Room was good, bathroom less so, basic, but clean and functional. Dinner good, top end of value for money, close to expensive overall for in-house services. Health suite / pool tired and needs refreshed but again operational and useable. Breakfast was taste, albeit bit frantic from a staffing point of view.

Price felt a wee bit punchy. Staff were really friendly, but partially with breakfast it needs more pro activity. Cups running our for coffee, machine out of milk, glasses limited for juices. some breakfast items out and not replenished. tables needed cleared and refreshed. Wait times for getting seated. Sauces needed replenished. This did not all happen at one time, but over 3 days, there were multiple of these arising and wait times were such that food often got cold or you were out of step with fellow guests. Note staff were very busy, but alway being reactive rather than proactive. Or generally too much to do, when people get pulled of the floor to support a guest request etc....

The breakfast was excellent, although we swam before breakfast and didn't get down to breakfast until 9.30 there was plenty of really nice food on offer. My granddaughters were disappointed that the pancake machine was out of order, but the staff said not to worry the chef would make some, the girls were very happy. The restaurant staff were friendly & helpful both at breakfast and when we had our evening meal.

The room although very clean & overall comfortable was a little shabby around the and was in need of some refurbishment .

Was not expecting a lot from this hotel but can truly say it exceeded my expectations. Check in was so smooth. Room was amazing that supplied all the little perks. Shower gels, shampoo, tea coffee, beds were comfy and clean. Housekeeping came the next morning room was spotless. Hotel had lovely decor and even more prettier Xmas decor. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely too. All in all me and my family had a lovely 2 day stay and if we came back to Maidstone would definitely stay here again.

Paying for parking.

One of the best hotels where I have stayed! It actually has swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym and relaxation SPA! Pam is in charge of the massage 💆‍♀️ in the relaxation spa area which is incredible! Really good value for money as 1 hr full body massage cost me £68, totally worth it, every penny! She is really flexible as accommodated my booking last minute so perfect if you are travelling in business, just book through the hotel. Rooms were also quite good, with a bath and lovely coffee and tea, room service inclusive with their very unique Mac and Cheese which deserves the try (with pull pork and jalapeños)! I really recommend staying in this lovely place, totally family friendly 💜

Things not clear displayed like where are the services or how to get access eg. Gym, Wifi, spa etc

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and meal portions were great and filling. It was nice that there were no time restrictions for children to use the pool, and offering a free menu for kids was a lovely touch.

However, the double bed was quite small, and the sofa we requested for our child wasn’t very comfortable. As a result, the three of us had to share the bed, which was quite challenging. Additionally, the towels provided for the pool had some stains on them, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Most of all the generally very young staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. The standard of the breakfast was varied and decent quality. Overall it was clean but the rooms were a little "tired" and the bathroom would undoubtedly benefit from an upgrade.

Not happy about having to pay a daily rate of £5.00 per day for car parking as we were guests staying there? On the booking the first room we were given was for a disabled or special needs person? I'm guessing it was my mistake on booking but I don't remember seeing the option beyond wanting a standard double room? Perhaps this needs to be made more obvious when booking. However as mentioned earlier the woman on the reception ( sorry couldn't see a name) was exceptionally helpful and moved us to a standard room the next day, without any issue or qualms!

The rooms were spacious and the staff where very friendly also the breakfast was lovely a wide selection

The room service menu needed to have a option for children size meals as my children left alot as they could not finish it, and maybe more children friendly choices I know this was on offer if eaten down stairs but my children wanted to stay in their room to eat so their was no option on room service menu. also nearly everything had either chips or skin on fries with it it would have been nice to have a option of jacket potatoes with various fillings or mash potato or pasta

All staff and reception personnel. Lovely lobby and restaurant. Pool, hot tub, sauna. Loved the breakfast provided (booked with this option) & was worth it 👌 Other parts of hotel outdated, but signs of updating in progress.

No elevator. Not an issue for me. But other family members unable to do a lot of stairs. Hotel website does disclose that there is none. But missed on booking hotel.

The staff was very Hospitable, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was great.

More varieties in food selection. Need to not cook with as much salt, to cater for and accommodate people with health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.. The room was cold and had to get help for the heating to be turned on. The cleaners did not come in and clean my room and change the towels. We had to ask for it to done. Not acceptable but forgive them.

The staff were lovely and welcoming and the location was great for the event we were attending

For the price I paid for a room without breakfast I was disappointed with the room which feel a bit tired and due an upgrade The bathroom sink was very old and marked with what looked like burn marks. The room also suffered with my pet peeve in hotels, no plugs near the bed and terrible lighting. Having said that the hotel as a whole was very smart and the staff welcoming and professional.
