The location is great. Parksville is a great anchor place if you plan to visit the areas around such as Cathedral Grove, Rathrevor Park, Little Qualicum Falls, beaches, etc. The kids loved the mini putt. There's also a nice area to bbq and eat.

I don't like carpets in hotel rooms. Also, reusable instead of disposable items would have been better such as glasses. No recycling box in room. Sometimes the music from the mini putt was annoying as it plays all day.

Short little walk down to the beautiful endless beach in Parksville. This was the #1 reason why I booked it. We also loved the bonus of the free mini golf right next door. The little veranda/shared patio area was cute. We did it utilize this during our stay, though, as it was during a heat wave. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Complimentary popcorn was provided in the entrance. They also provided me with several bags of ice, when needed, as the ice machine wasn’t working.

I wish there were a few food options a little closer, we walked quite far one night to try and get some dinner.

This was a well appointed room with a bar fridge and a microwave The AC was very efficient The outdoor space was so inviting and accessible to our dogs we spent time there having drinks and snacks. We were sorry not to have brought food to put on the BBQ The staff are so friendly and helpful. The popcorn’s good too! The Inn is very close to the beach (about a three minute walk). I’m so impressed. We will definitely be back again soon!

Nothing to dislike

It is an older motel but well maintained. The room was large and overall the motel filled our needs.

The rooms were renovated and clean. The office staff was awesome. we had a little kitchenette which we didnt use cause we we're only there one night but if we had spent a little more time that would have been perfect. the facilities were very close to the beach and there was a small access area if you wanted to go down there. we weren't traveling with children but if we had have been, there was a great Mini-Golf/adventure Castle right next door which would have been a hit with the kids.

we thought the beds were a tad on the hard side but that's pretty subjective. the motel is quite close to the main road so it was a little bit noisy in the morning. we were on the front side of the building. Parking was tight and we have a really little car. there may have been better parking in the back but our room was in the front so we didn't look. if you have a truck, you might want to ask about parking in the back or get there at a decent hour so you get a spot that isn't so tight you can't get into it.

The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. The kids loved having the complimentary popcorn 🍿 and took full advantage of the free mini golf. The short stroll to the beach 🏖️ was an added bonus. Having the kitchenette was greatly appreciated for our breakfast and snacks. The BBQ area with comfy seating came in handy to have a BBQ dinner on site.

Unfortunately the room had a faint odour of cigarette smoke. Not the properties fault as it says non smoking but obviously some people do not follow the rules.

Great little room with all the needed amenities of a hotel room. We got in late (had notified the reception) and they were very accommodating. The iconic Parksville mini golf id included in your stay although we did not have time to participate.

We found the AC to be very loud. Because there is a full length window beside the door/bed, we were uncomfortable as the blinds have been previously damaged and allow others to look in. Better fitting blinds or perhaps a translucent glass would be better in this situation.

The room was very clean.The location is convenient for walking (I had my small dog with me.)It was surprisingly quiet considering that it is close to the highway.

The room was up a flight of stairs which made it a little more difficult with my dog and the steps are narrow and relatively steep. I anticipated that it would have had a kitchenette as I am not much of a coffee drinker I missed not having a kettle to make a cup of tea. Using a tea pod in a coffee maker does not make for a good cup of tea.The furniture could do with an upgrade.

He was super friendly and helpful after I locked myself out ......Twice, besides that's he was super pet friendly , I freaking loved the room. Clean and very well kept, im sorry about the hair on the be , I did lock myself out and couldn't keep them down for a few min, the yard was absolutely beautifully laid out loads of space chairs and tables to sit and ejoyt the ocean air. They are def putting in 200% creating a beautiful pleasant stay ,

Comfortable, clean room. Nice location. Fun playing mini golf next door!! We asked for a ground floor room after being given a second level room to accommodate our senior dog and we were helped immediately and with a smile. Thank you so very much!

Unfortunately could hear people in other rooms clearing their throats, etc. small complaint but the bathroom could use more shelves or hooks for toiletries, towels
