The gardens, the staff, the location, the superb food and the swimming pool and easy and secure parking.

The decor was just a bit dated and could do with an upgrade.

Thé garden was lovely and the central village location cannot be beat -fo is also the ample safe off road parking was welcome. The staff were all most friendly and helpful and the restaurant dinner was delicious with local french foods at the forefront of the menu

We were pretty disappointed about the breakfast if we are honest - a must for me is a good coffee in the morning and an over worked multi select your drink machine just didn’t provide it for me -also a distinct lack of cereal choices a disappointment- but I’m not picking and after all the breakfast is optional so if it doesn’t suite you are not forced to have it

The service was very good and the meals were delicious. The room was exceptionally large and comfortable. I was sorry not to have been able to use the pool because of the weather. The reception staff were very helpful with my many enquiries!

The water from the machine during breakfast, just isn't hot enough for tea. The breakfast restaurant became very busy with too many people serving themselves from 2 separate buffets, one either end of the room. This made breakfast not as relaxing as it should be.

Room was very comfortable; one of our rooms was up narrow stairs, so if there are mobility issues, be sure to ask for a room that does not require so many stairs

The restaurant was very good as far as the food went, but it was also very expensive for the area, especially the wine.

Quiet comfortable rooms, quiet location in pretty village, and literally just at the end of the Chateau’s drive. Private parking behind hotel, which had ample space. Wish we’d eaten there too, as the restaurant opposite was very expensive

Discoloured carpet in corridor rather spoiled the overall impression. Maybe a chamber maid had spilled some bleach?

Location is great and the terrace was lovely for dinner. The food was excellent

Funny loo in a cupboard but otherwise all good. Due to timings we couldn’t make use of the pool which was disappointing

We stayed here for two nights and would recommend the Hotel Restaurant La Roseraie as a welcoming, comfortable and safe place to stay. My friend had the accessible room beside the rose garden which was absolutely perfect for her and I stayed in a lovely first floor room also beside the garden. There was plenty of free parking and the swimming pool was being well utilised during our stay. We ate our evening meal on the terrace of the restaurant and very much enjoyed our choices and there was a good selection of fresh breads, pastries, fruits etc for breakfast. The staff were friendly, helpful and at all times very professional.

Nothing springs to mind

Large comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning. The breakfast was good quality. The location was excellent for Chenonceaux; the entrance was probably less than 200 metres away.

The car parking was very tight. We arrived toward the latter part of the evening and found the last space. I think there may have been one or two others arriving after us who might have had to park off-site.

We have been staying at this hotel for over 40 years and although the owners have come and gone, it remains a comfortable and friendly place to stay whether on our way south to my parents home or north on the way back to the UK as it is a great location to make the journey manageable. The restaurant is good and rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is good and sets you up for the day as they provide bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs in addition to the usual continental breakfast. It has a pool in the summer months though I have only ever used it once. The location is very close to the amazing Chateau de Chenonceaux which is well worth a visit.

They have tea/coffee making facilities which is nice but we had three people in the room (our daughter and us) and there were only 2 cups. It would be nice if they could remember to add a third cup when the room is being let out for three adults.

The room was a little hot as the radiator could not be turned off in the seating area but there is an air-conditioning unit which I managed to get working to cool us down. They have tea/coffee making facilities which is nice but we had three people in the room (our daughter and us) and there were only 2 cups.
