What a special place… From the moment we arrived at Les Rose in Ducey, we didn’t feel like guests.We felt truly welcomed. As if we were staying with a dear friend. Nathalie, our host, is a woman with a heart of gold. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. The room was beautiful: bright, peaceful, and decorated with so much love. Everything felt just right from the soft linens to the fresh flowers on the table. We had a lovely view of the garden, where the morning sun greeted us each day. It felt like a little oasis of calm. Every morning, we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by Nathalie. Fresh croissants, homemade jams and yogurth, ripe fruit… and always a warm smile. We felt seen, cared for, and truly pampered. But what touched us most was the atmosphere. The house radiates charm and authenticity, but it’s Nathalie who brings it to life. She gave us tips for local outings, shared stories about the region’s history, and took the time to connect with us. We had wonderful conversations, laughter, and moments of genuine connection. For us, Les Rose wasn’t just a place to stay it was a memory we’ll carry with us. A place where we found peace, warmth, and a sense of belonging. We’ll definitely be back. Staying at Nathalie’s place was just great! The apartment is stylish, chic, spacious and spotlessly clean. Nathalie is a great host - she was so kind to cook for me & kids homemade cakes every morning, and breakfast was the best part of the stay when we had chance to chat a little. Che mattresses were just perfect for travellers, and from an open window you can hear nothing but the birds. The location is just 15-20 min by car from Mont Saint Michele. I definitely recommend to stay at La Rose de Ducey if you search for quite and homelike place! Thanks a lot for everything! Hope to come back again!

After a particularly difficult 24 hours of travel, her compassion and responsiveness were a breath of fresh air. She made sure everything was ready for us with such kindness and urgency—it meant more than we can say. The house itself is a beautifully restored 18th-century gem, lovingly decorated with style and comfort in mind. It blends historic charm with modern luxury seamlessly. Our room was immaculate, with an enormous, cloud-like bed and a serene atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Every corner of the house reflects Nathalie’s thoughtful touch, from the spotless interiors to the lush, tranquil garden that feels like a private escape. Breakfast was a highlight—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with many items lovingly homemade by Nathalie herself. It was a feast for both the eyes and the palate, and a perfect start to each day. Above all, what made our stay so unforgettable was Nathalie herself. There is nothing to not like

Nathalie was a very accommodating host and sent across details of restaurants etc. in advance. We were able to store our bicycles in the private garage and Nathalie was even kind enough to print a bike ticket for the train that I'd forgotten to print beforehand. We were 3 friends staying for 1 night in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was really comfortable with lots of care taken in the presentation throughout. A great breakfast was provided downstairs, and ingredients were fresh and top quality. Nathalie had even baked a couple of cakes!

There really isn't anything to dislike at all!

La Rose de Ducey was a perfect stay for our family of six. Nathalie was a superb host: friendly, helpful and a great communicator. The home is lovely, very clean and beautifully appointed. The beds were large (king size!) and very comfortable. The suite was a perfect option for our four kids and we all enjoyed the sitting room as a place to congregate together. We would have loved to stay longer than one night. Breakfast was amazing with Nathalie’s delicious plum cake, fresh pastries, lattes, beautiful fruit salad and perfectly cooked eggs. There is also a very large and lovely private garden with gorgeous flowers we would have loved to explore if we’d had more time. Thank you for a delightful stay!

Ms. Nathalie is truly a fantastic host. While planning my trip to Mont Saint-Michel, I reviewed various accommodations and decided on her place based on multiple positive reviews. Even before check-in, she provided detailed information about the accommodation and the village, including recommendations for restaurants. Since I traveled by car, she also kindly shared useful tips about parking, making it easy for me to park and find the accommodation. Her explanations and house rules were very simple and clear. The facilities were impeccably clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom and shower were also spotless. Furthermore, the personalized breakfast prepared by her was exceptionally satisfying. In addition to the menu we requested, she even baked a homemade cake for us. Although I didn’t try it as I’m not fond of sweet foods in the morning, her thoughtfulness was evident. The ambiance of the accommodation was sophisticated and stylish. We also had the chance to meet her adorable dog, who seemed very gentle and friendly. I will definitely revisit this place on my next trip to Mont Saint-Michel with family or friends. Nathalie and Laurent were great hosts at the Maison d’hôtes de charme La Rose de Ducey, and we enjoyed our stay in their lovely accommodation. The breakfasts were extra special, featuring home-baked goods as well as those from the local bakery. Nathalie was extremely helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, with a highlight being the Scriptorial in Avranches, which was a wonderful addition to our trip to Mont Saint-Michel.

The location is very well situated as you can access easily by car all important sites like Mt St Michel, D-day beaches, etc. The house is very chic and gives 19th century vibes. If you want to feel like a king on vacation. Garden is superb. Host (Nathalie) is very thoughtful we felt very spoiled.

A very interesting place where it is definitely cool to stay. Very good location if you want to see nearby tourist spots. The apartments are located in a nice village with a few restaurants. The host was an angel, so much care and attention. A spacious room that was luxuriously decorated, available water, information about the history of the building and the surrounding area. Very good breakfast in a beautiful dining room served by the hostess herself. The breakfast is complemented by the hostess's life story and good suggestions on how to spend the day in the area.

It should be taken into account that the apartments are in the same building as the apartments where the owners live, therefore noise and disturbance are not allowed.

What a fabulous place to stay. This property has been lovingly renovated and feels like a friends home you are visiting, rather than paid accommodation. Nathalie explained where the parking was, close by. It is free and a two minute walk. Our room was huge and amazing. It was the Deluxe King Suite. The bed was huge and very, very comfortable. We had chairs to sit on and so much space. Lots of natural light with opening windows. There is no aircon, but we didn't need it as there was a fan. The bathroom was also very big, with double sinks and lots of lovely products to use. The shower had lots of hot water. The toilet is separate and is also in a large space, with a hand basin. Al the fixtures and fittings are of good quality and a lot of thought has gone into the choice of tiles, furnishings and making the suite comfortable and luxurious. The property is full of amazing furniture, artwork, personal treasures and flowers. Our room overlooked the big back garden, which has a terrace to sit and have breakfast on. The breakfast was amazing. Beautiful, set out in the formal dining room. We had fresh juice, individual bowls of fresh fruits, fresh pastries and bread, cheese, jams, homemade yogurt, cereal and fresh coffee. There are many restaurants and bars close by and it is easy to walk to all the local sites as well. Ducey is a very pretty and friendly town and we enjoyed our stay here.
