Three years ago we stayed at the Bodhgaya Hotel School. It was excellent. This made it the obvious choice to book for our recent visit and, again, it was excellent. It is in a quiet location but within a short distance of the Mahabodhi Temple and the other temples. It is very clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Advice is available on places to visit and the hotel can arrange transport. And finally, by staying here you are supporting a most worthwhile venture which trains local people for the hospitality industry. On our next visit to Bodhgaya, the Bodhgaya Hotel School will certainly be our first choice of a place to stay.

Helpful friendly staff did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We have stayed here before and will return. Pawan on the front desk was very helpful. The service overall was great. The location was good. Walkable to the Mahabodi temple. The food in the restaurant was good too. Everything was clean and the water was hot for showers.

Nothing was needed to improve our stay.

Very clean even by our North American standards. The staff is well trained and always eager to please. The manager Pawan spoke good English and upgraded our room which contributed a lot to our appreciation of our six days stay. The breakfast offers different choices Indian and European (good French toasts or pancakes) very appreciated after a long stay in India. We also felt safe.

I liked the staff, they were all friendly and good fun. Ajay was always happy to assist. Powan Pandy went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly (including staying back after his shift to help me print my airport documents) thanks Powan for your help, good humour and great conversations! Lovely clean hotel with a great chef!

Nothing not to like!

The staff is better than the 5 start hotel in Bodhgaya. They try so hard. Good location near big Buddha. Walking or Tuk Tuk distance to everything.

Noisy guests. Not hotel fault. Housekeeping needs to be requested but they execute immediately.

Very spacious and clean room; friendly staff. Phawan was particularly helpful to us, even before we arrived, arranging taxi from the station. Food was excellent, and transport for trips out could be arranged. Very happy to be able to participate in a valuable project like the Hotel School.

It is very clean and the people are extremly kind and helpfull in every situation! It is silent there.

The staff and the service was the best. The students ,manager and orher staff helped me all the time. My phone was stolen in the karma temple and they support with info regarding police and sim card. I really aoprecite it. I recommend this hotel for sure.

The shower has not division and everything is wet while taking a shower. Prices should be set up to avoid charging any single small item like coffe . No internet available due some infrastructure issue in hotel area.

I have stayed here before. The service is again exceptional. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfasts were very good - plenty of choice, and good quality food. The manager was so helpful, arranging trips for us, and the taxi when we were leaving.

Friendly staff who are very very, sometimes a bit too attentive and polite. But they were wonderful and treated each issue promptly. Clean hotel, food options were limited because of a low number of guests but the food was still very tasty and they tried to accommodate requests. Special thanks to Pawan who insured everything went smoothly for me.
