We would usually camp when in the area visiting family. However this particular trip, the weather got nasty fast and we had to make a quick, affordable reservation somewhere that would accommodate our fur baby (a big, “intimidating” amstaf boxer mix 🙄) HJ was one of the cheapest in the are and by far the best rated for a pet friendly facility. They weren’t only accommodating, but they also very reasonable with their pet fee being only $15. Rooms were clean, check in was fast and pleasant and we got in and out without wanting or needing for anything.

I don’t recall having any complaints, at all! Of course we were only there a very short time, just enjoying to shower and sleep, but they made that easy and comfortable for us all!

The biggest plus in this hotel was the clean, upkept appearance-- but allowing us to pull in directly to our first floor room. We have a lot of "stuff" to unload during our road trips, including food. It's delightful to have a clean and well-lit space where you can pull right up and unload without taking stairs. It was also quiet- the bed was comfortable and we needed a night of good sleep.

We would have appreciated an in-room coffee maker. Because sleep was a bit restless, we didn't get up in time for breakfast. Coffee would have been appreciated. Would also recommend keeping breakfast open until 10:00 a.m.

It’s a bright location. Feel very secure. Plenty of restaurants near by.

The shower was not that clean this time. Had to rinse the hair away before I got in. The door had a weird handle, you had to turn opposite of normal. They knew this and were watching from the office so they could then yell out the door to correct me. Why did they not tell me when I checked in. Also, this room did not have the water pressure like I had previously expected.

Easy check in. Great room, accommodations, and value for your money. Pet friendly, even at the last minute! I didn't realize when I booked the room I would be bringing a new pet home with me due to a death in the family. We were charged only $15 extra to include our new furry companion. (We only stayed for 1 night.)

I have nothing bad to say about my stay.

I loved the location, definitely a bang for your buck! The cleaners were very friendly and did not mind checking back up to not wake you up so early.

Most of the staff was friendly, however there was one who was rude when answering questions when I called. The hotel was clean, you are getting good value for what you are paying for.

I love how we were greeted when we checked in! The lady that checked us in was so friendly and knowledgeable. She put me in a good mood just by her greeting! She was amazing!

I didn’t like how who I am assuming is the owner. Stood and watched us as we were loading our car to check out! It was uncomfortable and rude!!!!

Great area to stay between Ohio and Florida. Area is Easy to get around for gas and lots of restaurants. The room had a comfortable bed, it was clean, and dog friendly. The staff were accommodating and friendly. I have stayed there in the past and will continue to stay in the future.

This is the first time I ever smelled a whiff of urine in the bathroom.

Everything was clean and tidy in and around the room. The check in was very easy, and I had no issues checking in. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, and we will be staying there again in the future. It was within easy distance of everything that we needed.

The room seems clean enough and had fridge and microwave. Employees were nice.

The continental breakfast didn't have much choices and didn't seem very fresh The coffee was terrible and our room didn't have a coffee maker. So I had to get in car to travel to get good coffee.

Room was new and comfortable. Price was good compared to other highly rated hotels in the area. There are lots of food options in the area, and the hotel has a deal so you get 10% off some dine-in restaurants. Check-in person was kind and friendly.

Fridge in room was very loud. I unplugged it for the night.
