Set in beautifully maintained gardens with a lovely pool, this is a great place to stay in Negombo. Most people only stay the night before or after their flight, so if you want a lovely pool to yourselves for a couple of days, this is the place to stay. It’s easy to get to from Colombo too. If you want to go to Negombo Town or beach it is just a short yuk Rukeyser ride away, easily booked using the excellent PickMe app. We only had breakfast at the hotel, and that was fine, but they do serve dinner too, though there are no vegetarian options. The manager keeps everything just so and the. Rest of the staff are cheery.

Lovely Villa set in secluded gardens, spacious room, very helpful staff.

Seemed to be in a remote, tricky to find location.

The hotel building was lovely, very well kept, clean with beautiful gardens and two swimming pools. It felt very safe too. Good, spacious room and bathroom.

The staff weren't overly friendly as we had experienced around the island. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner and the waiter (also the man on the reception) put the wine bottle on the table and walked off! We had to go over to the kitchen to ask for a cork screw! A little bit disappointed with breakfast for the price we paid. Small plate of fruit, toast with tiny squares of butter and an omelette the size of a small saucer! Even in cheaper places we had always had a good breakfast.

A good option for a stay near the airport. nice colonial house. We paid for the biggest room with balcony. Nice pool and the staff did an effort to make a candlelight private rice and curry dinner for us and some nice flowers on the bed for our wedding anniversary. Transfer included to airport was perfect. Staff came to collect our luggage in the room 10 min before departure which was helpful as we had to leave at 4 am. Good value for money!

We did not have hot water in the room but there was a major thunderstorm when we were there and it might have affected some fuses.

After a long flight, this is the best place to ‘land’ for a day or two. Super chilled garden setting between two lovely colonial style houses. Two pools. Lovely staff. Simple but nourishing food. Airport shuttle service was fab.

The place is immaculate, super clean, but our room was showing wear especially in the bathroom - shower a bit hanging off, toilet flush wouldn’t work and cistern ran all night. To be honest, not the end of the world,the room rate was very fair, so difficult to complain about a few minor issues. The food was sufficient home-style , but I’d happily have paid more for something more ‘special’.

Beautiful building, lovely pool, friendly and helpful staff. It's a good location if you don't want to be in negombo proper, it's a 15 min tuk tuk ride away from negombo beach and lagoon which was fine for us as our agenda was to relax after a long flight. It was very tranquil, surrounded by beautiful nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a real oasis.

The room was a little run down and the restaurant was expensive and had a limited menu (don't order the chicken), but was very convenient after a long flight. There are plenty of options available in negombo a short tuk tuk ride away.

This place is paradise! The lush gardens with the two pools, the architecture and the rooms, big and stylish. Nice meals too! The night we left, 4 pp were there to help us out with luggage and transportation to the airport! Wow, so super kind! The sea was nothing special so we decided, before going home, to rest from a hectic last days touring, two days more inland! How wonderful it was to connect with nature in this awesome place….

This hotel is the perfect introduction to your holiday in Sri Lanka. It is close to the airport, clean, comfortable and well run. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, large, with comfortable beds the service is good and the grounds are peaceful. We enjoyed a traditional Sri Lankan dinner, which was excellent.

The property offers filtered water, which is probably fine to drink, but it would be nice to be able to buy bottled water at the hotel. Also more poolside sunbeds would be nice. (these may have been available, but I did not ask).

We stayed one night at this beautiful villa before early flight from Colombo. And I regret that we couldn’t stay longer. Excellent place to relax before or after the active trip around Sri Lanka. Large and clean swimming pool covered with the shadow of the trees, huge garden, calm and cosy atmosphere of colonial villa. Excellent food at the restaurant! Great design of the villa and the rooms, comfortable bed and pillows. Hot water which is also very important. Enough parking space.

The only thing which is missing is the cattle in the room to make tea or coffee.

The property is stunning. I could have stayed relaxing here for a week. Beautiful gardens and pools. Food was delicious, there was always heaps!!

The airport transfer didn’t work, the incoming flight was delayed so the taxi just left. This was annoying at 5am in the morning. The dinner portions are huge. I could never finish them - perhaps they could offer some smaller options to prevent food waste
