Great value. Clean facility. Pet friendly as long as you keep your dog on a leash at all times (extra fee was a reasonable $20 per night). Staff were helpful and courteous. Showers had excellent water pressure and the hot water flowed in quickly. Cable TV had all the shaw channels and wifi was solid. We appreciated the tip of walking to the beach via the nearby pathway. In the mornings we strolled down a beautiful nature path for fresh air and for our dog to stretch her legs. The beach was beautiful; surrounding trees and views were amazing.

Beds were too soft for us. Hardwood floors instead of carpet would have been nice. Located next to busy highway. Walls were a bit thin so you can hear car doors closing and muffled sounds next door, but it all seemed ok for a tidy roadside motel.

The staff! So accommodating, social and nice. The caretakers made sure we got the keys during after hours! It was a quiet room, very clean. Also, next to Ricki's where you can go there for breakfast. Or you can hop on the Island Hwy and find other coffee/eats in Parksville. Very convenient.

Nothing we only stayed for 1 night before catching the ferry. It was a good stay for the short time!

Absolutely the cleanest and best motel I have ever stayed in! Summer pricing in the area is exorbitant but theirs reasonable by comparison! Nicely furnished and very comfortable. And so clean! Very nice young man at check in (Ryan?) Nice family restaurant next door. Will stay again if needed!

Property is on a busy road so some traffic noise but not their fault! Not excessive

Host was very nice, all smiles right from the start. She gave us tips of where to see events in the area. Also gave us tips which room to book next time to better accomodate our family. The place was clean and organized. Washeoom was clean. Coffee maker, fridge and TV in the room. Lots of towels if you need. Beds were comfortable.

Nothing, we were able to eat next door at Ricky’s restaurant and shops over the road, and access to a great beach and all the local areas on the doorstep.

It was a very impressive stay at this motel. It is only several minutes walk to the ocean. The room was spacious and clean. The hosts, Mike and Diane were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They kindly lent us their BBQ oven and propane at no cost, and we had a perfect seafood BBQ experience. Will be back.

The Motel is spotless. We attended a family wedding at Ti-na-Mara resort. We chose to stay here and so glad we did. It is an older motel with a lovely feel. The room we had had a kitchenette with the works for utensils. The bathroom was spotless. My sisters room had two beds no kitchenette and it was the same spotless. My daughters family had an extra bedroom. Right across from Ti-na-mara if you are going to a wedding the perfect place to stay, you can walk there. Parksville and the beach is just up the road. I would stay here again in a minute!!! Value Comfort and Cleanliness all 5 stars!

Not a thing

Beds were so comfortable and great location. Restaurant right next door for breakfast. Very quiet. I have never had such a friendly and accommodating front desk clerk/manager. He went out of his way to make sure you were taken care of. Will recommend this motel to friends.

Exceptional from check in to check out & Pet friendly! Room was impeccably clean, from the fresh smell on entry, to the dove cucumber hand, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. And super comfy bed. Outside seating area with picnic tables. The location for us was perfect, quiet & out of the busy touristy areas, but not far enough that it couldn't be walked. Treed area to let our pooch run.

The motel room was clean, bigger than average, and in better condition than expected. Everyting worked; nothing was broken. The HVAC worked well and there was strong enough water pressure. The grounds were also well-kept. The staff were professional and accommodating; I got the impression they care because they live at the motel or are its owners. (The dirty chair in the photo I uploaded was MY chair, not the motel's. ha ha)

The TV was quite small, but it worked well. Internet was strong. I didn't notice any vending machine for drinks or snacks, and there was no breakfast provided, but next door there's a restaurant that was open for breakfast.
