Excellent staff like Ian & Devon were both willing to accommodate our needs & to answer all questions. Ian went above & beyond to accommodate us at check-in. Devon was helpful & so kind. Manoge helped me set up an app for Holidaya Inn Express to earn points. Thank you! Great rooms, Best Breakfast Ever, very clean, Great Location, close to lots of things to do & stores to shop/restaurants to eat!

Learned to Always book directly with HolidayInnExpress. Don't use outside companies. They cost much More & make mistakes(like double book me)

Location is close to downtown.

We had initially asked to have our rooms close to one another. Initially did not happen with reason being Derby Weekend yet we made reservation months in advance. The worst part was we were initially put in a room that had not been cleaned and we did not check in until 5:30-6PM. Was then moved to a room on the same floor as our friends. Lighting in the room and bathroom was not bright enough and I overhead light did not work.

Breakfast was great per my traveling companions, but for someone who is Type 2 diabetic, I could not eat the eggs due to the peppers in them, could not eat sausage due to spices, and could not have sugary cereals so not much I could eat.

That the pool was closed. One reason I booked this hotel was so my granddaughter and sister could swim. A notice should have been on the website that the pool was closed. I would have stayed somewhere else.

The check in and check out process was easy and seamless. The room are super clean and LOVE the upgraded bathrooms/showers. We will for sure stay here again! We also need a microwave and small frig when we travel and loved that the Holiday Inn Express has both of those items.

There was nothing we could think of that we did not like. Everything was to our utmost satisfaction. We are super happy we chose the Holiday Inn Express and will stay here again on our next trip to KY.

Breakfast was very good. Eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. Room was modern and clean. Thermostat was on the wall rather than a setting on the AC Unit. Fridge and microwave were a nice addition. Bed was comfortable, pillows were marked with soft or firm.

There could have been more light over the desk / luggage area. The window darkening shade was damaged and would only go up halfway (not really a big deal).

Super clean. Large room. Seemed brand new. Breakfast bar was exceptional! Best breakfast bar at a hotel in a long time. They actually had egg white omelets and turkey sausage, so for the first time I was able to get protein at breakfast. Not to mention the warm, soft cinnamon rolls!!

Clean, beds are comfortable, small refrigerator in room. keurig and coffee pods.

The pool area and fitness center is mediocre. indoor pool is pretty small and the area in general. No hot tub. The fitness center is very small. No extra blankets or a pillow in the rooms for the pull out beds. paying $233 after tax for one night (and that's just for one king bed. If you need 2 queen beds it costs more.. the continental breakfast is ok.. You would think for a hotel this expensive at least the amenities would be up to par. Restaurant in the building but it wasn't open on a Saturday. Not sure if it's temporarily closed or something 🤔 expensive hotel and not much to offer.

The rooms were roomy and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was sooo good!

The young man at the front desk wasnt very friendly at all. The pool room was really hot, and there were unsupervised teens horseplaying around little kids

Clean. Good gym. Food coffee and girl vacuuming made us a pot of coffee for the road

The check in gentleman knew very little about the restaurants. Just their names. And do t know the area at all Service is important and he could improve in this area.

The breakfast ar was amazing. The pool was nice the water was a little to cold for me Very clean and lots of nearby restaurants Loved the nearby park withthe wood gaints

Nothing I didn't like it was a great place to stay
