It was comfortable. I like staying in motels. My brother and I traveled a lot, and there was no better feeling than getting off the road. I have been homeless for a while. I received some money, and I couldn't wait to check in. Hot shower, big comfe bed, and nothing to do. I picked GATEWAY INN AND SUITS because it is for me. I am in an electric mobile chair for me it was perfect. When I opened the door to the room, it reminded me the hotels me and my late brother stayed in, took me back. Very plesent place, had fun, met people and everything is, close. Actually, if I could, I would like to live there, The GATEWAY INN, why do you they call it the Gateway. Perfect for me. Thank you

Super clean, Large rooms that comes with a decent breakfast selection. The coffee and juice are always available. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. The room has a coffee maker, fridge and microwaves. I had to book at the last minute due to family issues, and my stay exceeded my expectations. Right off I-5, gas and food. It's across from a mall with movies. Room decor was modern with an earthy feel. Overall super happy, and will skip the stay with family to book here instead next time.

The first floor was under construction so no pool, spa or breakfast seating...yet!! Will definitely have to book again so I can update.

Everything is fantastic. They are remodeling and i especially like the way the rooms are set up. Everything is really well thought out and it has everything you need and the things that some hotels had taken away that you now have to ask for you actually get here. It's quiet, even with remodeling going on and being on the main street it's quiet. They have coffee all the time and the staff is really great. I would be proud to say I worked here if I had a job here. I most definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great and convenient place to stay. It's close to everything and you can walk, drive or take the bus which is right out front. Come check them out!!! You won't be disappointed!

There is nothing I didn't like about being here.

The room was absolutely great, quiet, good lighting, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, iron, could not ask for more!

Breakfast was atrocious, bad quality bread, mediocre coffee, the only good part was the bowl of bananas and maybe the greek yoghurt (more sugar than yoghurt..) cheapest kind of jam (grape jelly), I think the food standard did not match the room standard, I would not call it "breakfast included", call it "some casual snacks provided". Final thought: the price was hard to beat, even without "breakfast" , so I am still happy and would come again!

I thought this property would have a lot of road noise but it was getting late and I was limited in affordable options. I was pleasantly surprised and actually had a very quiet and comfortable stay. The room had all the facilities you would expect and was very clean. The staff were excellent and proved to be very trustworthy after I left a card and enclosed gift for an elderly gent I met who was going to be staying there the following week. He was so lovely and gave me great advice and I wanted to leave him a token of friendship which the staff passed on. I’d definitely stay again should I find myself in Eugene.

Currently undergoing a renovation in reception area. The breakfast was then served in an awkwardly small area near the reception desk, but that should get worked out when things are completed. Room was clean and nice.

Left a specific charger in the room. Called the same day we left but due to the renovations the desk clerk could not find the lost and found to check for us. We were asked to call again and ask someone else on another shift. No luck.

This was a last minute late night booking on our 5 hours drive to stop off in Eugene before continuing on. I was a little skeptic thinking to myself. Was it cheaper by than the other hotel listings because it’s in a bad part of town or it’s a run down place? To my surprise, all the other positive reviews were right. This place is one of the best place we’ve stayed at for the dollar. It might be an older building, but the room was clean, the sheets weren’t smelly, and best of all; quality sound proof. QUIET!!! I would stay here again.

Very comfortable clean room. I appreciated having a refrigerator, and coffee maker. I also liked having the heating cooling option.

I’m allergic to artificial fragrance. When I walked into the office the smell was overwhelming. When I mentioned that, the office attendant said oh yes our air freshener sprays every few seconds. Please think about this as these fake chemicals aren’t helping anyone. There are safe alternatives out there that don’t smell like that and wouldn’t cause distress to those of us who can’t be around them.

Staff, convenience of busses and within walking distance as well. Breakfast in the morning and coffee all day and night. very nice housekeeping staff and I have even spoken to the owner who is very nice. I had an extended stay and got to know the staff quite well during my time here.

They are remodeling and so the laundry is off limits which is frustrating, but I understand.

This was our second stay at this motel. We liked the layout of this room better than that of the first. It felt more spacious. It was also closer to the stairs which made it easier to bring our luggage in and out. Motel was centrally located, so it was easy to get to everything we wanted to do. Continental breakfast had a good selection of food and beverages. Staff was very friendly.

It would have been nice to have another table or two in the lobby to be able to sit down for breakfast, but I understand they are limited by space. Plunger in bathroom sink was broken, so it would not drain properly. I did report this to the front desk.
