Loved that we could walk across the street and be at the beach. Was also nice to have a nice coffee bar across the street with some really good baked items. Room was nice and cool and they also have new outdoor seating which was nice to relax in the evening.

Both fridges in rooms were missing front legs or something, couldn't open the door properly and when it did get open, everything flipped out. Also was nice having full kitchen but no plates, cups or silverware. Also the pillows were horrible.

Staff were super friendly, they were able to provide us with extra mugs, coffee cups, blankets and sheets (for the pullout bed) and extra towels. Beds were super comfy, except for the pull-out which suffered from being able to feel the springs / bed frame. Location to Qualicum/Coombs/Courtenay/Mt Washington and Ferry Terminal was perfect. 1 free daily coffee from Purebread across the street. 1 free daily game of mini golf (for all in the room) across the street, a fun time for the entire family.

The pull out bed did not come with sheets/ blanket ( but was provided when we asked no problem - just be aware if you are arriving out of office hours!). Pull out bed was also uncomfortable, being able to feel the springs and bed frame.

Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a kitchenette which was nice to eat in. Everything is dated which did not matter at all when considering other qualities. The woman at the front desk, whose name I am sorry to say I forgot, went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. She even called around trying to find me another place to stay to extend our vacation, since thi place was sold out.

Need a full set of dishes

The hotel is in the perfect location. The kids enjoyed the free pass in the mini golf across the hotel. The staff also provided a space outside for us to gather together and share meals with each other. They also permitted us to use the barbecue grill.

Their response time when sending request to them through the website. It takes forever and sometimes no response.

I loved that the rooms are soundproofed, and that there is no one above or below you. With our baby and toddler in tow, it was so nice not worrying that they were disturbing anyone, and we didn’t hear a peep from the other rooms either! I love that you get a free designated parking spot, directly outside of your room. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Free unlimited mini golf at the Paradise Mini Golf Adventure Park across the street was included, and that was so awesome! It was also only a short walk to a boardwalk along the beach, and quite possibly the BEST kids park we’ve ever been to!! Would definitely stay again!

We moved the beds to accommodate our children, and discovered that they don’t seem to clean under the beds. It was pretty filthy under there! Perhaps that it something they could work on. The room was otherwise very clean. I didn’t love the fact that this motel borders a busy highway, but we were aware of this before staying, and you couldn’t hear any traffic from the room, so it was fine. Very easy to get in and out of anyway, and in some ways also convenient that it’s right on a highway.

I thought the room I booked had a kitchenette so we bought some food to cook that night, but it only had a microwave & refrigerator, but the staff was helpful in giving us utensils and a can opener to use.

It is an older motel but clean and comfortable. It was sold out that night so I'm glad people were willing to stay there despite the age.

The location was perfect. The room was great for the price we paid in the middle of summer! It also came with free mini golf at a cute course across the street and a free Americano in the morning. Jay at the front desk when we checked in was friendly and made sure our rooms were side by side with our friends.

The bathroom is dated and not in the best repair. As well, there were no good plug ins near the bedside table for charging cell phones.

Very helpful receptionist. Large rooms, separate bedroom in #30. Free for guests minigolf and bumper boats across the road delighted the 11 & 4 year old children.

Not a matter of "didn't like", just a suggestion : have a pamphlet or sheet in reception with a map of Parksville suggesting good restaurants, etc.

Beds were very comfortable and everything is very clean. Loved going mini golfing everyday and the staff was kind and helpful.

Kitchen is very poorly equipped. Only 1 small burner worked on the stovetop, 2 glasses (in a room with beds for 4), 2 knives, no salt and pepper etc.

Very clean and had lovely upgrade. Central to the Parksville attractions and the beach. Next door to a lovely mini golf which we got free access to as hotel patrons. Was lovely surprise. Had lovely kitchenette and a common area outdoor table and lounge to sit for those wanting to sit outside.
