From the minute my wife and I arrived at Monemvasia, we were both most impressed. There were two young men who took great care of our luggage and when we arrived at the hotel (see photos) Moni Emvasis Luxury Suites, we were made to feel that everyone was our immediate friend. We walked the narrow streets, walked the mid-village area and enjoyed the unbelievably scenery. My main reason for going was the fact that my Greek grandfather (Papou) was born there. He surely walked the same streets as we. More importantly, we made the trek up the "Rock" which was no small feat. My wife told me "your Papou was here" so there was I. After we visited the Church at the very top, we made the trek back down... harder for sure. It was then that my wife said "you've been up...now you must go down...into the Aegean Sea and swim as your Papou surely did". What! And I did. The hotel made up fresh chocolate croissants and cappuccino every morning - all 3 mornings we were there. I also enjoyed and highly recommend their Eggs Benedict Salmon...also enjoyed every morning. Fact is, the food was so delicious that we ate at Moni Emvasis every night. The breakfast was Free...included in the price which you can't believe but it's true. The 3 dinners we enjoyed with red wine (8 glasses plus one bottle over the 3 evenings total cost was $240 or so. We wanted to stay one more night but the dates din;'t work so we will go back to Monemvasia one day. I highly recommend this hotel and the Rock Village people are like family.

There was not one thing we didn't like except except a longer stay next time!

We stayed at some incredible stops during our 2 week road-trip through the peloponnese, but Moni Emvasis was our favorite stay! We can't say enough about how incredible the location, room, staff (shoutout Alexandra!), and FOOD was. Make a reservation for dinner, the included breakfast (best we had anywhere) will convince you! I don't think we ever stopped smiling from the moment we arrived. Beautiful, wonderful, luxurious, unforgettable. THANK YOU!

Amazing experience to stay in the Kastro. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our daughter loved her bed in the loft with the green ladder and the little gate she could close at night. The breakfast was excellent, with a great view of the lower Kastro from the restaurant.

The logistics were a bit challenging on arrival - had to drop the luggage at the gate, then wait for my husband to find parking & walk back to the gate, then had to look for the hotel while one of us stayed with the luggage, and eventually carry all the stuff up the stairs. Would have been easier if someone from the hotel could have met us at the gate.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The room surpassed the expectations from the photos. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on our terrace was absolutely lovely.

I have no qualms about any part of this stay. My only concern was that the hotel would be diffiicult to find. I expected it would be difficult to find but the signage was spot on and helpful.

Lovely clean spacious room. Everything to make our stay comfortable had been thought of. Great location close to the entrance to the castle made leaving luggage easier. Wonderful breakfast, and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

The room was very nice, the bed extremely comfortable and the views to die for Also the breakfast was amazing We also had dinner at the restaurant, it was the best meal we've had in all of our holiday We'll definitely be back Thank you to the wonderful staff that made it the best stay

Absolutely everything was AMAZING at our stay at Moni Emvasis Luxury Suites in Monemvasia. The owner Nectaria has created everything at Moni Emvasis with such care and attention to detail and all on an outstanding level.

Wonderful quaint hotel with a spectacular view from the room. We were very happy with our stay. Staff were wonderful, especially Nectarina who was very caring and quick to help with anything. Fantastic location. All the facilities in the room were wonderful! Bed, bathroom, balcony...all of it!

Our hotel room balcony had the most amazing views of the castle grounds. Beds were super comfortable and breakfast was a culinary experience of the Mediterranean cuisine.

Amazing place! At the entrance to the town which allows easy access. The breakfast was excellent and the host took care of everything we needed and was very helpful. Huge room, very clean and with a magical balcony with a sea view. Enjoyed every moment!
