The gym. It is actually a fully-equipped proper standalone gym, not a small, typical hotel one. Modern and fast elevators with almost no waiting time. The location is great too. Friendly, polite and helpful staff.

I despised the classical analog room door lock, which barely worked. Imagine having to pee and get quickly inside the room to use the bathroom yet you have to find the lucky spot and the fine movement to make the key actually work. The Wifi wasn't very stable neither.

Arriving earlier at the hotel, accommodation was provided 2 hours earlier than the standard check-in time. The room is well soundproofed enough, we were not bothered by noise from either the hallway or other rooms. The conditioner allows you to set the temperature regime and the blowing speed that allowed us to feel relaxed even in summer. The cleanliness of the number did not leave critical impressions. Breakfast offers a variety of standard foods, at least it provides both hot and cold cooked , nothing special but offers a minimal satiety for start for exploring the cultural and commercial facilities in the area.

The hotel itself is an old concrete building. A cosmetic refreshment would be welcome at least both externally and internally. The bathroom leaves an ambiguous impression. Some elements such as the towel rail and the shower faucet were about to be disassembled at the first touch, which would pose a certain health risk. The high level of the bathtub represents certain challenges to get in or out of the bathroom, thus requiring additional caution, especially for older people or people with special needs. A more complex bathroom repair is definitely more than advisable.

The location is perfect - walking distance to various tourist attractions and also to shops, specialty coffee places and restaurants. The free access to the hotel indoor pool is also an asset. The breakfast is diverse, with plenty of food. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - from the reception ladies to the cleaning staff everyone was very nice.

Not necessarily that I didn't like it, but the bathroom could use some upgrading :)

It's a very well-kept socialist hotel. While rooms are all refurbished (and clean and comfortable, although rather basic), the lobby and the common spaces for breakfast and lunch/dinner are still in their original, amazing shape. Don't miss them, if you are into this kind of decor, they are truly stunning. Good Wi-Fi and free parking lots in front of the hotel. And thanks so much to the extra friendly staff attending reception and breakfast service for letting me photograph anything I wanted around, I appreciated that really a lot!

Clean room and bed linen, towels. Excelent location. Decent breakfast, but less varied than in previous years. Friendly and helpful restaurant staff.

Old furniture, no slippers in the room. Although I asked for a nice view, it was disregarded, even though the hotel was far from full. Price/quality ratio a bit high, probably due to the location.

The hotel offers a beautiful view of the Palace of Culture, which is undoubtedly its highlight. The rooms are of standard size, but the bathrooms feel outdated and could benefit from renovation. The continental breakfast is decent, though nothing exceptional.

The staff, while professional, appears tired and could benefit from increased motivation and support from management.

The price is amazing for the location and for the facilities. The hotel is in the city center in the nice area of the Palace. You have free access to the pool and sauna area. The staff is very friendly and the bed is very comfortable.

The hotel is old and it reminds you a bit of the comunist time, but everything is functional and very confortabile.

Despite appearances, everything works; water pressure is good, the shower is nice and hot, the air con coped OK despite the 35degC+ termperatures outside. Breakfast was generous and robust, but might be problematic for vegans. Good coffee from 3 coffee machines so there is no queue. Location right by the Palas food court makes varied evening meals a breeze.

No kettle / coffee / tea making facilities in the room unfortunately for those checking out before breakfast. The general condition of the hotel is somewhat tatty, but some might say that's part of the charm.

Stayed here with my parents during the week-end of Jun 11-13, 2022. Pretty hot outside, like 28 C (82 F) during the day and 21 C (70 F) during the night. I left the window wide open during the sleep at night. I am a deep sleeper and the humming from the nearby buildings behind the hotel as well as some distant music on Sat night didnt bother me. There is no air conditioning, but you should know that by now. I had a thermometer in the room which showed 25 C (77 F) during the stay. Other than that I picked up this hotel for the price and location. Walking distance to anything city center. The staff was friendly and my call regarding a TV issue was solved in a timely manner. As of June 11 2022 the towels were changed daily and the sheets every 3 days. The mini fridge was very efficient, I actually took the water bottle out as it was too cold for me. Decent sized bathroom. The shower never got clogged and had a nice water pressure. Clean room and bathroom. Our rooms were both on the 11th floor. The parking ticket charges will be waved by the receptionist upon checking out. Taxis available at all times and conveniently located across the street.

Nothing negative to mention here.

Perfect location, clean room. Quite old furniture, but functional. The bathroom was clean, but the shower needs renovation. Perfect bed and pillow.

I could hear the noise from the ventilation system or the air conditioning units from outside.
