Very nice view from the balcony. The bed was comfortable, not too hard. Nice size room, very clean bathroom. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. Nice access to the room. The breakfast facility was very clean and organized, with a great selection of mostly carbohydrates. The presentation and cleanliness overall were great . Thank you to the staff for great care and concern for your guests.

As it is mostly fresh and well presented carbohydrates on the continental breakfast choices, it is challenging for people with blood glucose issues of any concern to eat properly. The only real potential protein choices were yogurt and a scrambled egg cooked like a pancake and folded in half, labeled 'omelet'.

Loved the location with the peaceful lake front room on the ground floor, appreciated the sounds of Canada geese, orioles, owls, doves! Loved the dock and chairs to be able to sit quietly to enjoy! Loved the hot tub and view! Warm cuddly house robes were provided to wear to the hot tub and sit on the patio by our suite. The Breakfast was wonderful and we were grateful to be able to sit on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake and feeling the warm breeze. Hotel was easy to locate and parking is totally accessible.

Perhaps adding a meat protein to the breakfast and a more tasty coffee. Otherwise it was wonderful with lots of choice provided

Breakfast was good. There were enough choices to make it to lunch: coffee and tea, pastries, croissants, muffins, waffles, fruit, and more. However, the breakfast area is a bit small, and it gets so busy at times that there's no place to sit. It's probably better when the weather is better because there are tables outside, but the rain didn't let us. Friendly customer service. Nice hot tub. The rooms are nice, and the bathrooms are big enough. A fridge and microwave available in the room. Keurig for coffee and tea. Enough parking spaces. The location is central. We had a good stay !

My grandson missed a pool as the weather was not the best and the water was too cold to swim.

The setting was scenic, the location was extremely handy, the room was spacious and clean, and the balcony was much appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and extensive (although the popularity of the Inn sometimes led to an overly-full breakfast room). The staff were welcoming and helpful, including on the phone within the booking process. Many thanks, we will be highly recommending you.

Again, the only small blip we encountered was an overly full breakfast room.

This was the fourth time we have chosen to stay at the Inn on Long Lake, and it still is a great choice. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, and it is very quiet overnight as all rooms face the lake so the highway traffic is muted. Views over the lake are inspiring, from sunsets to early sunrise, always great photo ops. Breakfast in the dedicated room off the lobby is very well set out, ample choices from fruits, breads, cereals, waffles, delicious mini omelettes & hard boiled eggs. Excellent choices, and again, the view out over the lake.

Minor complaint, only decaf Kurig coffee pods in the room, but still tasty before going down for breakfast and regular coffee. :-) It would be handy to have a hook on the inside bathroom door, someplace to hang clothing when showering. Otherwise all was very pleasant for our weekend stay, as usual.

Great location close to town and the ferry port yet a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle. Every room has a lake view and a balcony which was so cool. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, beyond most hotels! Staff was kind and helpful at all times! The continental breakfast was a bonus and even though somewhat limited, had something for everyone from bagels to fruit to yogurt and eggs and even a waffle maker which was very popular (they should add a second one so the wait is not so long). The hot tub and sauna were unique and a treat although too hot for us to enjoy for more than a dip. We were only here one night and it was rainy so we didn’t do any lake activities but thought it was so cool that you could rent kayaks and paddle boards right from the hotel! We would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Balcony view to the lake was great. Room was big with lots of space for us to spread out and repack our gear. Hot tub and sauna were good and the lake would be fun on a warm day, otherwise nice for the views. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. A good amount of choice and engaged staff. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were inexpensive and much appreciated.

For the price and location, there was not much negative. It has a bit of a tricky entrance from the north (you have to turn left onto nearby street, go a little way and swing back, but much better than being on a high traffic thoroughfare.

I loved that they have a mini fridge with a good sized freezer! OMG we can freeze our icepacks for our day trips+ picnics. Nowhere have I seen such great wee fridges in hotel/motels lately. The Housekeeping staff were friendly + helpful too. Very convenient off the highway just few kms north of the ferry + downtown made it so easy to get where we wanted to go ie getting more supplies for our day trips, gassing up the vehicle etc. And a beautiful lake + seating areas outside of the breakfast room as well as all suites have that beautiful view as well. They served a continental breakfast as well which was a little low because we slept late but it was a good start for the day. I would suggest they provide packets of cream cheese for the bagels! Plus they had a decent cable/TV system like I'm used to, so I could watch my news of the day!😎

Good location, very picturesque but close by to a highway, so a little noisy but easily accessible. Spacious room, comfy beds and good facilities, including a fridge and microwave in the room.

Breakfast was a little chaotic as there were a lot of guests in a very confined space trying to get breakfast and only 1 toaster. This made access to the breakfast area feel rushed.

Peaceful location close to the Malls, Neck Point Park and the Ferry Terminal . Great staff ( cleaner , reception and lovely young man coordinating breakfast . All rooms have a view of the lake . Beautifully landscaped . Well away from the downtown Nanaimo . Lovely shopping malls close .

Some guests were selfish and hogged the sauna and hot tub all evening !
