Overall we had a very nice stay. The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Our second day of breakfast unfortunately was very different to the first day. Only one staff member was on during our time at breakfast who didn’t clear any tables until guests needed them which meant we were all surrounded by dirty tables full of dirty plates…which may I add that some were also piled up on other tables dirty plates when tables were cleared for guests resulting in more muck and chaos all around. It was such a shame and really spoilt ours and other guests breakfasts.

Was at a track day at Brands hatch the next morning so this was a perfect location. Room was clean and comfortable with all the touches you see from bigger hotels. Bathroom was clean and large. Bed was super comfy. Two bottles of water were left in the room which is a nice touch and something most smaller hotels don't think about. Staff were amazing especially the young man behind the bar who was also there at breakfast with a smile at 6.45 am !! Food was great in the bar - didn't eat at the restaurant - next time ! Breakfast served from 6.30 which was great for me as i had to be away by 7ish. Buffet style english breakfast and lots of cereals. Great sausages.

Nothing i can think of - oh if I'm being picky - sauces (tomato and brown) out at breakfast would have been a lovely touch.

Everything was lovely. Clean, attractive, the bar area and restaurant were nice and the bedroom was more than I expected. Really top quality. The staff were fabulous, polite, friendly and courteous.

I had an issue with a lost piece of clothing and the issue was handled very poorly by the General Manager. This issue could have been dealt with immediately but festered for two weeks. I provided eight rooms for a 2 night stay at a cost of over £2k but the GM couldn’t refund me the £38 for the lost item but finally relented after many e mails. Be aware!

- warm, well informed, greeting - bedroom was lovely and comfortable - cleaning staff did do a good job when they came in but do require improvement as on arrival, the shower head and floor weren't particularly clean. - discount on breakfast if you pre-book - lovely area and perfect for national trust holders - decorated nicely - throughout and front of hotel very clean and presentable - Karen is the perfect example of delivering excellent customer service - Deep listened and was accommodating - bed extremely comfy

- sharing nachos, could definitely improve to a higher quality especially for the price - professionalism, when two staff are having a disagreement - not to have Infront of customers - Monday morning staff member on ground floor, be mindful when customers are greeting you with a morning it's polite to at least smile back or say it back - especially as the rest of the team either showed great or/and excellent customer service.

The staff here are lovely. Its in a great location, close to the M25 but in a lovely rural area. Free parking on site, and staff were diligent about making sure we put our number plate into the parking system so as not to get a ticket. The hotel is very clean and the staff go out of their way to make you comfy. We had drinks in the bar which were lovely and a very nice Hot Chocolate. As well as the bar being very nice, there was a nice outside seating area for drinks. We cannot comment on food as we wanted a walk so went to the pub a couple of minutes walk away.

We loved our 1 day there. All the staff were so friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for us. We had an evening meal and breakfast the food was delicious. Except the sausage at breakfast was a little too spicy for us! Plenty of free parking and the grounds were beautiful

The only thing we didn't like was they needed more space for self serving breakfast as everything was on top of each other and no where to que. Also perhaps at breakfast there should be a sign at door saying please wait too be seated .

the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good. We like to visit National Trust residences and this was a perfect location to do this.

The bar service and restaurant was slow service due to lack of staff. when we were trying to book out there was a queue because the receptionist was absent for 15 minutes. I didn't like that it was a cashless place.

Welcoming, very clean room, food was plentiful and tasty.

The room was absolutely freezing when we arrived to the point that for the first 2 hrs we kept our coats on in the bedroom and it really didn't warm up for about 12 hrs - even then it hadn't reached the temperature set on the thermostat! Having spoken to several of the other guests, it would appear that this was a common problem although some rooms did warm quicker than others by the seems of it. Perhaps, knowing which rooms are to be allocated, it would be a suggestion to put the heating on in those rooms (especially when it is cold outside), even if only on a lower temperature in order to at least take the chill off. Our room was soooo cold that when you stood in the corridor outside the room door, you could actually feel the cold air coming under the door!

Location of hotel was good, easy to find too with plenty of free car parking. Nice modern bedroom and bathroom; shower was particularly lovely. Breakfast buffet was edible with eggs cooked to order and waiting staff friendly and attentive.

Before we arrived at the hotel it advertised a pizza restaurant and pizzas were offered on room service but when we went down to dinner there was no pizza on the menu. I ordered chicken arrabiatta (a spicy Italian tomato dish) what arrived was a creamy curry sauce with tiny cubes of (rubbery) chicken in it and penne pasta on the side. Very disappointing!!

Super size and comfy bed spacious room lovely shower

see through door connecting bathroom to bedroom?????? never known anything like it and totally unacceptable. Bathroom layout tight and awkward no where to place cosmetics etc to comfortably access mirror and do make up etc... very small and inaccessible area to make tea and coffee - much wider access needed for this and space to safely make drinks. broken kettle On arrival , there were previous occupants dirty and piled up trays from a meal stacked up right outside our door - really not welcoming. Passed on breakfast - way too expensive at 17.50 PER HEAD - found a lovely cafe locally and got a full english brekky with drinks for us both for under £20
