I've seen many hotels in Dar es salaam, but this was the first one that made sense from A to Z. Great welcome at arrival, clean and light rooms, quiet rooms (even though we were on the street side..you hear traffic but in comparison with most hotels in Dar , it's quiet) big rooms, amazing shower. The hotel has a beautiful garden and nice pool. The breakfast is big and very tasty.. I guess this is where the hotel really got me, the breakfast. Again in most hotels in Dar it's a waste of your time to even try the breakfast. But in delta I'd make some time for it. It's big and fresh. A lot of choices, a lot of fruits and tasty coffee. As I'm in Dar several times per year, I'll definitely come back to Delta..

Unfortunately, the mattress was very soft, making me wake up with a broken back. But that's just a matter of personal preference.

The location was excellent – conveniently close to Coco Beach with its vibrant nightlife and dining options. The abundance of restaurants in the surrounding area was also a plus. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Additionally, I found the staff to be both friendly and attentive, which greatly enhanced my experience. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

hile the overall stay was pleasant, I did find the location to be a bit far from the city center. Additionally, I encountered some difficulty when the shuttle driver refused to run a small errand for us. I found his demeanor to be a bit rude, which impacted my overall experience.

Great location and the grounds are lovely with beautifully kept gardens. Lots of areas to sit so guests are not on top of each other. Very good customer service in the restaurant for breakfast, Sia in particular stood out and went the extra mile to make sure everything was good for us.

Check out was a pain. No express check out; I waited ages when I didn't have anything to settle anyway. Receipt could have been emailed or texted to me rather than waiting for a printer (!) to do a receipt that confirmed a zero balance ...go figure!

Silvia felt like my personal hostess, she was always there greeting with a smile and ready to help with any task at hand. We loved the fact that we could add our taxi bill's to the room account, this was a real added benefit.

An excellent experience all round! I will definitely be using this hotel for all future travel to Dar Es Salaam

An unfortunate mis-hap whereby Booking.com duplicated my booking and I could have potentially been liable for a double booking but I think this has been resolved and please can you find out and get back to me?

The location was perfect, except the beach itself looked a little dirty at low tide and did not seem to encourage swimming in the sea. The pool was fairly small and was closed the day after we arrived. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially at reception and in the dining room.

The pool could have been larger or perhaps two pools, so that when one was closed there would still have been the opportunity to swim.

The staff at this hotel is amazing. Super friendly and wanting your stay to be just perfect! The buffet breakfast is delicious. As is all other food at the restaurant and bar. Spa services also exceptional. They are also helpful in arranging ferry tickets to Zanzibar and rides to and from the ferry. Very secure place. Beautiful pool, nice gym, spacious rooms and gorgeous view!

The location is great and the room was clean and speatious. Comfy beds and great view. The staff was exceptional. Nice pool area.

Gym could be better equipped for that price. The peer was closed unfortunately when we were there which had been one of the reasons we booked the hotel in the first place. I paid in cash for a coffee and never received my change.

Great hotel good level in every step, staff were very humble Mr Rasheed was very helpful offered free upgrade thank you, room were exceptional so is bed very comfortable ! Lovely breakfast views of sea sunset Close to Coco beach ! I will come back again ! I would complaint loud music from next door restaurant spoils the vibe of ocean waves !

The gardens, pool area and outdoor bar are really lovely. The breakfast and restaurant meals were excellent and the lobby and bar are nice. Staff are so friendly and also had a great massage.

We had a bit of a mix up with a double payment that was sorted but caused some confusion. The pool had been closed for renovations but reopened for our last few days.
