Everything! We were on the fourth floor, and the view across the rice fields and mountains was fantastic! The room was bright and spacious. The balcony had seating. Our host was very helpful and funny . He booked us a taxi to see the hot springs and floating house. We also enjoyed walks around the rice fields and the villages close by There is a cafe upstairs, the coffee is lovely and the lady who works there is very good at her job, very professional. Accross the road, they have a cafe connected to the hotel, where they sell baked goods, smoothies, excellent Banh Mi's and also have spaguetti and pizza. We ate at the hotel 4 times, 3 times we had meals from their traditional vietnamese menu, and everything was phenomenal, some of the best flavours I've tasted in Vietnam. I particularly liked the lemon grass chicken and the peppered pork. The banana flower salad was definitely the best I've tasted in Vietnam. I also enjoyed the spring rolls. The fish sauce dip was exceptional. I enjoyed pho for breakfast, too, and the poached eggs were excellently made. Thank you for an amazing stay

We had fabulous views from our fourth (the top ) floor room over the rice fields . In fact all rooms have this view . Lovely breakfast and the family who run the hotel headed by Duong are so nice and friendly and helpful . We rented bikes and Duong gave us a map and suggested ways to go. He also organised a driver to take us on a drive around the country side , went to the viewpoint overlooking Mai Chau, drove through villages and saw a magnificent lake and waterfall . Swimming at the base of the waterfall was so refreshing . Mai Chau is such a beautiful place to visit .

This hotel is located in the middle of several rice fields and the views are fantastic! I've been here 3 different times and I am always thrilled at the beauty of the area and the great walking 'tracks'. The local people sell their handicrafts in the small nearby village (a short walk from the hotel). Each morning I have coffee on my balcony and watch the local people (right below me), tending to their rice fields. It is an unforgettable experience. The rooms are large, with excellent beds and menus for breakfast have many choices. I don't think you will ever find a better deal than this small family run hotel.

I highly recommend! This place is lovely, just like Mai Chau itself. The entire staff, including the owner, take care of you and make sure you have everything you need. You can rent bikes and the owner will give you recommendations on what to visit. The room was very clean, I really appreciate it <3 And what a view from the balcony!!!! The breakfast is very tasty.

Spacious room with fridge and lovely view, many breakfast options, perfect location in the Mai Chau valley. You can rent bikes for a very fair price and they are in excellent condition! Did a very scenic 45km loop on the rented mountain bike. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Shower pressure was very poor on the third floorland air on a bit noisy but overall these are very minor issues. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at Mai Chau Valley View hotel. The room and bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast served was supberb with a great choice of food and lot's of it. We ate here every night and the food was freshly cooked each evening. I had the best fried vegetable spring rolls in the whole of Vietnam, they were delicious! Mr Dong and Thai were fantastic hosts and we enjoyed talking to them in the evening. Their english is excellent. We hired motorblikes from Thai and went on some great trips. It was just a shame that the weater wasn't brilliant. Mai Chau is a lovely area to stay in to enjoy the scenery.

It's not a negative but the bathroom was a little tired for us.

Friendly, laid back place, overlooking the fields. The whole area seemed really quiet in mid January. Few tourists and lots of home stays and restaurants seemed closed. This accommodation was straightforward, as described, everything worked without fuss, breakfast was simple and good. Upstairs there is a cafe run by the same family that was great too.

The road is a bit loud but quieter at night and there was no problem for me to sleep!

Stayed here for 2 nights and are welcomed by the owner Jun! The room was clean with exceptional view of the fields which we really enjoyed. The breakfast served as part of the stay was also good and fresh! I liked that they also offer bikes for rent so you can explore Mai Chau at your own pace

The owner was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The bed was huge and the air conditioning, refrigerator, and bathroom facilities worked flawlessly.

We knew the hotel was located on a busy street, so this was not a flaw for us and our room was quiet. The hotel was close to in-town amenities. Some travelers may want a more rural setting, but the convenience of the hotel worked well for us.

Small well run family hotel. Located on the edge of Mai Chau overlooking the paddy fields. Great breakfast prepared based on your order from an extensive selection (not Bain-Marie style like big hotels) Can offer meals, bicycles, motor bikes, guide services etc, transport too and from, laundry etc Nothing is too much trouble. Owner’s family still lives in local villages, he has good English skills and is able to provide insights into life in the area and suggest local & distant attractions to visit. Was nominated by others we travelled with as the best hotel we have stayed at during 3 weeks of travel in Vietnam. We also thought it was excellent.
