Well located in sun moon lake , you get to have a nice night market right outside. You have plenty of places to rent bikes from. The staff is great although their English is VERY limited.

The facilities seems a bit dated. We could hear a baby crying every evening from next door that was quiet annoying to be honest, so yeah not the best soundproofed place. The location for sun moon lake is great but annoying to get from and to Taichung. You have to take a bus that get you to sun moon lake , then another bus to go around the lake to the BNB. Which is very tiring especially if you came from Taipei before that.

Lovely boutique hotel with a different theme for each room. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Large collection of board games and books at reception that can be borrowed. Elevator made transporting luggage easy.

Breakfast was set menu (western style) and although it was tasty there was no option to choose. Music played in the corridor can be heard inside the room.

Staff couldn’t be nicer - although they did not speak much english, this was nothing google translator couldn’t handle and they were super kind all along. The breakfast in their well groomed dining area is something. The food and the ambience are as if you are within an animation. Although the rooms face the street, the village is dead quiet at night. It is within walking distance from the funicular leading to the native village.

Some minor nitpicks: The curtain didn’t completely shut to darkness. The bidet made some whirring noise during the night.

- The staff is very helpful and nice. - The breakfast was good. - Very close you have a supermarket and a laundry option. - The room was big and everything I needed was there.

- I didn't know, how hard it is to reach this little "town". Ita Chao is only reachable by own car, one bus (that only drives a few times a day) or a ferry. Be aware. :)

Comfortable, clean and modernised with a homely feeling. The room had nice decorations. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Toilet has shower and bath tub. The breakfast toast set served was very delicious. Highly recommended if you are looking for B&B!

The room I was in doesn’t have any nice view. But it’s ok for the price and comfort.

The host & staff are very friendly & helpful. The room & bathroom are modern, clean & well-designed. The location is very convenient as it’s walking distance to all major attractions & the main streets.

Although the host tried to accommodate the request, the varieties were limited. The foyer & the front area may need some upgrade to match their well-appointed rooms.

Staffs are all nice and the location is super convenient. The room is comfortable and also has Netflix to watch.

Since I'm a foreigner and I couldn't understand Chinese, the staff tried their best to explain about the hotel and places nearby, but still a little bit hard to understand them.

Everything about this B&B was excellent. It was one street off from the central street so wonderful access but quiet. The facilities were so well though out with nothing lacking. The staff, though you could tell were a family, were so professional and warm. The stay really exceeded my family's expectations and was the best of the places we stayed at.

The location was great - it’s near to Ita Shao pier and to the old street where all the action is at. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We had a view of the lake which was really nice. Breakfast was really hearty and delicious! There are also board/card games that you can borrow from the reception.

I booked 2 rooms, 1 4-bedded and 1 2-bedded, The 4-bedded room was spacious and has a rocking chair and bath tub. My sons love the room a lot. The host was very accommodating when they found out we need to leave the next morning. Breakfast was simple but nice. Regretted that we did not take any pictures of the rooms.

The only difficulty is the lack of wardrobe or sufficient hangers.
