The staff was very kind. It’s a family who own and run the place, and they do a great job of maintaining the grounds and have renovated the whole place. Landscaping was beautiful and the pool looked inviting. Everything was very clean. Liked that it had a refrigerator and microwave. It was also located right across from the KY Dinner train that we had tickets for.

I wish they had breakfast at the location and coffee in the rooms. I wish the bathroom was a little bigger. but it was adequate. I really liked the mattress, but my wife would have preferred a less firm one. Wish they had Kleenex tissue and bigger soap.

The location, the entire staff, the hospitality, the room it itself and the comfort level is second to none loved everything about it. Will be my go to place to stay from here on out whenever I do come to Bardstown Ky. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bardstown Ky to book they're stay at the Bourbon Capital Inn

Honestly can't say I didn't like anything because it was everything you'd want, even has a small sitting spot area right outside your room to enjoy the out doors which you won't find anywhere else.

I really like that when I arrived they were super friendly, they gave me a bottle of water with my name on it. The room was clean and smelled delightful. It looked to be recently remodeled.

It’s not that I don’t like it, just want to provide honest feedback. I would change the outlet and outlet covers to match the newly renovated rooms, the tub drain was backed up. Also the tub spout was about 2 inches off the surround. Saying that I will only be staying there when I come back to Bardstown!!

Close to downtown Bardstown, cute stores, restaurants and museums. The hotel is well run. Check in process was fast and easy. They even gave me a complimentary bottle of water with my name printed on it! The rooms have been upgraded and are very clean. We were there for a bike trip and the room was the perfect size for our bike as well as us. Will definitely stay there again!

Nothing to complain about everything was great!

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and bedding. Floors were tiled and not carpeted, a big plus! Rooms were simply but appropriately decorated. AC worked great, TV worked great. The room had a mini refrigerator and microwave. Staff was friendly and efficient. Convenient location. Easy to find. Rooms comparable to Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, Days Inn, but with a more economical price.

I spoke with the woman at the front desk staff on my way out and advised they needed a mirror in the room, aside from the one in the bathroom, so that more than one person could get ready at a time and a mini coffee maker. She told me the mirrors and coffee machines were ordered and pending delivery. So both items will be resolved soon. The towels were small and thin, I would advise a towel upgrade when the money is available but overall a great motel choice and I would stay there again.

Stayed while touring bourbon distilleries. Room has recently been updated-paint, flooring, furniture. It is clear the owners are working to make this a go-to motel for folks who are touring the area. Bed very comfortable, nice to have a couch in the room and have space to walk around.

No coffee maker in the room, though coffee was available in the lobby.

We like the location & the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are nice & clean. The price is reasonable also. We have stayed there two years in a row while visiting Bardstown for The Stephen Foster Story.

We dont have any complaints. They were preparing for a breakfast bar which will be nice but there are nice local restaurants we like to have breakfast at so that's not that important to us.

The staff was very accommodated. Room was very spacious but lacks a few utilities (a Microwave would be nice).

Shower was very weak and output very little water. No Microwave in the room and lacks of charging ports. The room could do away with the big screen TV and have more utility like hangers, microwave, charging ports.

I liked the location. And the ppl working the front desk were very helpful with what ever we needed. Everything has been renovated and Everything is still new and looks good! They're in process off changing the name etc with the change off ownership and management.

The negative reviews that I saw online.. they were from previous management and owner. The new owner is dedicated to make it a good place to stay and is doing a great job!!

Clean quiet and comfortable

It's new owners working to renovate an old motel and they are working hard to do this There is no breakfast options at this time.they do have coffee in the office. There was also no cups in the room for teeth brushing or even drinking water..
