The staff was wonderful and helped with everything. The rooms are designed very beautifully and authentically with stunning views of the rice fields. Breakfast was delicious with a decent variety. This is a quiet rural area that is not yet flooded with tourists like many other places in Vietnam.

This means there aren't many places to eat in the surrounding area...

The ecolodge is located in a quiet valley, surrounded by paddy fields and misty hills - quite beautiful. The accommodation comprises of the central hub with restaurant and bar area, and a series of lodges built into the hillside around a number of ponds and bathing pools, all surrounded by lush gardens. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good sized en suite shower room. The breakfast was very pleasant - homemade jams and banana cake, an egg station producing omelette or scrambled egg on request, alongside a wide range of fruits and Asian foods. We also enjoyed one of our best meals from our time in Vietnam whilst at the lodge, which was local fried river fish with fresh greens. We asked the staff at the lodge (all of whom were very friendly and helpful) to arrange for a local guide to take us for a day's walk to a remote jungle village and the nearby vast bat caves, which we thoroughly enjoyed - our guide spoke good English and was able to give us a lot of information about the area and its people. The lodge also provided bikes for our use (no charge), which allowed us to explore the nearby villages. All in all, this was a beautiful place to spend a few days in the hills and provided excellent value for money. We would stay here again if we were to return to the area.

Nothing really - but I've made a couple of comments just to help other travelers' expectations. There wasn't a TV in our room, but we did not need one and it wasn't an issue for us. We stayed at the lodge at the end of January, and the weather was mixed - quite cold in the evenings, low mist/light drizzle in the mornings, but brighter during the day - and we certainly needed fleeces and/or down jackets on when eating our meals at the lodge as the food area is not a heated space. The local food specialties are fish and pork - both of which are excellent, and available in many different dishes at the lodge's restaurant but it should perhaps be noted that there isn't quite the range/choice if you are a strict vegetarian.

Fantastic and quiet lodge with a great pool and view. Breakfast is complete and very good and the restaurant is really nice. Rooms are large and super clean and service is excellent. We stayed 5 nights and would have liked to be able to stay longer! The tours that are proposed are well organized and very interesting.

If you are interested in renting a motorbike, don't use the place in front of the lodge. Walk 200 meters to the right and rent from there, their service, motorbikes and prices are better.

The swimming pools at jungle lodge are amazing- there are two, one shaded in a grove and one with a fantastic view! Both kids and adults absolutely loved them. The linked triple rooms have great views of the mountains and rice paddies (small recommendation to the property to trim the roofing leaf for even better views). The restaurant is great, delicious food reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are huge and clean. The location is beautiful, one thing to note fellow travellers is that the sights (like the waterfall) are all a moped/car ride away (you can’t bicycle there). We cycled to Don village on the complementary bikes but it was a very steep return ride! Every sensible person rides a moped :) We enjoyed a fantastic massage/herbal soak at the spa place linked to Jungle Lodge. All in all we had brilliant stay. Pu Luong is stunningly beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Pu Luong Jungle Lodge. The lodge is surrounded by stunning rice fields and peaceful nature. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Some staffs did not speak english but they were very helpful and warm welcome. The room was clean, comfortable bed, large bed and nice balcony with view. The restaurant was ok with many local dishes. We also loved the pool, very very clean compared to others in the area (we stayed 1 night at other hotel and the pool was too dirty, not beautiful as they shown in pictures) but Jungle Lodge's pool is amazing. It's a pity that we only stayed here for 1 night. I really wish we had spent our whole holiday there. Definitely a place I would love to come back! Highly recommended!

We stayed one night at Pu Luong Jungle Lodge and really loved it! The road to get there was easy and the place is surrounded by beautiful rice fields and terraces. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with no mosquitoes at all, which was a great surprise. The pools are very nice and well maintained, perfect for relaxing with the view of the mountains. The lodge is close to sightseeing areas, so it’s easy to explore around. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. In the evening, we had the chance to watch a band of local ethnic people performing traditional dances and music. This is a truly special cultural experience. A perfect peaceful escape in nature. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The breakfast was a bit simple, the owner is great at estimating based on the number of the current customers. So basically it’s not a waste of food tbh 🤷‍♀️

Where do I start?? Location is 15/10, or more! So gorgeous and clean. Well-kept buildings, two gorgeous pools, a great restaurant, and very nice rooms - all connected by beautiful jungle paths. Ours had an INCREDIBLE view and felt private while still close to everything. The staff were all very kind, patient, and helpful! A few speak English and from the moment of booking they answered all my questions, informed us of local tours, helped us rent a motorbike, suggested spas & restaurants, and generally made sure we had a great time! They just charge everything to your room, so convenient. There was even a nice traditional performance during dinner on Saturday night!

Really nothing! Any small stuff that came up was quickly resolved by the attentive staff. They were making some repairs, but it did not affect our stay and barely disrupted the peace.

Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. The tour they organised was great. They organised transfer for us to other locations, accommodating us even after our flight was changed to a later time. Laundry service. Refill station for water. Great views.

Challenging for those with mobility issues i.e. uneven and slippery steps, steepish driveway. There are a couple of dogs on the property so you need to avoid the dog poo. Food was ok, not as good as we hoped.

Location is beautiful. Room was lovely, spacious, and super clean. The whole property is set in a gorgeous setting.

Very noisy. between the construction staring at 06:30, the kids in the pool at 05:00, and large tour groups, if you’re looking for quiet, not the best option. Not enough seating near the pool. Very little of the staff know English properly, so if you need anything, double check they actually understood you.

Very nice lodge in a beautiful setting. The swimming pool area is great. The Pu Luong area is remote and beautiful, and the local "black Thai" people (this is how they call themselves) are very friendly. The hotel offers various tours, including some interesting tours to Thai villages. The manager upgraded us to a larger room at no cost. Overall, this is good value for the money.

As others have mentioned, the food at the restaurant could be better. A few places are within walking /scooter distance, including the excellent "0km" restaurant. The tours are quite pricey, and the guides do not speak English, although Google Translate made this work ok.
