Set in lovely grounds. Friendly staff. With a couple of exceptions, the rooms were very well considered. Enjoyed the pool and spa, and EV charger on site

Difficult to contact by ‘phone prior to stay. Noisy grounds next to Brandshatch/motorway. Uninspiring menu for evening meal. Could do with more useable sockets in executive rooms ie we charged 2 ‘phones and plugged in kettle, meaning no socket for hairdryer (and no mirror near socket). Some other sockets weren’t uk compatible. EV charger was blocked by 2 drivers using the parking space (but not chargers). Reception should insist on taking number plates of guests in order to contact drivers when cars need to be removed (no rapid EV chargers locally otherwise).

The breakfast waiting staff and the bar waiting staff were very attentive. The reception staff were very helpful and cheery. In particular the reception manager Iva who was super helpful and cheerful. The spa reception staff were very helpful too and the spa was nice and quiet.

Nothing to not like but we were in a room on the ground floor and unfortunately the person above us was quite noisy and the floorboards creaky. It would have been nice to have had some nuts and seeds for breakfast and more of a granola type selection. The yoghurt which stood on its own wasn’t particularly cold. Having said that overall the breakfast was good

From the moment we arrived we were treated impeccably. All of the staff we met were absolutely wonderful. Polite, caring, considerate, knowledgeable, went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. All of the staff had time to chat with us. The food we ordered was fresh, and presented wonderfully. We had lunch, evening meal and breakfast. The whole hotel and spa was extremely clean and tidy. We managed to use the pool and hot tub, which was very relaxing. A real bonus for us was the parking area. It felt secure and with plenty of spaces during our stay. Also the convenience of visiting Brands Hatch, literally just around the corner. We will definitely be staying again, hopefully for a longer stay so we can enjoy a few treatments, which looked amazing and compatibly priced.

We had travelled down from scotland at the last minute, we arrived late but the man at the check-in made us feel very welcome. In the morning, Christina was our server for breakfast she went above and beyond despite being really busy and also went the extra mile. The original room we had was a bit noisy so Aina the receptionist had accommodated us and we moved rooms, she also helped us with our restaurant booking for family we hadn't seen for a while. Caroline in the restaurant was fantastic, food was great, lovely relaxing atmosphere we left late, but she was still really friendly and definitely didn't rush us despite it probably being well after her shift! Grounds are amazing, and it was dog friendly despite us leaving him with family

We stopped here on our way home travelling from Spain, arriving very early our room was ready and they showed us straight to it so we could get settled. We had our two dogs which in our room had dog bowls, treats and dog beds. They were so accommodating for us to have our daughter visit us for the day. We had lunch and evening meal, Which was exceptional. Food is top quality. The staff are so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely make this our stop of stay when travelling to the euro tunnel.

Loved all of it

Our experience with the dinner and breakfast service was exceptional, with attentive staff who remembered our names, adding a personal touch. The servers were fantastic, taking the time to explain the dishes and making sure we had everything we needed. My partner and I also enjoyed the sauna, and the reception staff were very helpful in guiding us there. Unfortunately, because we only stayed one night and didn’t book a therapy session in advance, we missed out on that. However, as kind gesture, the hotel allowed us to check out a bit later.

Unfortunately, we were unable to access certain amenities, such as therapy sessions, because we didn't book them in advance as part of our hotel stay. These sessions tend to fill up quickly, so it would be helpful if the hotel could reach out to new guests to remind them about availability and encourage early bookings.

Good restaurant and bar food, good room service, lovely room with a very comfy bed, we didn't want to get out of in the morning. For our evening meal, our Waiter, Joshy was fabulous as was the food. And all staff. My partner had a couple of elemis treatments on the second day, which she said was good value for money, while I used the spa facilities. You can use the spa even after you check out at 11.

Although the breakfast food was good, the buffet style doesn't really sit well with the rest of the experience, I think it should be table service to match the class of the rest of the hotel stay.

Beautiful location. From start to finish, we had an amazing time, made extra special by Debbie (receptionist) who went above and beyond her role to make us feel welcome, I left feeling like I'd known her for years. Anastasia for the bar service (Orange wine, rocks almost as good as you) and Tamzin for her gentle smile and super service. All the staff here were warm and welcoming, but Debbie, Tamzin and Anastasia elevated our stay to the max! Thank you

Breakfast was a bit pricy for what it was.

It was one of our best stays! Our room was lovely, and the hotel felt quiet and peaceful inside. And the staff are amazing! The receptionist, waiters, cleaning of course. Seems that I’ve missed this level of kindness, gentle positivity and professionalism - I would be glad to meet them again!

I’m autistic, so we asked for a more quiet room, and we received a kind letter that we can be reassured that we’ll get a quiet room. Maybe it was one of the quietest rooms, we don’t know. But it was right next to the stairs, and I heard people walking behind the doors at night, and steps also radiated to my bed - so my first night wasn’t easy, And unfortunately it appeared that there’s a noisy road nearby. I know it won’t be a problem for somebody, it’s just quite a big deal for me, especially when we wanted to escape noises of London.

room was good, clean and spacious, breakfast was excellent, had a meal and afternoon tea in the restaurant, food and service were very good. bar was fine and the cocktails were very good. EV charging on site was a relief and even better it was working ( unlike a lot of hotel changepoints. So I didn't have to go searching for a changepoint before setting off back home.

Not easy to find, perhaps that was just my Satnav as it took me all around the perimeter of the hotel down single track roads to the rear of the hotel, which was the service entrance, before I eventually ended up at the main entrance. Didn't try the spa so couldn't comment on that but all in all a very enjoyable stay,
