breakfast was sufficient and good. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Geeva, Tom,Amy and Jo.

The quality of the food in the restaurant was good but for my husband there was not many meals that he could chose, due to the restriction of healthy and not low fat food, as he is not able to eat was was on the menu, due to his heart illness, but I must add that Geeva was very helpful and gave his best to inform the cook what my husband could eat. The only problem was, on checking-in we were surprised that we paid 1,623.58 Euros as Booking.com confirmed the price of 1,558.00 on-line, we would apprciate if you could inform us.

We didn't require breakfast during our stay. Lovely clean room and comfy mattress. As soon as we arrived at the reception desk, we were greeted with welcoming smiles by two delightful ladies, Iveta and Leah, who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our short stay truly special. We were celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary and Leah had personally arranged heart shaped red rose petals and an anniversary card on our bed, which we found upon arrival!

The only small disappointment was the lack of sauna and steam room, as they were out of order, and we were looking forward to using these facilties.

The room was comfortable and clean

There were only two teabags so you could either have a cup of tea in the morning or during the evening but not both, we had a meal in the restaurant and although the food was good, we asked the staff for another drink which did not arrive, then another member of staff asked if we wanted the bill I explained that we were still waiting for our drinks and he said that he would get them and they still didn’t arrive, a third person came to ask if we wanted any desserts and I said again we were still waiting for our drinks, waited again watching more people coming in and being seated and getting served drinks and staters all the time still waiting for our drinks. so we went to pay said that we never got the drinks she apologised we left very disappointed.

The bed was such a comfortable big bed, room and bathroom so clean, so lovely for the staff to add a lil something special for my partners birthday, not only that but out of our room we could hear a little bit of the track which was exciting! Food was absolutely lovely! A wide range on the all day menu and then the indian theme menu for dinner was absolutely amazing. There was no fault to the staff, they were a compliment to the hospitality industry, such friendly accommodating people from each department, made us feel so welcome and comfortable for our first stay at this hotel! Nothing was too much trouble for them

It was located in an amazing place. Elegant and peaceful looking. Nothing fancy but everything was great. As a former Mercure staff, I wasn’t very much into booking any of the Mercure brand but I’m glad that I booked it. 😇 I would like to say a big thank you to Tom (F&B) for an amazing service with a lovely smile. Thank you for tolerating my requests every single time. 😅❤️ and shout out to Laila (my apologies if I said the wrong name) from Reception. Thank you for your great service and do beyond. 🥰 Will be back soon.. xx

Wi-fi didn’t work much in the room but it wasn’t a big issue.

Room was excellent and better than expected, nice clean bathroom too and a very favourable price. Reception staff were very nice and checked me in with friendly smiles. Stayed two nights, eating in the restaurant the first night and racing bar the following night. Restaurant was okay and the food was pretty good in the evening and for breakfast in the morning with plenty of different choices. Would definitely stay here again.

Not many people around....in fact I was the only one in the racing bar on my second night, so went back to my room early after eating, but that's not the hotels fault.

This is my second visit here as we went to sn event at the race track. From the moment we arrived the staff were all very friendly and chatty, Amy, in the restaurant was just a lovely pleasant girl. The food was good, and good choice of food. The hotel itself was clean, although yes in places it could do with a bit of paint. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and staff replenishing cutlery. The team all seem to pull together, it seemed they were a little short staffed but the bar manager had it under control . Would stay again

The noisy people arriving back at their room at 00:30, not really the hotels fault but didn’t Expect it at a hotel on top of a race track, rather than city centre. Also the over priced local gin, that bar staff asked us to try, could have told us the difference in price! Extra yea bags in the room would be nice, and a cheeky biscuit

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure hotel that left me thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with modern furnishings. The attention to detail was evident, to the well-appointed bathroom. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's facilities. From the state-of-the-art fitness center to the luxurious spa, there was something for everyone. I took full advantage of the fitness center, which was equipped with the latest equipment and offered a wide range of workout options. After a long day , However, what truly set this hotel apart was its staff. Each and every member of the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. The staff went out of their way to anticipate my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. In summary, my stay at this hotel was an absolute delight.

I tried to order room service at 11:00 am as the menu in the room states 24hr room service and the woman I talked to on the phone told me food service didn't start until noon. Very unpleased at this as I was very hungry. I had asked the front desk staff about it and they said yes there is 24hr room service so I went back to my room and tried again to no avail. I checked out at 11:35 am and as I'm sitting in the lobby waiting for my transportation I see a young gentleman member of the staff delivering a tray of food to one of the rooms. I am not pleased as all I had for breakfast that morning was a bag of crisps.

The staff at Mercure were absolutely fantastic. Every staff member that came into contact with my (very chatty) 3 year old would interact with him. We stayed over the Christmas period and he was given a Santa tray to put outside the door on the night before Christmas. He woke up to the food being eaten and a gift left outside the door. Such an amazing experience for him. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great.

Could do with some slight upgrades here and there.
