The location of the hotel - facing the Stortorget, the town square - can't be beat. Lilla Torg is also just around the corner, maybe 2 minutes walk, while Malmö Centralstation is 5-6 minutes away. Breakfast was more than adequate, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. The room was not clean and functional, as was the rest of the hotel. Do note that the staff are quite sticky about check-in time.

I really liked the hotel's location. It was close to the station and a lot of great restaurants. The hotel is very historic, and I love the way that it is decorated. There was so much history in the hotel that was truly fascinating. The breakfast was healthy, delicious and the staff both at the front desk and restaurant were friendly, kind and warm

I was not too fond of the fact that the room was so small and had no amenities. I did ask for bottled water, and I was told that I could drink tap water, which was the reason there was no water in the room. The room temperature was inconsistent and depending on the time I took a shower, there wasn't hot water

Old (1875) but well maintained hotel from the Scandic group, very close to Malmö central station (less than a 5 minute walk) and situated in the Stortorget plaza and close to Lilleborg plaza which was full of restaurants, the personnel was very kind and helpful, the family room was large and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was quite varied with enough choices for everyone.

We expected to find slippers in the room at a 4 star hotel and also a mini fridge but there weren't and also no AC, I don't know if one wouldn't be helpful during summer although I know Sweden isn't as hot as Spain let's say but anyway... Also a bit noisy in the morning from the cars outside. But all in all these wouldn't be reasons not to recommend this hotel as it had more positive aspects than negative ones.

Great location, the suite was a good size and the breakfast was nice.

Not a comfortable sleep seeing silverfish on the floor and on the ceiling above the bed. Counted at least 6. Also, we booked the presidential suite - great size, but missing a few things that you would expect for the price such as.. no robes, completely empty mini bar, no “vanity kit” which usually has cotton buds, ear buds, etc. also tv’s are quite out dated. Wouldn’t hurt to upgrade the tv’s or at least add chrome casts for guests to stream their own media without hdmi. Not sure I’ll be paying that price for the suite anymore.

This lovely old hotel is located in the main city square, a short walk to all the most popular tourist attractions, railway station (for day trips), and airport bus station. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, both at the reception and in the breakfast area. Speaking of breakfast, the buffet was really good, with lots of high-quality food. The breakfast area is very nice and spacious. There’s also a sauna in the hotel, but we unfortunately didn’t have the time to use it. Our room was comfortable enough, with a big bathroom (equipped with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion).

The room had a dated feel. The extra bed for the third person squeaked on every single move. We had 2 bathrobes and 2 coffee cups, even though the room was booked for 3 people. We asked for a third coffee cup but never got one. The bath was also a bit leaky, and it was easy to slip while getting out of it. Another downside is that, like most Scandinavian hotels, this hotel also doesn’t have daily room cleaning. Instead, you need to ask to have your room cleaned — and if you want it to be cleaned every day, you’ll feel uncomfortable because they stress how they don’t clean the rooms to save the planet. It would be nice not to have to ask for cleaning or clean your room when you’re on vacation.

Breakfast was great, as well as the size of the family room, which consists of 2 separate rooms, plus a bathroom and a hallway. The hotel is centrally located on the main square of the city, just within a short walking distance from the railway station.

However, the hotel is very nice and elegant; a complete renovation is needed, as it has become a bit worn. The sofa bed was only comfortable for small children because it creaked and was already worn out.

The hotel is located very centrally and is close to a large host of restaurants and cafes. It is also only a short 5 minute walk from Central Station, which is perfect if you're travelling to and fro Malmo. Our booking came with breakfast included. This was provided in a buffet style at the hotel restaurant and had a good variety of assortments, coffee and juices.

There wasn't any water or kettle provided in the rooms, but you could purchase water bottles or juices in the hotel lobby.

Position on main square and very near central station.Breakfast was nice . . All staff were very friendly and helpful .. hotel had made a great effort for Eurovision but because of this event hotel was hugely overpriced.

Rooms didn’t have kettle or fridge and pretty basic .. bed had a very soft mattress . Was in one of the newer style rooms.. quite good sound proofing and pleasant.. but tv tiny and in a very odd position for viewing . The carpet on the main stairway was threadbare .. it’s quite a lovely feature but looks very dilapidated because of this.

The Hotel overlooks a main square only 5 minutes walk from Malmö Central Station. The location is superb and the staff so helpful and friendly. I think it will be impossible to find a better breakfast anywhere - it was amazing with hot and cold choices to make a 5* hotel review its offerings

Overlooking the main square, there was a little noise from loud cars and a nightclub on the other side of the square, but as it was cold at night, closing the windows removed it. I slept soundly every night

Great central location in Malmo opposite the City Square and near to a large variety of quality restaurants & takeaway food outlets. Short stroll to Malmo Central Train Station and Bus Lines. Lovely modernised old building, very comfortable rooms, great buffet breakfast selection, professional + happy staff, lovely clean facilities.

Nothing
