This old and special hotell is a treat to visit with its perfect location in the middle of the busy and bustling Vaxholm harbor. The staff welcoming us, Mette, was an absolute delight with her kindness and hospitality. Our room was nice a bit on the small side as is expected in an older hotel but it had all we needed for our short stay. We had a nice balcony where we enjoyed watching the boats came and go while zipping our cocktail. We had dinner at their restaurant and were offered a great table with a view over the water! The breakfast ( which is included in the stay) was delicious and plentiful with all kind of Swedish dishes and even Mimosa if you desired. We can highly recommend a stay here ❤️

A small refrigerator would have been very nice but perhaps difficult to fit in the room.

Really nice old hotel in great location beside ferry on Vaxholm. Room was small but very well thought out and space was used very well. Bed comfortable, shower excellent. Room had everything we needed. Staff helpful. Evening meal in restaurant very good. Views from restaurant amazing

Breakfast was a little disappointing

Lovely seaside old hotel currently being upgraded. Great view of harbour in penthouse, but mind your head Older staff very kind and helpful. Several new staff, variable but some very good indeed

Kitchen staff and activities not so good and food not exciting with a rather poor range

The experience began right away when the front desk personnel informed us that we were eligible for an upgrade in rooms! We loved sitting out on our veranda to start our day and take in all the beautiful scenery.

I like this old style that they kept. It’s clean everywhere . Smells good . In general everything was good . Breakfast was very decent : croissants with chocolate , water melons , salami and eggs my fav. Sea view from the room and from the restaurant was amazing .

No air conditioning if you travel in July like us . Top floor rooms have no balcony’s whole floor below have . Pillows are not comfortable:(

Excellent breakfast, comfortable room with great view over harbour, good location for boat connections, town centre, shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, a well run hotel.

We liked the location, and the room was clean, with a nice décoration. There was a balcony, which was a very pleasant surprise. The sea view was very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable.

It was 2 small beds put together, so it wasn't super romantic. Good for sleeping but not great for cuddling. The breakfast was not great. We went to a bakery afterwards to compensate.

Great views, good breakfast, comfortable rooms. The hotel is in a great location to relax on the peaceful island of Vaxholm, and close to the ferry terminal to travel into Stockholm (takes about 1 hour).

Our room was missing a Do Not Disturb sign, and the bathroom was a wet room rather than a bathroom with a shower cubicle.

The location is great, right in the heart of shops and restaurants, not to mention the ferries. The room was lovely and the staff so friendly and helpful.

In the wharf. Easily assessible to airport and Stockholm😅

I found $360 a bit much for one person in an attic room. Breakfast was fantastic; too bad they couldn’t set a table with a table cloth! So much partying down below that I couldn’t sleep until 2:00 am
