This hotel is set in a stunning part of the coastline. Lovely beaches which seem private. The restaurant has a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was spectacular, definitely the nicest breakfast I’ve had at a Spanish hotel. Staff are accommodating. There are some lovely areas to sit and have a drink.
I booked a beach/sea view room and expected like what is on the advertisement yet what we got was the marina which was nice enough but wouldn’t have paid as much extra as I did for this view. (To add, being so close to the boats meant we couldn’t sit on the balcony as it was swarmed with mosquitos). Parking is very tight!! Evening meal is massively overpriced and wouldn’t recommend, in fact, we drove to nearby towns after using the restaurant once. (Not to be confused with the wonderful breakfast). No shops nearby unless you drive and they exploit this with the mini bar with 3.5€ for a coke, 2.5€ for a small water. The cost of the restaurant is also well overpriced for the area with an average meal costing 34€ for one course. I don’t think it’s worth what you pay.

Its the third time we come to this Hotel and the place is amazing, one of the best views you can find in Begur, very private and relaxing place. All the staff are very nice and smily. Definitely you can disconnect from your everyday routine.
Had an issue with the restaurant of the hotel, the first day we came to eat, there was plenty of empty tables with the view to the sea, altho the lady with the glasses told us it was all reserved. For our surprise when we called the next day to specifically reserve one of those tables, another lady told us that it was impossible to reserve and that the asignation of the tables were based on the order of arrival. Very dissapointed since we came to have lunch and dinner several times.

Traditional very well run charming hotel in beautiful location. Delightful breakfast. Short pleasant walk (25 minutes) to Aigua Blava beach which has restaurants. Walk slightly tricky in places-need trainers. Little bar at the marina outside the hotel which sells pizzas/sandwiches. A relaxing week. Lovely staff who seem to enjoy working there. Clara and Havana restaurants good in Begur.
Mosquitos! Items on vegetarian menu lack protein. Menus expensive. Need more staff in the bar area in the evening. Reasonably Isolated location so you need a car if you want to explore. Although taxis v good. 18 euros to Begur.

Breathtaking views, amazing location! Many beaches all so close and in 30 minutes walking distance. Lots of steps, not a walk for those who aren’t physically fit or not able. We chose to do half board, breakfast was great, many options to choose from; cold, warm, continental etc. Personally we found the dinner menu overpriced for the portions and not that flavoursome. I also attended the spa and had an amazing massage! Great onsite activities; heated pool, tennis courts, spa.
I would definitely recommend getting a car to rent, to drive to the town for dinner/ sightseeing seeing or other coastal towns that are 20 minutes away via car for meals.

The staff were all extremely friendly, engaging, polite and considerate from the start- this stand out customer service filtered through to all areas of the hotel and continued throughout our stay; reception, restaurant, breakfast, bar- the same natural open & friendly service- English & french spoken ( our languages) but our attempts of Spanish were met with smiles and encouragement. Our room was full of light, yet cool and fresh. A lovely bright, very clean and well appointed room, designed with flair and quality furnishings. The position was excellent , with a lovely beach/ sea view, unexpected as we had booked late and expected a garden view. The food was excellent - including a full extensive vegetarian menu- local produce and flavours. Breakfast was a feast of fresh produce, including dairy free options, an extensive choice, delicious. The location is very special with beautiful views all around, a stunning location.
Minor point - USB port in the room would have been useful- however, a plug was obtained with ease from reception to borrow for the duration.

The location is quite beautiful . We especially liked the summer dinner menu( but the wait staff didn’t seem to understand their own menu). The breakfast buffet is great. Make sure to check out the orange juice machine!! The room was immaculate!! There are no elevators so you might be in for a hike to access your room. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and there is no valet to take care of the parking for you. The beach is public and a bit of a downhlll hike. The hotel is like an M.C.Escher drawing .
No elevators and shower can scald on occasion. Bidet is a useless garden hose affair.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the rocky shoreline. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was exceptionally polite and welcoming. There are also plenty of nearby places to explore; we particularly enjoyed visiting the charming village of Pals.
1. We had a wonderful experience overall. However, please note that the hotel has no elevator and several staircases. While the staff was very helpful with our luggage, this might be less convenient for elderly guests. 2. The hotel is right on the seashore, but there are no nearby restaurants or facilities, so having a car is essential for getting around. 3. Breakfast starts later (7:45 AM), so we couldn’t enjoy it on our last day due to an early flight. However, the hotel kindly provided coffee and pastries in our room.

We had an amazingly large room with a huge bed, a seating area and a massive bathroom. There were lovely toiletries and a tea/coffee tray. Also a sea view. Sadly we were only staying for two nights but would happily return again. The hotel was in a brilliant location next to the sea and easy walking access to a several beautiful sandy beaches. The camino de ronda passes close by. it also had a very large pool. The terrace restaurant was a beautiful place to eat overlooking the sea and nearby coves.
As someone who eats mainly vegetarian food, there were few vegetarian options, let alone vegan ones. Lots of sea food, meat and fish but hardly any vegetables at all. The breakfast buffet was great. The pool was unheated which meant that when we were there (in October) the water was very chilly..

Perfect location Wonderful facilities Access to crystal blue waters Excellent breakfast
The hotel facilities are open to the public so despite being incredibly expensive, there is no exclusivity. Potential guests should also be aware that there are abundant facilities for children which is great for parents, not so great for young couples without kids... These 2 points suggest that one might be better off finding a BnB nearby for a tenth of the price and making use of the hotel's facilities as needed.

The property is beautiful with excellent facilities. The staff were excellent, very professional. The breakfast was truly magnificent. We also had dinner at the hotel on two evenings. Both were excellent, and particularly good value on the set menu option.
We must've had the worst room on the whole property (77). It was situated in a separate building on the far side of the large car park, some distance away from the main reception/restaurant block. It had no outside area/balcony or view. It was spotlessly clean and well decorated, but not particularly large; the only space for the kettle was on the floor by the bathroom door. Furthermore, the room is on the second floor without a lift; this wasn't a problem for my wife and I, but the hotel wasn't to know that when we made the reservation. If we'd been 20 years older it may have been a big problem. In summary, at 400 euros per night, we were expecting something significantly better.
