The breakfasts were exceptional… we were fed great quality and quantity. Our host Anneke was knowledgeable and entertaining and ready to help in any possible way. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and after only 3 days felt like we had known each other for much longer. Would definitely give her cooking a 3 star Michelin rating….

There is nothing we would change… honestly, nothing was missing that could have made our stay any better than it was…

Anneke was an amazing host. She was so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home the moment we set foot on her beautiful property. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into everything she does, and it shows! Our room was beautiful ,immaculate, and spacious, and the decor was so lovely. The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The setting in the woods was a perfect way to unwind and forget your day to day worries. We loved seeing her adorable chickens and the wild bunnies. After our day outing, we were always greeted with a warm smile from Anneke and a cup of tea. Her breakfasts were so delicious and kept you fueled for most of the day. The presentation with flowers on the food was such a creative touch! We have stayed in a few bed and breakfasts over the years, but none of the hosts were as personable as her! Anneke is truly in a class of her own. Our hostess Anneke was a delight ! The wooded property just a few minutes from Errington/Parksville with a beautiful country home. We enjoyed a lovely reception of coffee and homemade pastries and our room was clean and comfortable. We relaxed and sat on the porch watching hummingbirds,rabbits,and other birds. Comfortable nights sleep and then treated to a delicious breakfast each day. Anneke gave some great ideas to do during the day including visiting / hiking Englishman river falls. Highly recommend !!

Aneke, our hostess, was one of the nicest and most interesting people we have met anywhere, so much so that we invited her out to dinner on our second night. Breakfast each morning was outstanding A lovely relaxing place, interacting with the chickens and the tame wild rabbits in the garden, while sipping the refreshing drinks provided.

Difficult to find (our GPS couldn't locate the address), and a bit of a drive from Parksville, but that is part of the charm.

Our hostess is amazing, so welcoming, friendly, easy to be with and to chat with. The breakfasts that she prepares are wonderful, different each day, and set you up for the day. Anneke has a wealth of knowledge of where and what to visit on Vancouver Island. The peaceful setting, amongst the trees, of her B&B is a balm to the soul.

Great place to stay in Vancouver Island. The host Anneke is super friendly and was very supportive, she helped me find activities and her breakfast was superb. If I ever go back to Vancouver Island I'll definitly stay there, and use the forest shower again, it was super nice :)

The breakfast was definitely gourmet. The hostess certainly went the extra mile(s) in accommodating my spouse in particular, who has dietary and health needs. What a sweet, wonderful woman you are Anneke!

Our stay was only for two nights, which was over too quickly. As much as I like to offer constructive criticism there is absolutely none needed for this property.

Simlpy everything! The house and the guest rooms are decorated with so much love by Anneke. There is a very spacious living room area, dining area, porch, terrace, plus a huge garden area. You can use all those areas and relax surrounded by the nature. There are even some rabbits hanging out in the garden area. We had a spacious room with ensuite bathroom. The breakfast is prepared freshly and homemade by Anneke every morning. This was so amazing and delicous!! We enjoyed having the breakfast with the other guests at the dinner table. Anneke made our stay feel like we‘re at home and we 100% recommend this B&B.

We thought breakfast excellent. Did some laundry which was an added bonus!

We may have preferred to stay in a more central location. Didn’t visit the nearby falls but for anyone who wanted to they’re close by.
