The hotel is beautiful and quirky. The owners are artists and collectors so it's stuffed with interesting object d'art. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were fine. Ours had a sit bath which was unusual but functional, there was plenty of hot water. Our rooms had a partial lake view. The rooms were well equipped with a fridge, kettle and TV. The beds were really hard and I was worried at first, but they were really comfortable. There were tables inside and in the garden - we bought takeaway breakfast and snacks and it was nice to be able to sit together as a family. It was close to all the street food and lake activities.

It would have been nice to be able to buy coffee or a beer or even eat at the hotel. It's such a nice venue it felt a shame to have to go out.

Very cute, retro property, run by the sweetest old couple. Limited english but enough to get us checked in and to our room. The room was huge, and immaculately clean and we loved sitting on our balcony watching the sunset. Great location just a block from the port and main shopping street, but peaceful and quiet. This place is not sleek or modern, but is very charming and full of character.

There wasn't a proper shower, just a handheld nozzle over the bathtub, meaning you basically had to sit in the tub to shower or risk water everywhere (or, just have a bath...).

The property was lovely, very good value for money and very well located. Plenty of public areas to relax outside the room.

The kitchen was closed (not sure if this was temporary or permanent) so there were no breakfast or other dining options there. The WiFi is via a local proxy, so should not be used for anything sensitive - and many secure laptop configurations will actually block its use.

Very unique style compare with other properties in this area! Love the wood theme and cozy vibe! According to my German girlfriend, she hasn’t had such a good sleep for a very long time until her stay at this place. She’s super satisfied that she even asked for extending our stay for one more night!

The insect net window to the balcony is a bit old for opening and closing. But this is the only minor imperfection of this place.

Great downtown location. The hotel is full of amazing art, including lots of fantastic paintings from the owner's wife. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. A great experience overall and all staff members were really nice and helpful (they also helped us with parking our car).

The house is absolutely charming and beautifully decorated with amazing art and knick-knacks everywhere. It is like a museum. My room was huge and very comfortable. The location is amazing and everything was perfect!

The beautiful garden, the main entrance is a real art gallery. Although, a bit crammed. Beautiful pieces of art. Close to everything.

The beds. you could feel the mattress springs making uncomfortable your sleep.

Huge Rooms, Western Cabin like wooden architecture. Smack in the center of Ita Thao town.

Weird decors including paintings and statues. Place feels deserted. Handled entirely by two old staff.

Loved the wooden furniture and eclectic art collection. The location was excellent - 2 minutes from the shops/restaurants and the pier, but very quiet. Beds were really comfy and the room was spacious. Nice tea facilities.

Stairs are quite steep with no lift and no-one to help with bags. Bath/shower set up is a bit weird, but not really a problem once we got used to it.

Charming stay in a house that feels like a museum. Located nearby the Lake, but far enough from the noise of the commercial streets. Car parking is REALLY appreciated.

It is just too bad that the nice garden is not served by a restaurant ...
