The resort was wonderful, the view from our room was amazing and the food was delicious.. We booked a ground floor room thinking it would be wheel chair accessible. However, you had to go down two flights of stairs to get to the room from the parking lot.. Fortunately, there was a room available on the 2nd floor that was accessible. It wasn't easy for my husband to get around the bedroom and bathroom due to the carpets and the tight space. The beach access was long and very steep. It was impossible to navigate with a wheelchair and would be very difficult for people with mobility issues. We did enjoy our stay the staff were very helpful the room.was tastully done and clean. We would return perhaps booking a cabin or a suite.

Right on the beach with a variety of room types it has something for everyone! There is a playground, bbqs a basketball court as well as the beach, spa and restaurant- the restaurant is DELICIOUS and has great service! The staff was so accommodating and helpful! We decided to stay for the night, very last minute on our way to the ferry. We were passing through around lunchtime and they not only allowed us to check in early but also provided a pack and play for our baby to sleep in last minute. The property is large but parking is very convenient with each group of rooms having its own parking. Our room had a small kitchenette which was handy for kid’s snacks and drinks.

Nothing bad to say! It was good. One thing I would note is that if you plan to do any self catering to make sure to book a room with a full kitchen not a kitchenette. The kitchenette is sufficient for snacks and stuff - nothing wrong with it at all! But it would not suffice for multiple days of cooking- the fridge is just a bar size fridge.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the Tapas. I have done the dip and dine many times and like to bring friends to do it with me. The menu is reduced but more importantly it is far from the quality it was before. One of the selections was bread with the salad? That should be just part of the salad tapas. Usually I love all of the selections and can’t wait to make it to the end and order what I’d like. This time the only things I would have ordered again was the scallops and salmon. The duck and the beef selections were actually “slimy”; it seemed like they were sitting too long somewhere. They were terrible. So for the first time I was embarrassed that I had convinced my guest to pay for the Tapas experience. I didn’t know what to say but apologize to her.

We especially enjoyed the proximity to beautiful Rathtrevor Beach and provincial patk, as well as the resort's lovely grounds. Cedars restaurant had great service, a nice, varied menu, and very good food. We also enjoyed the pool facility and the Grotto spa.. Excellent massage service at Grotto!

The room was a bit dated and due for a renovation. Still, it was nice and clean and in good repair. I didn't like the automatic 15% gratuity charges levied at the Grotto spa on each aspect of the experience, including entry fee to the Grotto and massage services. Tipping should be up to the consumer. I intended to tip anyway but was surprised that it had already been applied to the bill.

View looking over the beach from the balcony was spectacular. Beautifully updated decor. Convenience of a kitchenette but many places to dine if you don’t feel like cooking. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the body wash and shampoo in the rooms and pool area.

That when you drop something over the balcony it is not easy to retrieve it. That we can no longer use the grotto unless you paul $100+. I missed that .

The resort is amazing, beautiful scenery and easy to find your way around. We took a walk around the resort during the night and it was well light that we could find out way around no problem. The spa and mineral pool is amazing love the updates they did. It was the first time using the Murphy bed was a tad lumpy but besides that all good.

Once again the Murphy bed was a tad lumpy. Would be great if it was more comfy and less lumpy. Also better description on the rooms/cabins that are available on bookings.com would be great as I didnt know I was getting the room with a Murphy bed. I was under the impression it was 2 double beds.

Amazing location, awesome facilities, spectacular views, squeaky clean new bathroom, spacious kitchen, balcony felt private, the kids loved the pool and the playground and the basketball courts. Beach access from the resort, lots to explore. Great food at the restaurant. Helpful, friendly staff. Would love to stay again, for longer next time. ...But we really made the most of our one night there!!

The location and grounds are beautiful, nice location to other activities like mini golf, hiking, the Old Coombs Market and botanical gardens. Food was quite good in the Cedar restaraunt. The spa with the dip and dine package was excellent.

The only thing that could have been better is that the room only had a double bed instead of a queen, and the room was a bit dated. Otherwise it was comfortable.

We were only there one night and spa wasnt open so our staff experience was mostly at the restaurant/lounge. Waiter went out of his way to make our evening special. He was helpful and professional while infusing some humour and warmth .Hostess was accommodating when we changed our time and enjoyed the lounge both for a pre dinner drink and morning latte.

very happy to see the car charging infrastructure. The spa bath in the deluxe studio was excellent.

This is minor but the rooms could use a paint job! the beige colour felt a bit antiquated. Also, the grounds were very muddy so maybe warn people about that (walking from our room near the spa to the restaurant, I got my nice boots very muddy).
