It was very nice. Cheryl was great. She greeted me and helped to get the right rooms.

No fault of the hotel except if it had thicket ceilings and walls, thumping from the room above kept us awake. I called the room myself and the front desk talked with them. It was children running and jumping from bed to bed , I think. They continued after several times. Finally security gave them a harsh warning. I hate to be that person, but we had driven 10 plus hours and we were getting up early the next day to do it again. We went to bed by 9 and I kept waiting for the jumping to stop. I finally called at 10:15. However, it was after 11:30 before they stopped.

TRU has become my go-to hotel brand. They are consistently excellent. This property is no exception. Everything was superb. TRU caters to a younger clientele. And I get that. One thing that I don't care for is the "music" that they pipe into their lobbies. I am an old rocker. At one or two TRU properties, I've actually gotten up and taken my breakfast back to my room to enjoy it in quiet. At this one, they had the volume turned way down. Barely audible. I loved it. Kudos! That aside, this was another exceptional TRU stay: Clean, comfortable, and quiet. And wonderful staff, also.

Clean, safe, quite and big rooms. The lady at front desk during check in was very polite and friendly.

It would be better to have a kettle in the room, coffee and hot water which is available 24 hours on the ground floor are usually not hot. the only hot breakfast which we can eat at the breakfast as a Muslim society is egg, but when you put it under the same cover with pork (sausage) we can not it. Maybe you can put them under the separate cover.

Breakfast was decent for the price.

Toiletries and personal hygiene items would have been nice, e.g., toothbrushes and toothpaste. Nice to have, but its not something that I didn't like. The microwave in the room would have been nice too since I am traveling with kids; they tend to want their food warm, but there is one in the lobby, so it's not a problem.

We loved the welcome we received upon our arrival at the hotel. The staff was kind, pleasant, and smiling, which was really nice. The hotel is new and very clean. The facilities are excellent, and the mattress and pillows are extremely comfortable! The parking is spacious and free. There are several dining options around the hotel.

The bathroom lacks proper ventilation, as it was very humid!

Breakfast was good for continental breakfast. Very clean . Staff were excellent. This property was in great condition. Room was cleaned daily.

The location is not in the best part of Charleston (n Charleston) but the area of the hotel we felt safe. It's located beside several other hotels.

Exceptional, new and modern room. Clean and comfortable beds. The service is also excellent. The front desk ladies greeted us with warm smile and patient service. Every details in the hotel is just considerate. Loved it.

Not a thing. If I have to be nit picky I’d say there’s no coffee machine or microwave in the room but we went down and get coffee at 1st floor.

The ladies working the breakfast area we not polite. We also wish the breakfast was served till 10 on weekdays like on weekends because most people come all the last little bit and everything runs out and they dont restock so your left with what you can get which is hard with picky kids. The pancake machine didnt work well it would be great if there was a waffle machine to help out.

The location was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Having breakfast on site was convenient.

When we passed staff, we were the first ones to greet them. Most of them didn't even offer a smile. The breakfast buffet ran out of food. When the attendant was notified, she seemed irritated that we brought it to her attention. Then we were told it would be at least 15 minutes before they would be refilled. At checkout we were informed that we couldn't get a receipt because of booking through a third party. We have not had this to be an issue at other places.

The Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine - could have been a few more options. The thing we liked the most was the lobby and all the activity that was going on. It was like a big congregating area. Our guys loved the pool table and enjoyed playing several games and then we sat in the lobby and just doorDash-ed dinner and ate in the lobby - it was just an open and inviting area. And my grandkids loved the chair swings! The coffee/tea/hot chocolate station in the lobby was a bonus also! Rooms were very comfortable and very clean and had lots of outlets to be able to charge all our electronic devices, loved the showers and the option of the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the bathroom, and the large TV's were awesome! Overall it was a great stay!
