I have an EV and I liked that I could charge my vehicle in the Parkade below. I did need a member of staff to activate the charge. I also liked the room, it had a fridge and a microwave as well as a coffee and tea maker. The bathroom was accessible in room 319 so this would benefit somebody using a wheelchair or a cane.

This is a minor of detail, but upon check-in, I was told not to use parking stall number one. It turned out this was for EV charging, but I think the member of staff did not know I had an EV, lol. I’m also a little noise sensitive, and I found the ding of the elevator a bit annoying as I was close to it. I wonder if they could switch that off at night?

Very clean, comfy space.

Everything was great, we definitely would recommend this place and going to stay there again. The only thing that was furstrating is the night shift. The guy at the reception was not happy to see us he seemed annoyed and felt like didn’t want to communicate with us. We understand that it was a late arrival at 11p.m. but isn’t it called a night shift? I mentioned about it in the booking process so it should not be a surprise. Rather than that it was good. The property was located within walking distance to the main part of town. Our room was quite large and a very comfortable king bed, large desk area, adequate wardrobe space and a light, bright bathroom. Microwave and iron were provided and we were able to have a kettle in our room. Staff were very helpful. There is a cafe on the ground floor that provided breakfast from 7 pm until 3 pm. Lots to do in the town. Take a walk down to the water/ Marina and you will find more cafes, shops and restaurant. Walk along the boardwalk as well to watch the sea planes take off and land.

The staff were very accommodating. I arrived several hours before check in time. The room wasn't ready but they put a rush on it and I was able to check in within the hour. At the end of my stay, I checked out at 2:45 am as I had a very early flight. When I got to the airport all flights were cancelled. I called the hotel and they agreed to let me return to my room until regular checkout time. I was very grateful for this.

Room was only serviced once during my stay.

We arrived late at night after a long day of travel. This was the perfect off the road hotel to catch some sleep before continuing our travels. It was quiet and clean and easy to check in and out. I also liked the gated parking.

Would have been nice to offer a continental grab and go breakfast but there is a breakfast shop attached that seemed convenient. We didn’t stay to try it.

Although this hotel is not in downtown Nanaimo, the 2 minute walk was fine. The hotel is clean and quiet and if you prefer there is a great breakfast restaurant in the lobby. The staff were wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. We rode our bicycles and the staff helped us to secure them in the parking garage.

Maybe have breakfast included.

Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.

It is up a hill so it is walkable to downtown and the harbor, but we elected to drive. Parking was easy for us around the downtown issue so this wasn't really an issue.

The rooms are very clean, sparse but comfortable. It had everything I needed. They have free coffee and tea in the mornings and a great little cafe attached to the hotel. Overall a very comfortable stay.

It about a 10 min walk uphill from the main part of town.

For us the. Location was perfect, half way between our friend and downtown. We loved the architecture of the building, especially the garage, which while below the building had fresh air and natural light. The room was pristine and my favourite item was a black make up removal face cloth. This hotel is clean, simple, efficient and friendly - we will definitely stay there again.
