Nice set up, good lounge, restaurant and outside eating terrace. Off the beaten track and very quiet. Bedrooms were pleasantly decorated and lovely spacious bathroom in the room we had.

Sadly no aircon, but was aware of that when booking. Would have been a nice touch to have had electric fans in the rooms but sadly not provided. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. Maybe some better training for the waiter whose people skills were not so great (he was very opinionated about how food should be cooked, but needs to remember that the customer is paying for food they want to eat, cooked how they like).

The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The sort of room when you walk in you're instantly pleased. There was a balcony overlooking the car park but this was not a bad thing, it might not have a view of the lake but I didn't even know I'd got a balcony when I booked. Breakfast was good, there's fresh bread and a toaster, the usual continental breakfast and plenty to go at. Didn't eat again until dinner (pm) time. Big car park and you're right in the Black Forest region. I had stayed in Wolfach before and just wanted to be right in the forest rather than in a town - this ticked the box and then some. Huge shower, lovely modern and spacious bathroom. Food was excellent - not one person in our group was disappointed and we have varying tastes. Owners were lovely, very welcoming and staff were polite and professional. Absolutely will book again.

I'm struggling to think and I can be picky on such matters. Nope, can't think of anything and our group had 8 rooms - and nobody had anything to complain about either.

Excellent stop on a trip to Southern Europe. We liked everything and will be back. Super shower cabin. Small but pleasant spa. Very patient staff with our two toddlers. Dinner food was excellent.

Nespresso machine needs fixing and compatible coffee capsules not so exciting, please find a another brand.

The rooms were just the right size, the washrooms clean and very well fitted out! The staff was exceptionally enthusiastic and cooperative, and the breakfast and food otherwise left little to be desired! The cherry on top of the icing are the hosts, the very kind and friendly couple who run and operate this lovely facility!!

The breakfast spread was incredible. Much better than anything I've ever experienced in the US, and I travel often. I wish I had arrived sooner to have dinner and to experience the sauna.

Your website/app advertises that the sauna was open until 2200, not 2000.

The location is really nice if you travel to Black forest, make you feel closer to the nature. All staffs there are very nice and friendly. Room is super, big and clean. I have to say, it is the best hotel I have ever booked. Both my husband and son like this hotel very much. Fantastic experience！

Juergen Lauble, the owner was very helpful, friendly and highly professional. Great place to stay, excellent value for money. Staff is great, breakfast and food in general very good. Try their home-made sausages.

Fantastic location in well manicured grounds, with great outdoor space for a drink or a meal. Spacious well maintained rooms with generous facilities.

We had to leave and would have loved to stay longer.
