Location was just what we wanted for our visit. Room was a good size and was really clean, and had adjustable air con and heating. Staff were excellent. We only had 2 towels in our room and I asked for a handtowel. They didn't offer handtowels but brought me an additional towel immediately. There was a fridge in the room, which considerately had a pint of milk supplied. Tea and coffee facilities. TV in the room (but only freeview). The bed was firm but exceptionally comfortable, with 2 pillows each, a soft and hard pillow, and the sheets felt good quality. The room was very quiet, so we slept well. We paid for a 'superior room' so don't know what the regular rooms were like. There was plenty of parking in the hotel car park.

I noticed on Booking.com that it stated that £100 deposit would be taken from my card on arrival which would be refunded when we left, subject to no damage to the room. I was a little startled by that, but no deposit was taken, thankfully. The bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower, but the bath had no taps, so it was not possible to take a bath. There were no bedside lights, so only quite fierce ceiling lights. No lift, and we were 3 floors up. Not a problem for us but may be for others. Do not expect ultra-modern. This hotel has a really good Indian restaurant (as we know from a previous visit), which sadly was out of use due to building works.

For the price I paid, this hotel was good. The room was neat and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

Just to mention for anyone staying here for work and needs a good sleep — the walls are quite thin and you can hear people going up and down the stairs and doors closing. That’s not the hotel’s fault, just part of the building. Also, at the moment the restaurant is closed, which was a shame because the onsite restaurant was one of the reasons I booked. I don't remember any correspondence letting me know this. But anyway, for the money I paid this hotel was good enough.

It was in the right place, the staff were fab. The room was clean. The shower was fantastic. The bed was firm but we slept well. We had a deluxe room and it was worth the money. The Indian restaurant on site was fantastic. Will definitely stay again.

No bedside lights. No fan in the bathroom, which looked new but because it had no window and the fan didn’t work I fear it will become mouldy in there quite quickly (hint to owners - fix the bathroom fan). The air con/heater didn’t seem to work. The fan opened but nothing happened. Couldn’t see out of the window as it was in the eaves. Niggly little things, mostly could be easily fixed.

Power shower, TV easy to see from the Bed, Reasonably Quiet side of hotel room on first floor, On-site Indian Restaurant meant takeaway to eat in room possible, Price was less than half of other hotels nearby, Useful Fridge in the room was also quiet.

Power Shower controls not obvious or easy to use. Power shower head too low, No Bath, Only two towels, Towels very rough and not soft, TV very small, Pillows very hard/lumpy. Mattress not very comfortable, No full english breakfast within miles. Bedside Lighting too bright.

Spotlessly clean hotel and our room was spacious, modern & fresh. Excellent service on arrival & during our stay. We ate in the restaurant & the food was delicious & again with great service from kind, friendly staff. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel which was excellent value for money. We had travelled quite some way for a family funeral & at an upsetting time it was so good that we had booked somewhere that turned out to be so comfortable with no problems at all.

Reception very welcoming and room and en suite were very clean. We did not eat in the restaurant as we only needed the accommodation overnight - in the day we were at our son's house in West Kingsdown.

We'd recommend setting the room radiator thermostats on a lower setting. Setting 6 is far too high - it was very hot in the room. We did turn the thermostat down but, obviously, it took time for the room to cool a bit even with a window open.

I liked the room, it's spacious enough for me, clean as is the bathroom too. It also has a fridge which for me, is very useful. The bed is big enough and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is really good and not expensive, all the staff are very helpful and genuinely very nice people

The wi-fi can regularly disconnect and take quite a time to re-connect.

Such a pleasant surprise, it was lovely, spotlessly clean, big spacious rooms with tea/coffee facilities and bottles of water. A fridge in the room was a bonus too. The shower is AMAZING! Staff were super helpful and friendly and there is a fabulous Indian restaurant on site.

Nothing to dislike. Breakfast not normally available but can be available if you ask in advance. fridge in room makes taking your own food easy.

Greeted by super friendly staff. The hotel itself was easy to find with lots of free, off road parking. The room was a great size and had its own fridge, as well as tea making facilities. Fully air conditioned room. Huge bathtub!!

Bed was very small, although I am over 6 foot. Little bit too hard for my liking.

it was soo clean and calm and beautiful view from the window , staff was lovely and very cooperative😇

this is a great thing that here is wifi available , Network working for phones properly but we faced difficulty during watch the tv because of network.
