Fantastic location! It's a pretty quiet place, which was perfect for us. The hotel has excellent staff that are service-minded and always helpful and an excellent restaurant with affordable prices. It's great possibilities to get around to both Platanias, Gerani and off course Chania for those who wants more noise. The rooms are nice and clean with big sizes. The garden areas are beautiful and well groomed. Always available sunbeds, both in the beach and around the pool. The beach has sand, and some places near with pebbles, which makes it perfect for both swimming and snorkeling. Even though there weren't to many kids of our daughters age, we found plenty of kids her age in the hotels nearby. We had a superb vacation!

The pillows were a bit hard, and the mattress of the extra beds were also a bit hard. But hey, that's not so much to complain about.

Quiet hotel, nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, close to the beach, perfect for families. If you have a car, the hotel has good position to start you trips to western Krete. There is a sandy beach which is used by turtles to lay eggs. During august you may be lucky to see the young ones to hatch from the eggs. We have seen one. :-)

The last turn to the hotel could be marked better, you can easily miss it. Also a mirror to see the cars on the main street would be helpful.

The breakfast was excellent, we spent here 8 nights and every single morning the breakfast was a little bit different. We loved it! Beds were also perfect for us, not too soft as in many other hotels. The staff was welcoming and always ready to help. The Beach was next to the hotel. One of the best hotels we have ever been in!

The location was a little bit far from restaurants and shops, but that's the cost of quietness that we were looking for. It's still so close to Platanias and Maleme that our 5 years old kid walked those trips daily without complaining.

Everything was perfect! What a lovely family, they were so welcoming and friendly! It was a two floor apartment studios. We got the first floor view to the beach. The room was spacious, wardrobe had enough hangers, and there was a big space. The kitchen was well equipped. You can easily cook here, and have all the necessary kitchen tools. It was a really quiet place, you can enjoy your view on the balcony. The restaurant on the resort was so good. Breakfast was included in our booking. Delicious 😋 have many offerings! We had a Moussaka there and it was well cooked, also mango juice 🥤 was great. It has a private clean beach ⛱️ Sunbeds are enough for everyone, cool atmosphere. It's a great spot for a family. They got a pool as well, deep and shallow. We checked out earlier in the morning, and they gave us breakfast to eat later 🩵 They cleaned the room every other day. The location was excellent 👌🏻 it has supermarket in 5 min distance and lots of restaurants in walking distance. If we come again to Crete - Chania, we will stay here 🥰 Loves

If you are looking for one of those small and cosy hotels right on the beach a bit outside of the city, where the staff is more like a family, you don't have to compete with other guests about reserving a sunbed with towel, have real orange juice at breakfast - this is it. We had a really nice 2-week long holiday with our family and had the best time. It is also worth mentioning, that the food tastes so good! Besides the menu they have a daily special and we didn't have anything that we didn't love.

We had wonderful time staying in Caretta Beach Hotel. Nice and comfortable room, pool anytime and chill on the beach. You can eat dinner after swimming and take a shower at the beach after swiming in the sea. Early in the morning you can enjoy sunset at the beach. Very nice staff. We will definitely come here next time.

The hotel is placed next to the nice private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas, it has a nice pool, the rooms are very clean, the personel is very helpful and kind, they take care about their guests a lot, the food is very tasty and in reasonable price, there are many markets and different restaurations nearby.

In a very nice environ a well maintened hotel with a friendly and smileable staff. We loved the brekfast with the fresh pastry and plenty of choice. In the hotel we had everything we needed to relax: pool, sun beds, pool bar, proximity of the Sea, umbrellas.

The hotel is situated directly on the beach and has it's own umbrellas and sun beds. The sand and water are great. The staff was very accommodating and helped us rent a car without any hassle and at a great price as well. The house keeping was regular and good.

Can't really think of anything...

The first and most important - here I’ve me the nicest staff ever (thank you Thea, Katerina and everyone). Rooms (Ive lived in 2) are nicer (renovated) than on photos. Food can be delivered to the beach or a room, very delicious grill food, and especially sea food. Few words the beach is a turtle beach, so we have seen a lot of new-born (dozen) turtles!

Second floor apartment was more silent and comfortable, but that’s nitpicking.
