could be improved. No drinks or towels or toilet at the pool which should be reconsidered.
