The location was very nice, on the beach, with two heated pools, grills and lounging, close to dining and shopping. It will be better when the nearby pier is repaired and accessible. They also had nice laundry facilities on site, for a fee, as well as many free day use items including beach chairs, bicycles and pool floats, etc. The housekeeping service was also very helpful. And the kitchenette was very useful for making stovetop meals at the resort.

The furniture in the rooms was a bit dated and not well functional for a beach-side location. The floor and other aspects of the room could use some updating.

Great location right on the beach with plenty of chairs for lounging, small but clean pool, clean facilities, friendly staff. We did not have a car and loved that restaurants and shops were a short walk away. Used the local circuit by the sea for a ride to Publix and a further out restaurant when we didn't feel like walking. The front desk recommended Square Grouper SoFlo as a snorkeling guide. Conveniently located steps from the Windjammer and fun snorkeling right from the beach. It was a great value!

Nothing--accommodations weren't luxurious but had everything we needed, were clean and well kept. Our 13 year old slept on the hide-a-bed/couch. It was fine for her but maybe wouldn't be good for a full sized or older adult.

Everything! The resorts location was amazing, right on the beach, and only a 3 min walk to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. They provided you with so many value-added options like beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, etc. Resort was extremely clean and well maintained. The entire area is so vibrant, safe and chill, and our first time to Lauderdale by the Sea and the Windjammer will not be our last.

Our studio room was a little smaller than we would have liked, but we'll be sure to grab a bigger one next time.

Probably the best value for the money. We got room 16 which was located facing the beach and it was a remarkable and romantic getaway! The staff was super friendly. Alex at the front desk called me a day in advance before leaving to ask me if I needed anything for our departure. And Bailey even went out his way to say he was want going to be at the windjammer all week and wanted to wish us a wonderful stay. Moreover, the guests were kind and friendly! We loved it and would definitely stay again!

The location was excellent and was perfect for our honeymoon. We stayed in room 16 which was on the second floor directly facing the ocean. We loved sitting in the patio area outside and watching the sunrise each morning. It was not a private patio, but there was minimal traffic and other guests were friendly and respectful of the area reserved for our room. Bailey greeted us at check-in and was super friendly and informative. The facilities were very clean, and the maids were great! Some other things we liked were being able to borrow beach chairs and books! It was also so nice being within walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. We barely used our car the whole week and walked somewhere new for dinner every night. We definitely want to come back to the Windjammer in the future!

The bed in our room was not very comfortable, which was not ideal for our week long stay. New beds would make this the absolute perfect place for a young couple like us!

The staff was excellent from the staff at the desk to the mechanic to the cleaning staff. The room was excellent. We had a 1 bedroom with the living room, dining area and kitchenette. The kitchen was completely equipped with everything needed to prepare meals - but for the food of course. The room was exceptionally clean. There are 2 pools on the property that were great. BBQ's and a game area near on of the pools as well. The location was the absolute BEST. The Windjammer is right on the beach- no street to cross to get onto the sand. It's located in a nice quiet area that is within walking distance to everything. about 1-2 blocks away is the main strip I would say with several restaurants and bars for anything you would want to eat. Lots of outside dining and live music everywhere! Also on a different block just one block up were more restaurants, a Walgreens, a liquor store and more. This was ideal!!

I was not completely happy with the bed. The pillows were fantastic and my husband had no complaints. For me, I would have preferred a softer bed but on the day before we left we found out that I could have asked for a mattress topper that would have solved my problem.

Right on the beach. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. All beach requirements (umbrellas, towels, chairs …) available at no charge. Well appointed room. Small kitchenette functional. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Grills, games, lounges all available at poolside. Noise outside we could not hear in our room. Parking onsite and free.

Shower is the size of an old fashioned phone booth. Barely room to turn around or bend over. Two nights we were awakened by noises in the attic/wall above the TV. We think they were roof rats. Noise didn’t last long, but did wake us. Otherwise is was very quiet. Bed was extremely firm!

Great location. Staff were so friendly and extremly helpful. There were two pools to choose from which were heated and the hotel has everything you needed - beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys for kids. We weren't sure if the room space would be big enough but we were pleasantly suprised the living area was slightly more spacious than the pictures showed. We had a crib (provided by hotel) up in the space and still there was enough space. We had a cute little sitting space out back which was great for breakfast time. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils too. Great location for walking to downtown restaurants and beach front. The place is well maintained. Bonus that they don't charge an excessive resort fee.

Bathroom was a bit small especially with a toddler but we made it work.

We appreciated the use of elevator to bring up luggage, view from our room, access to beach, pools, nearby restaurants, Walgreens, Publix, use of bicycles.

Pools were very busy. Would have appreciated access to snacks/ drinks on site. Rain...

Location in LBTS is awesome, a short walk to everything. It is right on the beach, loved it. New beach chairs mid way thru stay, love the new Tommy Bahama chairs. Heated pool was a huge bonus, did not expect that! We spent each late afternoon in that pool. I love the vaulted ceiling in our room (room 5) as it made the room feel so much larger. I would definitely stay again, but need to get rooms 2-15 for sure. Many of the rooms in the second building faces public parking.

New bikes are needed, these were quite old, simple Wal-Mart cruiser bikes, so not a huge expense for them but would make a better experience. Also, the mattresses were stiff and thin. My daughter, my wife and I had to swap sleeping on the sleeper sofa cause it was too uncomfortable for one person to sleep on it two nights in a row.
