Romantik Hotel Walhalla hotel is charming, historic, and located right in the center of town. Arriving during the week, the rooms were very good value for the money. During the weekend the price seems to go up quite a bit. I would recommend the hotel for younger people with no special needs.

I traveled with my mother who had a difficult time with the wooden beams in our room and bathroom. There were several right next to the bed in close distance, on the other side there were some right above the head. She knocked her head against one of those beams. Thankfully just a bump. The hotel also has several steps up and down between living area, reception and restaurants.

Lovely big room with a balcony. Staff in the brasserie were obviously well trained to be professional waiters not just waiting staff. You need to know that to access the hotel underground car park you have to turn the wrong way down a one way street just before the hotel!

There is no room dedicated as a bar. One would have to sit up at the bar in the brasserie. The last time, although there were tables not set up for dining - we were told we would have to sit in reception if we wanted a drink after a meal. This time they did allow some people to only drink at the tables but not sure whether this is a new policy, or at the whim of the staff.

A FABULOUS hotel - ancient but with large, modern, stylish rooms bang in the centre of the old town & surrounded by quaint old houses and a plethora of small shops sandwiched between great restaurants. Hotel has an excellent restaurant, beautiful terrace and super helpful staff. Plus its own underground car park. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Especially for the price.

A decent map for car drivers as satnav flunks out in the old town which is a maze of streets & mainly only for pedestrians.,

Great location, friendly staff. It might be a little noisy outside in the evenings, but if you bring earplugs it's no big deal.

Our queen bed was actually twin beds put next to each other, with a gap between matrassen and two separate sets of blankets. Also, unfortunately, the spa area was being renovated so we couldn't use the sauna. Would have been nice to be informed of this beforehand.

Lovely hotel in the old town. Fun to find as in a car restricted area with a narrow entrance but once there it was great. Pleasant helpful staff, car parking (the staff move the cars around to maximise the space used - a first for us but it worked well). We had a wonderful evening meal with friends (some local) in the restaurant on our second night. Great location for exploring the old town. Our room was up the side so well away from the street and very quiet. Shower good, bed comfortable.

Nothing, can't comment on breakfast as we took ours in the town.

The Walhalla is a very comfortable hotel in the cenrtre of Osnabruck provide all the comforts one could require with an outstanding restaurant and excellent breakfast

The directions to the hotel on Satnav are impossible to follow. There is apparently only one practical route that nobody at the hotel could describe to me!

great location with wonderful, friendly staff. Right amongst the historical part of the city and fabulous for an overnight break from driving.. Well appointed room with spacious bathroom and all you would need for a short break. David’s lounge, the bar attached to the hotel, was welcoming with super waiter service and the same excellent food as the hotel restaurant. Thank you.

The bed (Room 104) was too hard for both of us and my wife likes a firm mattress! Other than this, nothing bad to say!

This hotel is absolutely charming and beautiful. The bar and restaurant are exceptional as well. We had the most delicious dinner of our 3-week trip in the restaurant, and the service from everyone in Reception, the bar and the restaurant was so friendly and professional! We loved our stay!

The bed was a little awkward for entry and exit, but we had a wonderful night's sleep nonetheless.

- soundproofing not so good inside the hotel, you can here a lot (if not everything) from the nearby rooms - access to the elevator a bit difficult for some of the rooms

Beautifully presented with large rooms and in a very central location. They were able to offer us secure storax for our bicycles in the underground car park. Restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walking distance.
