Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the Tapas. I have done the dip and dine many times and like to bring friends to do it with me. The menu is reduced but more importantly it is far from the quality it was before. One of the selections was bread with the salad? That should be just part of the salad tapas. Usually I love all of the selections and can’t wait to make it to the end and order what I’d like. This time the only things I would have ordered again was the scallops and salmon. The duck and the beef selections were actually “slimy”; it seemed like they were sitting too long somewhere. They were terrible. So for the first time I was embarrassed that I had convinced my guest to pay for the Tapas experience. I didn’t know what to say but apologize to her.

We especially enjoyed the proximity to beautiful Rathtrevor Beach and provincial patk, as well as the resort's lovely grounds. Cedars restaurant had great service, a nice, varied menu, and very good food. We also enjoyed the pool facility and the Grotto spa.. Excellent massage service at Grotto!

The room was a bit dated and due for a renovation. Still, it was nice and clean and in good repair. I didn't like the automatic 15% gratuity charges levied at the Grotto spa on each aspect of the experience, including entry fee to the Grotto and massage services. Tipping should be up to the consumer. I intended to tip anyway but was surprised that it had already been applied to the bill.

The resort is amazing, beautiful scenery and easy to find your way around. We took a walk around the resort during the night and it was well light that we could find out way around no problem. The spa and mineral pool is amazing love the updates they did. It was the first time using the Murphy bed was a tad lumpy but besides that all good.

Once again the Murphy bed was a tad lumpy. Would be great if it was more comfy and less lumpy. Also better description on the rooms/cabins that are available on bookings.com would be great as I didnt know I was getting the room with a Murphy bed. I was under the impression it was 2 double beds.

The location and grounds are beautiful, nice location to other activities like mini golf, hiking, the Old Coombs Market and botanical gardens. Food was quite good in the Cedar restaraunt. The spa with the dip and dine package was excellent.

The only thing that could have been better is that the room only had a double bed instead of a queen, and the room was a bit dated. Otherwise it was comfortable.

We were only there one night and spa wasnt open so our staff experience was mostly at the restaurant/lounge. Waiter went out of his way to make our evening special. He was helpful and professional while infusing some humour and warmth .Hostess was accommodating when we changed our time and enjoyed the lounge both for a pre dinner drink and morning latte.

very happy to see the car charging infrastructure. The spa bath in the deluxe studio was excellent.

This is minor but the rooms could use a paint job! the beige colour felt a bit antiquated. Also, the grounds were very muddy so maybe warn people about that (walking from our room near the spa to the restaurant, I got my nice boots very muddy).

No breakfast- brought our own. Location was perfect, and our room in Jedediah was so close to pool and restaurant!

Not much - we were told that there would be two beds but the second one (wall bed) was behind a large sofa and there would have been no place to move it. Also, we couldn’t have moved in the room, so a little bit of not very true advertising there. Otherwise, we lucked out with good weather and lots of places to walk so it was just fine.

Loved the general surroundings. Park setting!

I felt there was too much furniture on the room. The table was squashed in a corner by the door up against a desk. The sofa was in front of a Murphy bed. Couldn’t use table easily as by the door. Maybe the desk is not needed? And the sofa could be smaller ? Thanks

Location . Use of space in unit. Clean lines & furnishings.

The “attitude” of the cleaning staff. Despite being told when we checked in late, that check out was @ 11:00 & there was a wedding the next day, we were told that an extra 15-30 minutes wouldn’t be a problem, the came to the door @ 10:50 & talked out the door ‘til 11:00. We called front desk & were told we couldn’t have a later check out. This inconsistency was not helpful, & the attitude of the cleaners was not in alignment with your quality & professionalism.

Everything! Except for the check-in time.

The check-in time at this resort is “normally” 5pm, which is not the usual as in ALL other hotels/resorts I know of. And check-out is 11am, as all others. So it doesn’t give you much time at all. But however, I called ahead and asked if an earlier check-in would be possible and we were able to get in our room at 3pm. That was very appreciated.
